for Flexibility

It lacks flexibility for media types and use cases.

Hello, what do you mean precisely with "lacks flexibility for media types"?

for Code Quality

Verily Mediagrid is one of the best plugins I ever bought. The functionality and code quality is simply stunning.

It's pity that shortcodes of a post-content do not work in the Lightbox, otherwise Mediagrid would be also perfect to for using it as a Blog overview.

for Feature Availability

After you pay a premium price for a premium plugin, the author wants you to pay another $15 for the overly add-on for the ability to customize. That's shady. Plus it's cumbersome and buggy.

I'm sorry you feel frauded, but plugin/add-on features are clearly explained. You are also an experienced customer, then shouldn't be a problem.

About possible issues, feel free to open a support ticket

I find this plugin presents my work in an easy-to-use format that is attractive and customizable to my sites look. I also have had a wonderful experience with support from the developer.

for Code Quality

This plugin is way, way too slow when transitioning between two grid items. We have it installed on a super fast website server, with CDN and other advanced caching tools, optimized images, and the rest of the site is very fast. But in the Media Grid gallery lightbox, clicking previous/next takes 2 seconds or longer for the next image to load. We've brought this up previously but it does not seem to be a priority for the developer to troubleshoot and fix.

Hello, are you aware of how Media Grid works?

it is a portfolio plugin and its lightbox is built to manage complex contents. Then every item contents must be returned by your server through an Ajax call. It inevitably takes a little while and then contents have to be preloaded.

Speed is always my highest priority, but in this case there's nothing to do. An Ajax call requires this little delay. Otherwise you'd have everything on the same page and its speed would be heavily affected.

Hope you understand how media grid works and you may reconsider your rating. Thanks
