Will this work on Opencart 2.1.0.1?

Yes it does. The only modification needed is you’ll need to make a directory on your install /system/logs and make it writeable. Working on a patch so this won’t be necessary.

Thanks,

Ben

The patch is complete and you no longer need to create that directory. I just uploaded an update (2.0.4) which includes some bug fixes for OpenCart 2.1.x that I highly recommend installing. You should be able to download it within 48 hours after CC approves it. If you’d like it faster, please email me through the contact form that comes up when you click my name and I can send it to you directly.

Thanks,

Ben

I have purchased this extension and we are upgrading to opencart 2.0 therefore need the upgraded version for opencart 2.0

Hi Fasilite,

It should be in your downloads page: http://codecanyon.net/downloads

Just download it from there and it will be the latest version.

Thanks,

Ben

hi .. i have installed this extension for oc 2.1.0.1 .. but there are so many problems occuring .. eg: if user is login it is caching my header and showing that same username with login .. 2ndly i have used one of my custom module through out my website , that is recently viewed .. it is misbehaving with my cart .. if i add a product in cart after refreshing showing me the cart count is 0(the cached version) what should i do know??

Hi,

I’d like to help you resolve these problems. Could you please click my name to send me a direct email and provide the URL of your site, your admin login, and your FTP login, along with instructions to replicate the error.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi benw, Will this work on Opencart 2.1.0.2? and Journal2

Hi haisam22,

The next release will fix this automatically, but in the mean time create a new folder called system/logs and make it writable. It should then function 100%.

Thanks,

Ben

Thanks it is sloved Now it works well

Great, glad it’s working for you!

hi, i found that the model does not support journal2 . my opencart is 1.5.6.4. how can i do?

Hi kinuschan,

What problem are you experiencing? Please provide as much detail as possible.

Thanks,

Ben

It’s not working correct on opencart 1.5.6.4. When enabled, my homepage is shown without CSS. http://www.maicogroot.nl/error.jpg

When i open the website on iphone 4s, the website is shown with a 5 mm white area on the right.

It’s not an option for me to exclude the homepage.

Correction:

when enabled a 5 mm black area is shown on iphone 4s

Hi maico89,

The script shouldn’t affect your CSS delivery. I’m wondering if the template you’re using is sending a dynamic CSS file for each request. Could you clear your spc.log file, then load the site both ways so I can see the log requests, then email it to me (my email is in the manual)

Thanks,

Ben

Hello,

I have 2 questions before I’ll buy this plugin.

1. Can you give me more details about the module? I mean if the module include this things: GZIP Compression Browser JS & CSS Caching Google Fonts Optimization Minification of HTML, JS and CSS files Separate Mobile Cache Multilingual Compatibility Multisite Compatibility

2. You wrote: “No license servers or obfuscated code, you get the full script.” The meaning is that I bought the script and can use it in all my websites?

Thank you.

Thanks for writing.

1. It supports GZIP compression which can be enabled in your OpenCart admin panel. It doesn’t minify html, combine CSS, or any of that.

2. The license is only for use on 1 site. If you’d like to use the script on multiple sites, you’d need multiple licenses. More information on the license is here: http://codecanyon.net/licenses/standard

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I am running opencart v 2.1.0.2 with a customised template will this work on such an installation? Is it easy to install? You say you are not currently offering support. What happens if I have issues or the plugin is in fact incompatible?

Thanks

Hi mowersplus,

It should work, but I can’t guarantee compatibility with all themes and plugins, there are a small number that do conflict. In my experience it works out of the box with the large majority of extensions and themes.

It is easy to install, installation difficulty is similar to that of installing vqMod. There’s an installation guide that comes with it.

I do offer support for this extension, but I can’t support problems caused by other extensions or customizations as they often require custom development to overcome.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Would you offer me a refund if it is not compatible?

Thanks Tony

You’d have to talk to Envato about that. I believe once an item is downloaded, they don’t allow for refunds.

Thanks,

Ben

Hello! when version will be released for OpenCart 2.2

Hi Dulat,

I’ve just released version 2.0.4 of SPC which is fully compatible with OpenCart 2.2.x.

Thanks,

Ben

Does this work with https sites? I have tried Nitro and other page caching with limited success because my site is secure and this somehow affects performance.

Yes it is fully compatible with https sites.

Thanks,

Ben

Hello Does it work on 2.2 version? I also noticed on you’r demo its quit normal page load, with a few product and catergories. How about 500 cats and subs with over 150.000 products??? The problem is the cats and subs that makes it verry slow. Like to see demo from that.

Regards

Hi Nicosplace,

Yes, it’s now compatible with OpenCart 2.2.x.

As far as number of products/categories, when pages hit the cache, it doesn’t matter how big the store is, it completely bypasses OpenCart’s rendering engine and just sends pre-rendered HTML. This means the bigger the store, the bigger the speed savings for pages that hit the cache.

Thanks,

Ben

Ok, thank you. I have bought this extension, it works and speed loading is now 6.9- 9.8 it was before 18-22, only the pagespeed is the same like before 84%, can this been increased to 94-96%?

Thanks for purchasing. I’m glad it’s made such a great improvement to your load speeds.

Most likely there are other issue causing the 84% score other than page load speed. Typical problems include too many CSS files, unoptimized image files, not using a CDN, etc that are outside of the scope of a pagecache.

If you google each one of the suggestion titles Google provides in pagespeed, you can most likely find a wealth of information on improving your pagespeed score for those items.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi! I want to buy this extension but I have a few quiestions: 1. Would it be compatable with optimus theme? 2. Would it comptable with 2 languages (ukrainian and russian)? 3. What differnce between this method of caching and caching settings in .htaccess file?

Hi vtkach,

Like the theme, I don’t envision a plugin like that conflicting with it, but I haven’t tested that with it, so there’s always a small chance.

Thanks,

Ben

Will help me to set extension if I will have some issues with it? Or how can I test it before buy?

Hi vtkach,

With the included support I will be happy to answer any questions you have setting it up, I can’t do custom coding though to resolve conflicts though.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi?

it works for custom theme? works for 2.0.1.1?

Hi msigifts,

It should work with most custom themes and is compatible with 2.0.x

Thanks

Ben

Hello, My vps has nginx as reverse proxy. As I understand it caches the web pages too. Will this plugin has conflict with nginx cache or will it help boost site speed.

If any problem occurs and I decide to remove the plugin will it remove all the cache and restore original setting of my website.

Thanks,

Hi Tirakarn,

Yes, they should be compatible, though if nginx is caching all pages, this plugin may be redundant for you.

Yes, when you uninstall, everything instantly goes back to how it was.

Thanks,

Ben

I do not see a modem admin panel

Hello,

Please try following the troubleshooting procedure in the manual. There is most likely some conflict.

Thanks

Ben

it works for custom theme? works for Version 2.3.0.2?

Hello,

It works with most custom themes and plugins, though I can’t guarantee compatibility with all.

It works with 2.3.0.2

Thanks

Ben

I tested on other page Cache extensions for OCv2.1.0.2, I met two problems: 1. Minify CSS will cause that my PavoThemes template can’t display correctly the page layout 2. The option_change_price_change Ajax was disabled. The product options change or quantity changes, I can’t get immediately new price change display on the product detail page.

Just like to know more about your extension before I purchase it: 1) Do you have individual options to enable/ disable Minify CSS, Minify HTML, and JavaScript? 2) Can your extension work with Ajax Javascript or modules? 3) Do you have any options to change page caches days?
