Hi,,

Is this script for ONE single page , so i must login on every singel page again, or is this also for multiple pages protection with one login?

Thanks for comment

Hi! This is for UNLIMITED pages! ;)

Hi, im new to php and would like help with adding a logout button to my protected pages. Can you give me examples of how i can call the function to logout in php?

Thanks, Aaron

Hi, is really simple to generate a logout link. Just add <a href="<?php echo $phpPasswordProtector->generateLogoutLink() ?>">logout</a> wherever you want to allow your users to logout.

Hi, I need function to limit password usage. Ex. same password can be used only x- times. Is this possible?

Hi, unfortunately this function is not available in this version. Maybe I’ll add it in a next release.

Could you be so kind as to enlighten me to the proper syntax for echoing in a user? I tried with:

$username = ($_SESSION[$this->config[‘session_var’] . “_USERNAME”] = $user);

In my main config file, but this doesn’t seem to produce more than a blank name. I had also tried with `$user` and `$phpPP_user`, but these return no joy.

Thanks!

Got the user issue worked out, completely overlooked the documentation examples. I am now faced with another quandary, this doesn’t appear that it can block elements of a page, rather, it aims to block full page content. is it possible for this to block only sections of code from user levels?

I’m happy to hear that you solved the username problem. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no way to block just an element on the page. This script blocks the whole page.

Hi, I’m looking for a password protect script and yours seems to be what I need. I just have a few questions:

- If I have 5 pages, and user has entered the password to view page 1, should he need to enter the password again to view page 2?

- It works on PHP 5.x and 7.x versions, right?

- This script use cookies? If yes, is it possible not to use?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, mathiasjabs

1) You can protect every page with a single login. The users logs in just one time and then he can view all the protected pages.

2) It has been tested on PHP 5.x only, but it should work as well on PHP 7.x

3) It uses cookie only if you want to enable the “Remember me” functionality on login (optional)

Thank you! Probably I’ll buy it in a few days.
