well mine is not generating the process.php how can i do this, its the last step i need to get this working.

also how do i redirect it back to the home page, all i get a blank page after the form is sent.

o i figured the values, now the redirect is that last thing missing. :-)

I’m sorry but I’m unable to help you with the redirect because I don’t have a good idea to get it to work for your, plus it’s really out of scope of the script itself. I hope you can find some solution elsewhere.

Hi, I just bought the script and I’ve got it working, but I run into two problems:

1. I need to be able to define a from address for the mail that is being sent. 2. How do I define a confirmation page (or at least a message)?

Hello pixelstyle, thanks for your purchase and your comment.

I will try to answer your questions the best I can.

1. Currently the E-mail form field does not handle any “from”-field. You can however rather easy add the “from”-field yourself in the mail function of the PHP code section by adding headers to the built-in PHP mail function. Submitted field values can be accessed in the normal PHP way: $_POST or $_GET

2. The Master Form Builder script helps you generate the main form with the HTML, JS and PHP code parts. How you want to define when a form is OK or not is up to you. Again, in the PHP code section you see comments on how to handle a valid form or a invalid form. In your case I would add more logic to the valid form part (since the submitted form is valid here) and then continue on storing the submitted data and asking for a confirmation.

The main idea with the Master Form Builder is to quickly generate a form with both client and server side validation. The PHP part of the script is harder to automate since what the script should do when a valid form is submitted is impossible to know.

Hope this helps a bit.

I’d think that 1 is a good candidate for a feature request.

And in my opinion 2 could be made to an option. It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose a thank you page url. And then when people leave it blank, they can use their own solution.

Hi again and thanks for your second comment :),

I can also agree that no 1. could be a good thing to update the script with. I will see in the near future.

As for the second question/solution I think it’s rather easy to include a redirect or similar to just point to a thank you or done page url. Although I will take it into consideration.

Hey. Nice work! I tried in demo your conditional option, but I can’t get it to work. Is maybe disable in demo or is there something I can’t understand :) In case if that works I will of course buy this masterpiece. Thanks.

Hello urbanlah,

Thanks for your time and nice comment. :)

The conditional option is disabled in the demo (because it’s written in Javascript and the source is easily copied).

Let me know if you run into any troubles if you decide to buy. Everything works and if you find anything weird I’m just a e-mail away.

Great Job! I have just one question before buying it. Can I declare a conditional logic by sending notifications to different e mail address based on a drop down list?

E.g. if ‘stores’ is equal to ‘option1’ send email to ‘email1@mydomain.com if ‘stores’ is equal to ‘option2’ send email to ‘email2@mydomain.com‘ if ‘stores’ is equal to ‘option3’ send email to ‘email3@mydomain.com

Hello,

Thanks for your time and comment.

The mail functionality in the script is rather basic, it’s a simple call to the built-in mail function in PHP. With that said you can easily set the email to which the mail should go to yourself in the “success” part of the generated PHP code.

You can not change the email in the available point and click interface though, in there you can only specify one email address. As I said though, in the generated PHP code you can change/add what you want and therefore be able to achieve your result.

Hi I am creating an app, I would like to embed an html/javascript module that user can make a restaurant reservation or a hotel booking. With your code can I create fast a module like that?

Hello rockstreamgr,

You can create what ever type of form you want with the “Master Form Builder” but if you are not looking for specific requirements (such as conditions or help with validation) I would maybe recommend you do it manually instead of buying this script.

If you need more detailed help or suggestions please contact me using the available contact form on my page so we can go through what you are looking for.

Improvement proposal for the aplication:

“the values ??could also be conditional too”

Regards!

Hi and thanks for proposal and your time. The proposal has been put on the todo list. :)

hi I want to buy this form-builder but I need to know somethings: i don’t use php code… please reassure me that I don’t need to use server side to use this form builder ?

Hello.

No, you don’t need server side code to run the script but the script will generate server side code. In order to handle the posted form data you need some sort of server side scripting.

Hi,

Does it support bootstrap?

Thanks,

The script hasn’t been created with bootstrap in mind so I think my best answer would be no in regards to css and js. The generated code has nothing to do with bootstrap. If you choose to integreate the generated code with bootstrap I’m quite sure you won’t run into any problems.

