Can this a) be used without the user needing to provide an email address, b) allowing a supervisor to monitor conversations and c) where the user needs to check a box confirming that they agree to terms and conditions before starting the chat?

There’s an option to disable email input – in such case user just needs to fill the name field. Unfortunately, there’s no special feature to supervise the talks. Additional fields like checkbox to agree for terms and conditions are not supported – you would need to implement it yourself (source code is included).
Is it possible to have the operators name displayed rather than just “Operator”?
If you refer to the welcome message, that can be changed in administration panel (“Settings” tab). Other than that, name of the given operator is always used.
Does this have Triggers or Auto Response?
Unfortunately, it’s not supported. It’s on the todo for future versions.

There is a typing indicator for both operators and visitors (small pencil icon animating in the bottom-right corner of the chat box). It’s activated after operator and visitor both send a single message.

Application supports only two versions of the widget – regular and a small button for smaller screens. If you’d like to open the widget using another kind of button/icon I’m afraid you would need to implement such functionality yourself.
Unfortunately, there’s no mobile application for operators.

Unfortunately, there’s no special setting for that. You could only change this manually. Below are the instructions.
1. Open livechat/js/customer-chat-widget.min.js in notepad.
2. Don’t be afraid of what you’re going to see . It will be one, very long, unreadable text. Just add this new line at the end of this file:
Application.GuestChatModel.POLLING_INTERVAL = 2000;
It means, requests will be made every 2 seconds (2000 milliseconds). Originally, it’s 5 seconds. Adjust the number to your needs.
This was for the widget. Similarly, for the administration panel:
1. Open livechat/js/customer-chat-admin.min.js in notepad.
2. Add this new line at the end of the file:
Application.AdminChatModel.POLLING_INTERVAL = 2000;
This should help.

I’m glad to hear you like the code organization. Application uses a custom-made MVC framework of my own. Therefore, there’s no website or documentation for this framework available.

The main administration dashboard template is stored inside “livechat/views/admin/index.html” file. You can edit this file in order to change the texts.
The favicon can be found and replaced inside “livechat/img” directory.
If you’d like some person to have limited access to the back-end, please create an “operator” account for him (it will allow him to chat and browse history, but not to change any global settings).
Hello, I want any operator to enter in a guest conversation instead of showing the System message that another operator is in the conversation. I modified MessageModel.php and disable some lines and it’s working. But I still want to know your advice for doing this task. What’s your recommendation?

Hello. Here are the steps you can use to reset the existing installation:
1. Open the “livechat\php\config\app.settings.php” file.
2. Find the installed=1 line and change it to installed= (nothing after the equal sign).
3. Save the file.
4. Open the “livechat\php\config\parameters.php” file.
5. Find the ‘superPass’ => ‘yourpass’, and change it to ‘superPass’ => ’’,
6. Save the file.
7. Visit the “livechat/php/app.php?install” URL in your browser and the installation wizard will be displayed, where you can set the password again.
