having trouble with script. Uploaded the contents “as is” and could not get video to play. However, when i click on the demo.html file on pc, video player will display and play video in local folder just fine.

28 days continue on with no response. I have moved on to another script. Please kindly refund money since I haven’t been using this since its not working for me.

hello

We would like to use this on a site that a user uploads to… how would it behave with non-traditional sized videos? non- 16:9?

Hi,

Those videos will show fine, else change the size or aspect ratio in the settings.

Best regards, Rik

I’m trying to get the the site to cover more of the mobile device. Right now the “now playing” video is covering about 1/3 of the screen and the playlist videos ~1/4. Any tips on getting more of the page filled? Also, when I change the Playlist to “Vertical” the playlist videos no longer show on the page. Any tips for getting this to work better on iOS mobile would be great!

If you can add the playlist feature, I think to buy. Is it possible to add?

Hello, great player. Is there a way to display the poster on pause?

Hi,

No but you can show/hide the controls on pauze.

Best regards, Rik

Hello, Is loop function available for html 5 video player? Thanks

If I switch the player to the fullscreen mode, controls disappear and it is not possible to display them in this mode any way (I tested it on your demo for Windows 8 and Windows 10). Please could you fix it to be the controls displayed in the fullscreen mode too?

Hi,

I’ve done some research and IE11 has changed a couple of things about the fullscreen API. I’ll push a new update next week to fix these problems.

Best regards, Rik

Hi Rik, Thank you for your attitude to this issue. If you will be preparing a new update, please could you also briefly look at another bug that I discussed with you several months ago? This issue is that the bottom of the controls wrapper is not in line with the bottom of the video – it is moved few px bellow. Maybe the fix would be easy in css. Thanks and regards, Vladimir

I’ve emailed you a fix.

Hi,

I have a video and audio sharing website, I have a couple of questions before buying it:

- I want to see if your media player will play all video and audio uploads that my users upload.

- which file extension or type of files can the player play.

Regards.

Hi,

It can play the the standard HTML5 video file types. There are free programs/apps available to convert your existing video files to the HTML5 video files.

Best regards, Rik

and does it support audio files as well?

No, only video files.

Best regards, Rik

Hi Bro, looks awesome this plugin, question any way to add Pre-roll Advertising to this plugin and custom logo? I see your other product http://codecanyon.net/item/modern-html5-responsive-video-player/8406321 but it just to use with youtube not to used with self-host videos! I looking for a good solution for wordpress with add Pre-roll Advertising to this plugin, custom logo, youtube and selfhost!

Regards!

Hi,

Glad to hear you like the plugin :) Sorry pre-roll advertising is not supported at the moment. Also, it’s not possible to add your own logo. Yeah, the other video players are only for youtube.

Best regards, Rik

Does the API allow me to add a post-roll HTML content next to the replay button ?

Hi,

This version is the same as the html version. View my other reaction.

I am thinking about buying this, however, I have a question before I buy it!

Is there a way that I can embed the player to a Wordpress site?

Hi,

Yes purchase this one: http://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-responsive-youtube-playlist-video-player/8645995

It is exactly the same but for WordPress.

Best regards, Rik

Okay thanks you, but could you add HTML5 videos to that one like self-hosted videos?

Hi,

No sorry, because the plugin is fully integrated into YouTube’s API this wouldn’t be possible. None of the versions play self-hosted video’s, only this one: http://codecanyon.net/item/modern-html5-responsive-video-player/8406321

Hi, is there a way to hide the share controls?

Hi,

Yes, just turn the option share_control to false:
$('#vd').html5_video({
  source: {
    "video/ogg" : "...",
    "video/mp4" : "...",
    "video/webm" : "..."
  },
  share_control: false

One question before I purchase. If I add Flash fallback after HTML5 video formats will it support IE8?

Code for Flash fallback:

<object type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” data=”http://releases.flowplayer.org/swf/flowplayer-3.2.1.swf” width=”640” height=”360”> <param name=”movie” value=”http://releases.flowplayer.org/swf/flowplayer-3.2.1.swf” /> <param name=”allowFullScreen” value=”true” /> <param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /> <param name=”flashVars” value=”config={‘playlist’:[‘http%3A%2F%2Fsandbox.thewikies.com%2Fvfe-generator%2Fimages%2Fbig-buck-bunny_poster.jpg’,{‘url’:’http%3A%2F%2Fclips.vorwaerts-gmbh.de%2Fbig_buck_bunny.mp4’,’autoPlay’:false}]}” /> Big Buck Bunny </object>
