HI,

What does this mean?

“Your newsletter is ready to be published and exported to be sent using your favorite e-mail program. So easy! So quick!”

Does it not send via Wordpress’s native email features through php or otherwise SMPT set up for specific email acct at a self hosted email or google business apps or something?

I like it, it looks really good, but I’d like a little more clarity before purchase please.

Thank you

:)

Hi CHRISTHREE!

Thanks for your interest in our Wordpress plugin.

For now, Newsletterfy doesn’t send campaigns.

The current workflow of Newsletterfy is:

- Create the newsletter.

- Test the newsletter pressing the test button (Newsletterfy has settings to configure a SMTP server or to use the Wordpress email function) to send an email with your newsletter to the email addresses configured by you.

- Show the HTML source code and copy it or export the newsletter to a file (only .html or zipped with images).

- In your favorite campaign management software (e. g. MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Mandrill, SendGrid…) you can import or paste the newsletter source code.

- It’s done!

I would like to invite you to check all this in the live demo. You can see all these options and even test the sending newsletter.

Here you can see the user’s guide, “Saving and Publishing” section: http://goo.gl/P2xY8v

We are working on the functionality you mention.

Of course, any suggestion is always welcome. Many thanks.

I see. The reason I use/choose and produce with WP is so that I can eliminate many individual digital services like constant contact and such from the lives of my clients.

If the plugin evolves to be self sufficient within WP, please alert me. That would be of value. Thank you.

Hi,

All the templates featured in the screenshot are paid-for. Does this we have to buy a template before we can even get started, or do you include themes with? And if yes can we see them please…

Hi!

We include, for now, three themes with Newsletterfy. All of them can be seen and test in the live preview: http://codecanyon.net/item/newsletterfy-newsletter-builder-for-wordpress/full_screen_preview/16013454

Even one of them have a screenshot here, in the item page: https://0.s3.envato.com/files/187034548/screenshots/01-Preview-Newsletter.png

For last, in the new banner promoting the support to StampReady themes you can see two themes, both are our, but are in development yet. They will be added to Newsletterfy in the next days in a new update (also, both will be sold separately).

Best regards and thanks for your interest in our plugin.

I would to set up a template in mailchimp.com that will automatically pull in the latest post from my wordpress site into that newsletter. Is this possible with your plugin?

Hi navindesigns,

You could to build your newsletter with Newsletterfy and automatically extract latest posts (and other content).

Then you can export the HTML to your MailChimp account and send it in your campaigns. Build the newsletter directly in MailChimp and pull in latest post is not possible.

Best regards and thank you for your interest in Newsletterfy.

Hi, I’m looking at this plugin, as it might work for what I would like to do.

I would like to be create the whole newsletter in the builder, rather than adding posts – some of the text areas are quite long, I’d like them all to display on the email newsletter, rather than a “read more” button.

So basically, it would be an “add text area” dropdown to add a text block – with a basic text format function. is this possible at the moment, or would I have add all the content in a single post? Then add a post block.

We would probably create a sub domain for the newsletter – and add a new post manually on the main site to link to the browser version of the newsletter, then email the newsletter from Outlook (my client does not want to upload a mailing list anywhere). This way we get to keep an archive of the monthly newsletter on our own domain, without creating it in say mailchimp, and linking to an eternal site.

Could you let me know asap if you think this plugin would be suitable please?

Are we able to build custom themes?

Many Thanks

Hi px2co!

Thanks for your interest in our plugin. I will try resolve your questions.

So basically, it would be an “add text area” dropdown to add a text block – with a basic text format function. is this possible at the moment, or would I have add all the content in a single post? Then add a post block.

Now, in Newsletterfy, there is a block field called textAreaField that any developer can use in its themes to add a text area field in a block (a block can have many fields of different types: text field, text area field, select/dropdown field, post selector field, product selector field, etc.)

On the other hand, this text area field doesn’t have format function, but you can write plain HTML.

In our next release we will add more block field types. One of them is a complete wp editor as you can find in posts or pages (beside others block field types like a date selector, an icon selector, etc).

In the next image you can see the current fields and fields in progress too:

We would probably create a sub domain for the newsletter – and add a new post manually on the main site to link to the browser version of the newsletter, then email the newsletter from Outlook (my client does not want to upload a mailing list anywhere). This way we get to keep an archive of the monthly newsletter on our own domain, without creating it in say mailchimp, and linking to an eternal site.

The newsletters in Newsletterfy are standard post types of Wordpress, for this, each newsletter you create already have a url, and is more, already there is an archive with all newsletters.

