Any way to define the base salary in the salary groups and have the computation done from there as opposed to inputting the gross salary. Entering gross salary defeats the purpose of a payroll module.
Sorry, We don’t have basic salary feature in Salary group. And we are using reverse calculating for salary slip.

How can I pay per task?
You can not pay per task you can pay hourly or monthly salary.
Any plan to add salary deductions (Company Loan, Absent, Late, Others) also an option to add incentives (Target Achieved, Sales Quota Achieved etc.)
You can add component and assign the particular employee as earning or deductions. Please check the components once.

Just installed payroll and asset management modules. The install went smooth.. but still not see the modules on the dashboard…

It support for overtime request ?
Not directly but there is workaround for this. You can add timelog for the employee for the overtime he/she did.
Then on payroll page check the Add Timelog checkbox.
The amount is calculated on the basis of hourly rate set for the employee.

1- When I inspected the salaries unit in Worksuite (Non-SAAS) I noticed a part related to determining paid and unpaid leaves But in the SAAS system, there is no option to specify the type of leave, whether it is paid or unpaid within the leave settings Is this available in Payroll Module For Worksuite SAAS?
2- Also, in Non-SAAS system, I noticed that there is an account for timelogs within the salary payment. Is this available in Payroll Module For Worksuite SAAS?
Therefore, please explain clearly the elements included in the salary unit in the base
3- What is the mechanism followed by the system when determining (Use Attendance) Does it pre-divide the monthly salary on the number of hypothetical working days, and therefore, when there is no day, it deducts its value?

1. We missed the paid/unpaid in saas. Thank you for bring it to our notice. Will implement in next update.
2. Add Timelogs in salary is there in payroll saas also. By this all the timelogs by the employee within that month will be added to earnings.
3. If Use Attendance is checked then the employee will be paid for Total Present Count + Holidays
