hi, i want to purchase this software. but i’ld like to know if i can upload images from my iPad . i can not do that with the default image manager. also recently i find it difficult to upload images. sometimes the whole open cart just freezes i have to close window or restart my router. i use version 1.5.5.1

Hi markleygab,

I haven’t tested it on an ipad. It does use KCFinder as its engine, so if KCFinder works, BIM will probably work for you, you can demo it here: http://kcfinder.sunhater.com/demos/standalone

Hope this helps, if you decide to purchase please update us on how well it works for you.

Thanks

Ben

Hi there,

Good extension!

Any estimation when this will be available for 2.0.1?

Kind regards Karl

Not yet, I’ll keep you posted when I do.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi, im happy to buy it; but when you can support OC 2.0.1?

Hi leon,

Hopefully soon, OC 2.0 uses a completely different image system so it will require pretty much an entire rewrite, I’ve started it, but it will be a while before it’s done. I’ll let you know when it’s ready.

Thanks,

Ben

Ben, I’m you regular buyer and still waiting for your reply. Half year is passed and there is no update for OC 2.0. I’m really disappointed.

Hi. do you know when it is ready for OC 2.0x ? i really need this. Thanks.

Hi corphunter,

No time soon, OC 2.0 completely changed the image system, so it will take an entire rewrite which I haven’t had time for. Sorry.

Also looking for 2.x version :)

Hopefully will be out soon!

Cheers, A.

Hi Andrew,

Whenever it’s done, I’ll let you know.

Thanks,

Ben

Hello,

I have subfolder named “new” (image/data/new) in image folder (image/data/) in which I am uploading images for my products.

Can I set this folder as default folder? When I open image manager I want to be in this folder (image/data/new) but still have access to main folder (image/data).

Thanks,

Leo

Hi LeoG,

If you browse the new folder and open an image from it, it should remember that and default to the last used folder the next time your open it.

Thanks,

Ben

Is this works with OC 2 ?

Sorry, not yet. OC 2 completely redid the image picker so I’m working on a full rewrite. No ETA yet though.

Hi, I would like to purchase this awesome module for my website. But one question, when you said that we can create folders, and move the files around will they automatically change the image path that already being coded on the website?

Thanks!

Hello,

It wouldn’t change the paths in OpenCart if you move around the files. You’d have to reselect the image in each product.

Thanks,

Ben
