I have flagged all of your plugins for future projects! Love your work buddy.
Thank you.
Is there a way to make a different tab – other than tab5 with all the images – be the active tab when the page loads? I would prefer a tab with paragraphs to load first.
Thanks!
Hi,
In demo I set tab5 is the active tab but you can set another tab be active. If you look at the demo file you will see tab5 has a “mt-active” class, just remove that class and add it for the tab you want it be active when the page loads.
Kind regards
Hi, how difficult would it be to have none of the tabs active until one is clicked and then have the option to close them? I’ve almost finished what I need it for and can’t believe how easy the script has been to work with
Hi,
I replied your email, please check your inbox.

Hi Sohn,
Just purchased this tool and I love this fresh concept. Good job
Now I would like to have 2 or 3 differents MetroTabs on one page… I try several thing but don’t work. Have you a process or a hack in order to have several MetroTabs for my homepage (this is important ).
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Please email me, I will send you a modified version that allows to add multi MetroTab on one page.

Hi,
Thank you ! I appreciate your reactivity and it’s work like a charm. Good thing for my project
I think about your tools and now I find only one default. He is responsive with Ajax load, it’s perfect but now if a user don’t have javascript enabled, he couldn’t see the content.
Do you think it’s possible to create for the future a version with links over javascript… links that enabled on tabs if javascript is disabled. With this logic the user could see the content on statics and uniques pages but can see it.
It’s just a suggestion, if you want to have the very perfect tool
Best regards and good continuation for your sales ! Regards
Hi,
Thank you for your idea. I will consider this in my plugins and try to find a solution for no-javascript browsers.
Kind regards.
Hi,
Ok cool. Maybe, when you will find a solution, you can write a little tutorial to upgrade your lastest versions with the hack for this solution, if it’s possible of course.
Because I’ill finish an important integration… and if later I have just to apply your solution without remake all the work, it would be great
Good continuation, Regards
Hi,
Usually, when I update new version I also update the documentation on my site.
Kind regards
Hi,
Pardon for asking, but could this be available as a WordPress Plugin?
Thanx in advance for your answer
PS: Or wp theme
Hi,
At this time this plugin is just for standalone sites. I am studying Wordpress now, if I make a version of the plugin for Wordpress I will inform on my social pages.
Thank you.
Pardon for asking, but could this be available as a WordPress Plugin?
It’s possible to use this tool on a WP website as I try to do. Just add the files .js and .css in the header.php and create a model (for me it’s template-homepage.php) that you can use for a page. And paste the code of the script. For now it’s work.
I just want to say it’s a little integration to do but seems to be possible without conflict (depend on your theme with jquery, etc.)
Regards
Thank you for your comment
Me again
Do you think it’s possible to add an ajax loading gif if we use the ajax function, the time the content is generated ?
Regards
Ok, I will add a loading image into the new update.
Thank you a lot
Regards
Some of my web visitors had problems finding the navigation Tabs on their mobile devices.
When the minibar is created on a mobile device, is there a way to also create a text ‘hint’ to explain how to use it? That is – text to explain that clicking the mt-icon.png or the rightarrow.png will bring up the navigation Tabs?
But also making sure that it only appears in the content of tab1 which is my active tab when the page loads. It would really help if web visitors could click the text ‘hint’ (especially if it included the mt-icon.png) which would bring up the navigation Tabs to get them started.
Thanks very much.
Thank for your comment. I will add an editable text for the navigation bar in next update.
This is a great plugin. Haven’t seen an answer to a question above:
Can multiple instances be used in a single page?
Can other plugins from your ‘Metro’ series be used in the same page and update the same contentblock?
Appreciate your new responsive version, how difficult is it to use with Foundation or Bootstrap frameworks?
Thanks!
Hi,
1. Yes, you can use many MetroTab in a single page.
2. Yes, MetroTab can work with my other plugins in the same page. If you meet problems you can email me.
3. You can deploy MetroTab on Bootstrap frameworks as easy as you do in a standalone site.
Kind regards
Great news!
Will email you with some more questions.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for the last version
I have a question, maybe with your experience you can help me.
I use the script prettyPhoto made with jquery.
This script works well, you script too. But if I add a link with prettyPhoto (it’s a ahref with rel=”prettyphoto”) in a div content of your script, it doesn’t work… Do you think it’s a conflict with variables from jquery and have you ideas in order to use prettyPhoto in the content of the tabs ?
Thank you in advance, Regards
Hi,
Which method did you use to load content ? AJAX or inline?
and what happened when you add rel=”prettyphoto”? My MetroTab plugin does not work or prettyphoto does not work or both ?
Kind regards
Hi,
I use inline content.
When I add the rel=”prettyphoto”, I have no problem to change the tabs but it’s prettyphoto that doesn’t work.
Instead to have a lightbox with a picture, my internet explorer go directly to the url of the picture.
Thanks for your ideas
Regards
Hi,
I tested my MetroTab and PrettyPhoto and they work well together. You can try to add “PrettyPhoto Calling Script” into the Content that is loaded by MetroTab. Like this:
<div data-mtid="content-id"> // image will open prettyphoto <a href="full-image-url" rel="prettyPhoto"><img src="thumbnail-image-url" alt="" /></a> <script type="text/javascript"> $("a[rel='prettyPhoto']").prettyPhoto(); </script> </div>
Kind regards
Hi Sohn,
Thank you a lot, it’s work like a charm when I add the javascript
I appreciate your reactive support ! Best regards
You’re welcome
Hi, Me again (hope you don’t hate me :p) Could you check your last release ? I have a bug on website when I use 2 metrotabs. In order to see if my settings are good, I try to upload the entire directory “source” on my hoster. When I launch metrotab-v2x.php it doesn’t work (we see only the tab but the script don’t work and don’t load the content). Is it possible for you to check if it’s okay with this directoy “source” on a fresh install. Thank you in advance, Best regards
Hi,
Sorry for my last message, you can ignore it. I use another hoster and I see that it’s my nginx configuration that don’t want to read a .js… your release is ok.
I find the bug. I use 2 metrotabs and I use 2 differents divs id=”mt-station”. It’s not the better solution, and now I have only one div id=”mt-station” with all the content of my tabs and in my webpage I call the tabs where I want. It’s okay now. You can delete my messages if you can/want.
Best regards !
Hi Sohn
I have purchased your script, but the download contains an old documentation file (v. 1.4). The names of the js, css files and folders have apparently changed and probably also the way metrotabs is set up (I can see that the sample file that comes with your script and the documentation do not match). Can you email me an up-to-date version of the documentation?
Thank you!
Susanne
Hi,
You can check new online MetroTab docs at here: http://docs.sonhlab.com/metrotab-responsive-metro-ui-tabs/
Kind regards
Thanks for the quick reply, Sohn. Will check the online documentation.
Susanne

Thxx Igor Nick
Hi,
Sorry, the plugin does not support to load files with url params.
Kind regards
Hi! Plugin is great, but I have a little question – is it possible to add hash to tabs links? Like this: #tab1, #tab2, #tab3 ?
Hi,
MetroTab does not support to open tabs by hash tag.
Kind regards.
quick question.. by looking at the sample code it uses for each image.. does it mean I can load a separate webpage on each image click? if so, it would mean for mean to retain the menu I have to control that myself on to what page/image I am not so make the respective Image as an active, right?
Hi,
Yes, you can load any HTML in Tab Content Area (include iframes to show other webpages).
Kind regards.
