Hello mauriceford, you need to include font awesome to display that icon.

Hello, Thank you for your innovative component. I noticed one problem issue. All other (major) browsers seems to work OK, but not IE11. The menu structure does not open and only Back button is shown as inactive. Please check. Thank you.

Hello axcap11a,

I pushed an update with the fixes, they were all CSS issues that IE not supporting `flex: 1;` without defining the other parts. And for IE10 pointer events style was not recognized, so I replaced them to work cross-browser. You can check the online documentation now.

Hello tpaksu. Now seems to be OK with IE11 browser. Thank you for your prompt reply and reaction.

You’re welcome.

I would like it to have a structure:

-Chapters -Subchapters -Content of the chapters.

But in the end it doesn’t allow me to put too much text and it doesn’t allow it to be different for each chapter in the setPanelData, and I wish you would allow me.

Hello ricky20,

Can you prepare a demo for me because I didn’t understand which part you are having difficulties with. Your question has many answers otherwise, like adding scrollbars, increasing the panel width, using .html() instead of .text() etc. Or if you can record a screen capture and send the link, I can understand better.

Thank you for buying it.

Hello, I am using a html unordered list to initialize the plugin. But how do I customize the node display in this case ? The example shows that you must define the columns in the options and set the format per column. In my case I am not defining columns. Is there a function at the global level to set the format for all columns ? Something like the following :

$(”#millery-1”).millery({ source: $(”#millery-example-1”), panelType: ””, columnsformat: function (value, obj) { if(obj.children > 0) return “some html” + value; else return “other html” + value; } });

Hello again

For each node created can I customize the display label with my own html ? Specifically I would like to add an anchor tag with a link to specific url per node. So user can click on the label and go to a new page. In this case only the chevron will act as the trigger button to expand the node to its children. So in my unordered list I can add my own custom html within each li tag that will render in the nodes label. Ideallly a setting at the global options that would allow this functionality. Something like the following :

$(”#millery-1”).millery({ source: $(”#millery-example-1”), panelType: ””, allowCustomHtml:true })

Is this someting that can be added easily? Thanks, Giannis

Hello, can you send me a message from my profile contact form?

Hi. I just sent you a message on your profile page. Giannis

Replied with an attachment.

Exactly what I was looking for but can I add any html content after child items like a form?

Example:

First Column > Test Data 1 > Second Column > Test Child 1 > HTML Content?

Hi,

You mean HTML content as if it was another column? Otherwise you have 3 display types, overlay, modal and always open content area. Check these examples:

Overlay type: https://rettica.com/millery/docs/readme.html#panel-type-overlay
Modal type: https://rettica.com/millery/docs/readme.html#simple-initialization-with-html-unordered-list
Always open type: https://rettica.com/millery/docs/readme.html#panel-type-always

I am using Simple initialization with HTML Unordered List.

  • Item 1
  • Item 2
    • Item 2.1
    • Item 2.2
  • Item 3
    • Item 3.1
    • Item 3.2
      • Item 3.2.1
      • Item 3.2.2
    • Item 3.3

Where do I put the category name and panel content? Please send code example.

Documentation is not helpful.

Thanks, great work!

How do I add custom icon for each item in first column in html list?

Example:

Item 1 > Own icon
Item 2 > Own icon
Item 3 > Own icon

You can check https://rettica.com/millery/docs/single-test-4.html but you need to modify some. I used it for links, you can add a data-icon attribute and if it has data-icon, show it instead of the link.

Hello, I have a list which is completely dynamic and there is no limitation on columns. It can be infinite. Moreover, to do it I tried to use “appendColumn” method on “onnodeclick” method but it is not fetching the data. It adding the header and the content is empty. Also, there is nothing on network tab. How can I solve the problem?

The issue is resolved. I changed the “instance.config” directly and it works. Thanks.

Oh, glad you made it work. I was thinking to answer the questions at lunch time, you were faster :) Thanks for buying and using it.
