I’ve installed the plugin but its coming up with this error. – Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[’, expecting ‘)’ in /var/www/vhosts/thesmarterbride.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/di-multi-thumbs/multi-thumbs.php on line 108
Can you help me fix it?
Yes, I have uploaded hotfix for that error but it will be approved later today. If you want, send me an e-mail including purchase code and I will mail you new version of plugin immediately.
Thanks for purchase!
There seems to be an issue, please see: http://prntscr.com/34a3tr
Is it possible to add pinterest instead of facebook like and twitter on the images?
Also there’s no next or previous option to browser through the gallery without having to close each image to open the next one (it’s time consuming). If you can add this as well I’ll purchase it right away.
It is possible to extend prettyPhoto (jQuery plugin for showing image popup) with pinterest but you will need a developer for that (if you are not the one).
As for next/previous buttons, you can achieve this with simple edit to grid shortcode template.
Hi I tried it but it automaticly makes a list!? Any idea why? (http://www.nerdlich.org/southpark-bald-in-der-legovariante-verfuegbar/)
When you install the plugin, make sure folder of the plugin is called di-multi-thumbs.
Looks like http://www.nerdlich.org/wp-content/plugins/di-multi-thumbs/ doesn’t exist on server.
If you want me to do it for you, please send me wp-admin login details and I can do it within a minute.
Perfect! It works! Thanks for your quick answer!
You are welcome.

I’m thinking about buying the plugin. Is it possible to resize the size of the slider, or if i put the slider in a responsive column plugin, would the slider be limited to the width of the column.
Id ideally like to use it to take up half the main width of the content within a post. Possible?
If you have enough knowledge in CSS, it is possible for sure.
one question before i buy:
Is there a way to have the captions (or description) set in wordpress for each image appear below the image, between the thumbnails and the main image?
Hello and sorry for late response,
If you are developer, you can use all the details from WordPress Media for specific image attachment to edit slider template for your own needs, but if you are regular user, slider currently displays only images.
However, I will consider updating slider probably next week which will support descriptions for regular users too.
Great plugin and works a charm!
I’m looking at setting the slider images to a default height as all of my images are different sizes just to keep things nice and tidy. So I have added some CSS to make the image height 460px is there any way to have all the images vertically align center? Just so you don’t see only the top of the images.
Thanks for kind words and purchase.
The best thing would be to crop images to certain size. You can use external (free) plugin for creating new image size in WordPress and then use defined size in Multi-Thumbs slider.
Please contact me via e-mail on our profile (http://codecanyon.net/user/diwave) for further details.
Hi, thanks for the quick reply, my client wouldn’t be able to crop his images I was hoping that there could be a simply solution of centering the images inside the slider vertically.
The plugin I am talking about is much better solution because:
1) Faster page loading (no need for loading big images and then resize them with CSS)
2) Images will be perfectly cropped by WordPress
3) Images of all previous sizes will stay and be available for use – plugin just creates new copies of images with the size you define.
Thanks for your input! I’ll have a think about how I’m going to approach this.
Does this plugin allow social media icons to be displayed on the lightbox images?
Multi-Thumbs’s lightbox is based on prettyPhoto.js and it supports Twitter and Facebook share buttons by default. Custom work is needed for adding additional buttons.
I want to check how you look on the mobile version.
Open demo link in your mobile browser? http://demos.diwave-coders.com/di-multi-thumbs/
Does your gallery have a public uploader? I’m asking because I’m looking for a frontend gallery in combination with BuddyPress,
No, upload is available only in back-end.
Thank you for answering my question.
I was wondering if you where able to update the plugin to support using captions under the slider between the thumbnails? as mentioned in an earlier question.
This week there will be update for this.
Update is released.
great plug in thanks
I did look at your site and cannot find bullets in carousel so I assume you already found a solution?

Hi, is it possible to show the slider on category and archive pages? Or only on single item pages?
Multi-Thumbs can be shown on any post type and also you can show for example slider from one post to another one, by using post_id property.
You can find more info in documentation.
I’m dumbfounded. What a nice plugin. No problems, installed and it works. A pattern valid prototypical. Only two wishes left: it would be great if the slider would show up even if there is only one images attached. And it would help a lot if I could not only choose one image size for the slider, but also another size for the lightbox. Then I could show a fixed sized image in the slider and the fullsize image in the lightbox. Thanks for your great work!
Thank you for kind words and rating, we appreciate very much!
Also, thank you for suggestions. We will definitely consider them for next releases of Multi-Thumbs.
I am trying to use the plugin, and everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT when I try to reorder photos, I can drag the photos, but they do not drop into the place I want them to. They go right back to where they were.
I have resolved this issue.
Is it possible to have the slider show one image size and have the lightbox open a different size when clicked on?
Yes, it is possible. Please send me initial e-mail using contact form on our profile so I can send you modified version back.
Could you tell me how I can place the multi-thumbs element in my page with visual composer ? I have the box under my visual composer, I’ve added images… But then ? How can I place it in the page content ?
Thanks in advance
You should use shortcodes found in Multi-Thumbs Documentation for displaying Multi-Thumbs slider, carousel, grid or single image.