For example: http://goo.gl/r12kIk

This website uses Newsletterfy for its newsletters, with a custom theme. As you can see, these urls are managed by Newsletterfy. If they, today, create and publish a new newsletter, it will appear in the archive automatically and newsletterfy create the web version with a suitable url (url that you can access from the API in your theme).

For now you can send the newsletters with you favorite tool: mail client, mailchimp, sendgrid, campaign monitor… Definitely, any tool that accept the raw HTML code.

But, in the future…

https://goo.gl/fCXzN1

We will release a campaign manager in the next weeks. I can’t give you a exact date, but we are working hard to release as soon as possible. Of course, you can still use your preferred tool instead of the campaign manager.

Could you let me know asap if you think this plugin would be suitable please?

With this new information maybe now you can see better if Newsletterfy meets you needs. I think so, but with a little work of your part (and, of course, our support in all moment)

Are we able to build custom themes?

Of course, you are. You only need know a little of PHP and the necessary HTML and CSS for newsletters (you know, newsletters are a special world in the web development…).

If you decide to take that step and create your themes we will be happy to help you in everything you need.

Best regards, and I hope I’ve helped. David.

your demo needs email and activation, this is not friendly and I do believe many visitors would love to see more simple friendly demo, just get to the point and show your demo!!! this will make this plugin more seen by possible customers

You are right besfe70, in fact, we are working on it to improve the way to create the demo.

Thanks for your suggestion. Efrén

Done

Would love integration with sendy.co (export newsletter to sendy)

Hi roger_richards!

Know you if is there any documentation about templates for sendy.co?

Thanks for your suggestion, we take note :-)

Best regards, David.

hi. nice work u’ve done. i saw the demo. and i got interested in it. but i have a pre buy question.

1) does this plugin take place of wp_email completely? ( so any emails , confirmations , and … will be sent with this template ?

2) does it accepts .gif as a picture format in emails?

3) does this plugin , supports buddypress? (so important)

thanks a lot :-)

4) i’ve sent the newsletter from the demo, to 2emails. and both of emails, are appeared next to each other, (which means that if i send the newsletter to more than 1 person, they can see each others email!) does newsletter sending plugin uses BCC to hide emails or not?

Hi Poofy,

Thanks for your interest in our plugin.

Question 1 – 3: In this moment, Newsletterfy can create newsletters, but not send. The tool that you have used to send (in the demo), is a tool for test the newsletter with your own email accounts while you are creating the newsletter. We are working really hard in a system to send campaigns. We aren’t planning those features but we take note for future releases, both are really interesting features.

Question 2: you can use .gif format, yes ;-).

Best regards, David.

Hi, have a presale question. It’s possible to manage list of user subscribe to each newsletter ?

Regards,

Florian

Hi Florian!

In this moment we are working in a system of subscribers and campaigns. For now, with Newsletterfy you only can create your newsletters and sent them with tools like MailChimp, StampReady, etc.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin.

Best regards, David.

Fantastic job

Thank you so much st1s

Presales question: Is your plugin compatible with SendGrid API? thanks.

Hi again Rwin2007!!

We have released the last week a new version (1.6.0) which support the SendGrid SMTP API, thanks for your suggestion. If you have any more, do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards, AriasBros. Team

Is the plugin multiple instance? Can i have multiple different subscribe forms across different pages? Can I publish to each form to a specific list? Does it support multiple lists?

Thanks again

Hi there, I bought the plugin and installed it but when i try to add blocks to a newsletter it does nothing. I click add blocks to newsletter and nothing gets added. Please help me!

I just noticed it also breaks wordpress itself. The screen options drop down in the top right of the wordpress admin area no longer works. If i disable and uninstall the plugin everything goes back to normal. The problem seems to start when I try to install your plugin and it breaks and doesnt fully install correctly but basically crashes but when I hit reload it says plugin activated but the plugin doesnt work and also the problems i mention above happen. This is bad and I really need your help.

I tried removing and reinstalling and now all the blocks are missing. I only see three blocks. Before there was like 10-20 :( :(

Thanks for your purchase Justin and for contact with us in our ticket support. I just wrote you to ask some more questions.

Regards, AriasBros. Team

Does this work with multisite (WP network sites)?

Great, thanks for the fast response. The new campaign feature looks really nice, are there plans to add list management as well vs just having a field to paste multiple email addresses?

Thanks coloss31 for your interest in our plugin.

Of course, we are working on that feature and more :-) (it is expected to be ready in a week’s time).
