The plugin is very good and works perfectly on my website.

Very buggy. Does not work. The lettering doesn't change colors like it is supposed to and it is at the top of the background image.

doesn't really work with Mailchimp - no way to edit the background images in their builder. Stampready not working as well. Template not responsive.

The first, I apologize for problem what you meet.
With my plugin. you don't need install mailchimp. it use mailchimp's API to submit client's info to mailchimp server.
About background and responsive, please give me link your site. I will check it soon
