Nice app, but can you add more frames? do you have it on andriod too? I can buy it on ios and andriod

We will try to add more frames in next updates.

Currently, we don’t have it in Android but perhaps we will develop it.

I think it is very smart if you can offer it to andriod and ios, you can to make more sells on it… I gonna to wait until you add more frames..

Pls let me know when you add fix issue.

We will let you know when we add more frames or we go for the Android version!

Hi, nice app, there is a issue, when i test on real device (iphone6+) the app loads a front camera, no icon for rear camera load..any help? thanks

Hi, thanks for your purchase!

In fact, it is not a issue, It is intentional because we developed it to be used with the front camera.

However, if you would like the app to use the rear camera, I can tell you exactly where in the code you should change a line to get it done.

In the ViewController.swift file, line 195 you should change

if device.position  AVCaptureDevicePosition.Front {

if device.position  AVCaptureDevicePosition.Back {

Try this and tell me if it is working for you.

In next releases we will try to add a button to switch between cameras.

It would be better if pressing the start button doesn’t directly proceed to count down in capturing the first photo (would be awesome to have camera preview to ready up for the positioning before the first count down). Thanks, and great app by the way.

We are currently adding this feature as the default one as well as the feature of swapping between front and back camera.

It should be updated in a few days!

By the way, thanks for your purchase!

If in an update you could include the option to select front or rear cameras and have a preview BEFORE countdown then I will purchase thank you.

Ok, no problem!

If you have any other issue, just tell us.

5 stars from me – excellent clean code thank you. For an update, would be great to see rate system included and maybe even iAP to remove ads?

Thanks for your rating!

We may include a rate system in a future release. Although, the in-app purchase will take longer.

Hi, i need code without ads can you provide? I am new to swift can i upload it to store?

as you will see when you download the app, in the documentation, it is well explained how to remove the ads.

It is a common Xcode project so you can upload it to the store. No worries about Swift, to upload it, you can do it as if it was Objective-C.

Hi there,

Just wondering, recently downloaded the files and can’t find the images folder. Please help!

Let me clarify a little… I was hoping that it was possible that you could have an images folder where you could set different backgrounds so that after the photos are taken they can choose different backgrounds. Are you strictly doing the white bordered background with code or is it possible to make it an image file?

if I understood you correctly, you want to change the white frame around the four final images for another image?

If that is the case, you need to go to Main.storyboard and in the screen of the PhotoBoothViewController you have to add an image for each of the frames under the other main four images.

You could create as many templates with different background images as you want following the docs.

I hope this helps you!

Hi, I have recently purchased your app and happy. I am trying to add more templates and have changed items number and increased number in Line 107 as mentioned in your documentation. How do i update this code:

dispatch_async(dispatch_get_global_queue(DISPATCH_QUEUE_PRIORITY_BACKGROUND, 0), { () -> Void in
               var image = (indexPath.row < 6) ? self.chromeImagesArray[0] : self.sepiaImagesArray[0]
UIGraphicsBeginImageContextWithOptions(image.size, true, 0);
image = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext();
dispatch_async(dispatch_get_main_queue(), { () -> Void in
    (cell.viewWithTag(1) as! UIImageView).image = UIImage(CGImage: image.CGImage! ,
        scale: 1.0 ,
        orientation: UIImageOrientation.Right)

Please help.

I am trying to add more templates such as FADE, CHROME etc in this app.

I created the collection view cell with 4 images but there is no option to add an image as of frame…..I want a photo frame behind images…...a photo frame such as

The only option which is there is to change background colour.

I tried changing background colour as well but that reverted back to white.

Please help

There is a free app called photomat on apple store. The link is

If you check the app, they have a lot of frames for free and a lot for paid too. I am trying to add this to Photo Booth app. How do it do this?

first of all you gotta understand that the app right now has three types of layouts for the images (vertical, horizontal and square) and three filters (normal, black and white, sepia). So in the collection view there are three types of cell and in the code each of these type of cell is reused to show each of the filters I mentioned.

Apart from that you want to display frames behind 4 images, right? In that case the easiest way would be to add a UIImageView behind the 4 images each cell has. Then in code you can display different frames depending on your needs using this new UIImageView you added.

To do so, have in mind that, if, for example, you have 3 frames, you have to combine them with the 3 layouts and the 3 filters. In that case in the code, you’ll need to return 27 elements in the rows in section function and create each one of them in the cellForRowAtIndexPath function.

Sir, able to build and run your source , but when click on Get Started button, getting fatal error below code in viewcontroller, see error pointing below, please advise how to fix it, i am on Xcode 7.3.1

override func viewDidLayoutSubviews() { super.viewDidLayoutSubviews()

// get the bounds for the preview layer out of the preview view we provide
   ->Fatal error on this line-> self.videoPreviewLayer.bounds = self.videoPreviewView.bounds
// adjust the position to center the output
self.videoPreviewLayer.position = CGPoint(x: CGRectGetMidX(self.videoPreviewView.bounds), y: CGRectGetMidY(self.videoPreviewView.bounds))
// init the constraints of the top and bottom masks used to show the actual frame
self.topMaskHeightConstraint.constant = (self.videoPreviewView.bounds.height - self.videoPreviewView.bounds.width) / 2.0
self.bottomMaskHeightConstraint.constant = (self.videoPreviewView.bounds.height - self.videoPreviewView.bounds.width) / 2.0
// update the constraints

Are you testing the app on a simulator? If so, you need to test it on a real device as simulator does not have camera and that is why it crashes.

Hi there, would appreciate it if you can let us know what has been included in the latest update in Oct? Thanks in advance. :)

Hi, the app has been updated to work with Swift3, iOS10 and Xcode 8!

Is it supports Xcode 8.1 & iOS 10

Need Code without ads & Inapppurchse Can you provide?

Hi, it supports both Xcode 8 and iOS 10 (not sure about 8.1 but I think it should). There are no in app purchase and you can easily turn off ads if you follow the docs of the project.

Is it updated to Swift 3 ?

Yes it is!

I just purchased this and when I try to run this app it automatically crashes. Ive tried this via physical device and simulator.. I didn’t change anything in code either.

The application sends me back to my iphone home screen after I press the Start button. However, the application doesn’t actually crash. This is weird..

nvm I figured it out.. I had to go into the info.plist and add NSCameraUsageDescription

Thanks for the heads-ups. We’ll add it and update it.

Is there any option for printing those pictures? As in, I would like to connect it to my wireless printer and pop just them out (like actual photo booth).

Hello, I would also like to know if its possible for printing option, connect wireless printer. Thanks

hi, can you put logos or graphic designs to the withe templates?

I don’t understand what you mean. Could you elaborate a little bit more? Thanks!

Ill like to add an overlay design on top of the final photo strip.