Thanks for your reply. Can you add support bootstrap css for generate html form using with bootstrap css?

Thanks,

Sadly I’m unable to do this update for you at this moment. I want to inform you though that you can apply whatever css class and styles you want after the code has been generated. The HTML and CSS is not fixed to the script. As long as you have the bootstrap css files you can include the css and add the form classes as you choose.

2 Questions: First the validation code included im assuming its not the same as your form-validation-made-easy. Is it similar and is it as robust. Will it do the same things.

I understand your form builder builds the process.php and adds it. Question 2 come up does that mean i can build a form and then use it on a site different than where ever i install this script. The reason i ask is i want to make sure everything i would need for the build form to run on a different url. I don’t want the form to be hosted where the form was built. So could the code be ftp to where the form will be hosted?

Answer 1: You are correct, it is not the same as the Form Validation script. It is similar is some details but it’s not the same. It can do the same things, yes.

Answer 2: Yes, the script (or builder) itself can be installed locally or anywhere you want. The final result of the script itself is actually no files, instead it’s code presented in different sections telling you which code goes in which files. So you are able to rename and change at lot of things when the script has been run.

It that helps. Regards.

I want to make a zodiac compatibility form

I want two drop down menus and a submit button Then I want the response of the 2 zodiac signs to appear

Can I do this with your plug in?

Hi, thanks for your comment.

The Master Form Builder helps you create forms. You can create any form you like.

You can create select boxes (drop down menus) and submit buttons without any problems. You can even add a condition to the select boxes and display the signs when both select boxes are filled.

is there a way to load the page with fields setup with labels and names already? for example when you setup a form, make it so the browser tab or window can be closed then open a page with mfb with the form settings already on the page so the form can be edited some more?

i put some jquery to grab the html inside the #fields div, then onload i loaded that html. it looks like the page loaded with the fields, but when i click the edit button on any of the fields, nothing happens, and if i add a new field, it adds the new field and erases the fields that were loaded on page load.

<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(window).load(function(){ $("#form-panel .box .content #fields").html('<li data-id="ID-1"><div data-role="wrapper"><label data-key="dfggdfgfd">ddgdf</label><input data-id="dfggdfgfd" name="dfggdfgfd" type="text"> <div class="edit" data-key="1" data-layout="text">EDIT</div> <div class="delete" data-key="1">DELETE</div></div></li><li data-id="ID-2"><div data-role="wrapper"><label data-key="gdffdgdfg">gfdgdfgd</label><textarea data-id="gdffdgdfg" name="gdffdgdfg"></textarea> <div class="edit" data-key="2" data-layout="textarea">EDIT</div> <div class="delete" data-key="2">DELETE</div></div></li>'); }); }); </script>

also tried loading all the functions on page load, and that didn’t work either.

<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(window).load(function(){ $("#form-panel .box .content #fields").html('<li data-id="ID-1"><div data-role="wrapper"><label data-key="dfggdfgfd">ddgdf</label><input data-id="dfggdfgfd" name="dfggdfgfd" type="text"> <div class="edit" data-key="1" data-layout="text">EDIT</div> <div class="delete" data-key="1">DELETE</div></div></li><li data-id="ID-2"><div data-role="wrapper"><label data-key="gdffdgdfg">gfdgdfgd</label><textarea data-id="gdffdgdfg" name="gdffdgdfg"></textarea> <div class="edit" data-key="2" data-layout="textarea">EDIT</div> <div class="delete" data-key="2">DELETE</div></div></li>'); codeHTML(includeSubmit); codeCSS(); codeJS(); codePHP(); toPHP(key, data); codeAll(); toggleThemeCSS(insert); fillConditionFields(selected); showConditions(); addCaptcha(); has(type); updateFieldsList(mode); toSpace(space); html(key, data, mode); parseAttr(extra, search); toAttr(text); toString(data, exclude); toOption(type, data, mode, spaces); toLikert(data, mode, spaces); sprintf(text); }); }); </script>

Hi davtrud,

Thanks for your comment.

Currently this is not supported. I’m interested in the suggested feature. I can’t promise anything but I’m planning on a update for the script and this is on the very top of features to implement.
