Hi, when a user accept a meeting, and dont’ have webcam in your PC, in firefox browser appear this message error: “Error getting local media stream: NotFoundError. The object can not be found here.”, and the meeting is not possible. In the same situation, but with Chrome, this error not appear at all, and the meeting can be done (with audio). Is possible to modify the code for this problem with firefox

Note that if you are testing from the same machine at the same time, seems like chrome/FF can block each other, so FF cannot access mic if chrome took it already.
But I’m not sure if I understand your setup…so this is 1:1 chat, Chrome calls FF, and when FF clicks answer audio, and then it stops?
1) CASE 1
This is 1:1, Chrome calls FF, different machines and networks, the first user have Chrome (with webcam and mic ) and the second user have FF (with only mic). When the second user ( a newbie and foo user…) attend the call with the webcam icon (the user think that the webcam icon is ok for see the caller webcam … ), appear the error message: “Error getting local media stream: NotFoundError…”. (if attend with phone all its ok). May be this webcam icon can be disabled when the hardware is not present…
If the second user (only mic) use Chrome (instead of FF),when attend the call with the webcam icon the connection its ok, no error messages.
2) CASE 2
In the group chat: the ff user (with only mic and not webcam) received the error directly when he access to the room.
if the user with no webcam (only mic) access to the group chat room whit chrome, all is ok.

Really thank you! I have installed the last version 1.13, and I have tested the updates. In calls 1 to 1 , now the camera icon is hidden for the users that not have webcam (in firefox, opera and chrome). Thanks!
a) In rooms with ‘desktop share’ enabled, if the user that make the call don’t have webcam, don’t appear the desktop share icon.
b) in rooms with ‘group chat’ enabled , it still showing the error to users using firefox and don’t have webcam (“Error getting local media stream: NotFoundError. The object can not be found here.”)

We use the random chat example. But we can not connect to a single websocket from different domains. We ask for your help in this regard.
AllowedOrigins = null;
The domain where web page runs must be the same as web socket domain, otherwise cookies cannot be transferred and authorization will not work.
But when you say connect not sure what you mean, which error you get.
I do not receive the error message. When I run Login Method, it does not work and comes back to the login page. Socket and domain are different. Is there no way to provide this?
this is browser’s limitations, not ours. But if all domains are on the same server/ip I see no problem setting socket url to be the same as web page domain.
If ip is not the same, then you might need to run independent instances of the chat server for each domain/server…though it might be against code canyon policy.
Or create custom authentication mechanism to share authentication id value (session) via url… but this is of the scope of what we support

hi, for some reason, i cant run the application anymore using web commander, the login user and password is correct, just like in the config file. any idea why?

I’ve integrated the chat section on my site, and everything works fine in the ‘http’ domain. But not getting any response after changing to ‘https’. I’ve tried the changing the most of the things mentioned in the documentation. But still shows ‘Websocket closed, please try reloading page later’.

We are very straight about requirements, what we provide and what we do NOT provide. Here’s 1 item from the requirements:
“Above average php5 and linux knowledge. You should be familiar with terms like linux shell, IP, domain, port, daemon, firewall to run this software. Besides logistic support, we do not provide installation, customization nor server administration services.”
If you look at right left corner bellow the price, it will say “magnoliyan does not support this item” thus the price. Maybe you are not familiar with Codecanyon market, but even guys who support do not provide installation.
We’re very clear that this is not like trivial wordpress plugin, click and install. It requires linux management knowledge. If we understand correctly, you are stuck with wss proxy. As for ITSYNDICATE.ORG we’re not related to them in any way, I’m not sure what they replied to you, but I’m quite sure they are able to setup the system, even if they never did it, but as I told you, you can search for any other contractor. We have installed and successfully tested your plugin over http, now the problem is when we try to switch to the https with the apache server on ubuntu,the chat-server websocket does not accept the connection via SSL proxy we have setup over apache2 wstunnel and the result is always

this works like a charm but I can’t use WordpressAuthentication. When i use room 3 it is not getting logged in (it shows login button).however, I can get wordpress user detail in custom php file located inside same directory where AuthWordpress.php is located but cant get username when i use AuthWordpress. Also I temporarily removed “if(!$userInfo || !$userInfo->ID)” from AuthWordpress.php to see what it returns and it returns “FALSE” in $UserInfo->display_name.

If cookies are not transferred most likely wsURL does not contain proper path…it must have the same path as the WP page otherwise browser will not transfer cookies since WP does not save cookies at root, but at specific path. You can investigate this F12 > Application > Cookies and watch column Path

Since you have confirmed that Envato has tested and verified the claims made by Magnoliyan author, why dnt you share the details of the test report on the specific claim of author saying that it works on PHP, Linux & HTTPS environment. I have already received 4 requests from your customers in the past one week asking me whether I have found the solution to the problem which they are all facing likewise.
You can either ask the author to support it with extra documentation or you should ask the author to mention that it desnot work on HTTPS. There is no question of requesting for refund. So far, I have no reason to believe that envato is not conniving with the author and turning a blind eye to customers. Awaiting your response with test report.

The point is to setup https proxy, there are many ways to do so, and we offer 3 ways in docs to do so. Depending on your server setup one or the other could be easier to setup.
What is your server OS? What is your web server and which version?
Hello Team, OS: CENTOS 6.8×86_64. Web Server: VPS. Apache Version : Apache/2.4.25
OK, I manage to make it work with centos 7, though I’m not familiar with this linux OS family.
6.8 comes by default with very old php 5.3 and apache 2.2, so it was cleaner for me to go with 7, but should be no different than for your environment.
Please force reload on page https://www.magnoliyan.com/video-chat-pro/#HTTPS,-SSL,-WSS to get updated instructions. Previous were marked as debian/ubuntu version. You should be interested in red hat based version, though it’s almost the same.
The key is to check if mod_proxy_wstunnel is loaded, and should be. Even if not you have instructions how to do so. Unfortunately, if you have custom hack to force apache 2.4 on centos 6.8…locations might be different, you will have to figure that out yourself. In general I would not suggest centos 6, since default php/apache stack is very old.
