Hello, before I buy this script, I need to ask does it support sub folders? and also support bulk upload of this sub folders?
Thanks for your interest in our product. Unfortunately, what you are looking for, specifically the subfolders, is not possible with the current build. We will be integrating search and categories in a future build which we are currently working on, but sub-folders are not something that we have planned.

I wanted to change the order of the albums and the order of the images in the albums and I couldnt do that I needed to reupload everything and still mixes up the albums even if I start the album name like 01-album, 02-album 03-album and upload them one after the other, 03-album becomes first… whats the solution for albums? also inside images in what order is ordered??

While the current version of the gallery up on codecanyon doesn’t allow you to sort items, the new version we’re working on (which will be a free upgrade, so you’ll be able to download it as soon as it’s out with no charge) will allow you to do so by editing the upload date of the images.

I needed to use iframe in order to call it inside a page otherwise crashes the script if I just use a simple php include script to call the script inside my website or is there a solution for this to not use iframe?
This is Sasha, Project Manager for the gallery and other related MS products. Unfortunately, integrating the gallery as you are planning is not possible. This isn’t simply a script. The gallery is a piece of software, therefore you can’t just include it via php. The only way to include the script into a website is by using an iframe. Otherwise, you might want to look into customizing the looks of the gallery yourself, since this is the most potent way to get it to look the way you want it to. An example of such a customized install can be seen in http://sugarsammy.com/gallery/.

Hi cyber83uk. We’re still working on it. I promise you will be contacted as soon as it’s ready. That being said, the lack of ordering in your current version is not a bug. It’s simply not a feature that was included in that version and was never stated to be included. I am sorry that your clients are unhappy about that. If there is anything in particular that is causing you any issues, do contact us privately via the support option and we will do our best to provide some solutions.
How do I change the login password
There’s a change password feature in the admin. Simply go to the settings page. Then click on Edit My Profile. You can’t miss it.

Hello Karimoo7. Please note that our gallery is a standalone piece of software. It was never intended nor built to be used with Joomla. It is not a plugin or an extension for any CMS or Platform. It can be customized with your site’s HTML or it can be used as a standalone but cannot be used with Joomla. Due to this, we cannot provide support for any attempts to include the software within Joomla, however if you need help installing it to complement your site (say in another folder) we can certainly help with that.

Hi Carl, at this point in time we don’t provide any translated versions of the software. You could in theory translate it yourself, and we would be happy to point you in the right direction, but note that it will require editing a number of files. We did try to make the interface as simple as possible, even for non-english speakers, so you shouldn’t have much trouble using it, however, if you have any questions, we’re always happy to help.
hello, This is a pre-purchasing question. My client wants me to create a Photo-Blog website that’s identical www.flickr.com, hence I came across your script. I want to ask if your script support different members/user with different ID and password to upload images as many as possible and can they placed the pictures on their own portfolio on the website and also can those pictures uploaded be categorized on the website once uploaded, i.e fashion pictures, actress pictures etc Lastly, can the sizes of images upload be limited to maybe 1mb per image.
Hi Gentlebright. The gallery doesn’t support multiple user accounts or multiple portfolios (but of course supports multiple albums). It does support categories and tags. As for the image sizes, it will display images at the size uploaded, so batch processing your images to limit their size before uploading would work. Given this is a photo gallery designed to allow people to upload high resolution images if desired, we have not imposed any limits to the image size. I think for the purposes you plan on using this for, our product is likely not your best option. Hi I just install the software, an try to install it, but I just receive this error:

and in the main : MS Gallery Main Installation/ folder there is no such folder.

We have an install-test software available on the product page so that customers can be sure the software will run fine on their systems. It can be freely downloaded before buying precisely to help prospective customers know ahead of time whether their servers can satisfactorily run our software or not, to minimize compatibility issues that would otherwise only be found after the software has been bought.
That said, the problem you’re reporting looks like a .htaccess issue. Please make sure that any and all .htaccess files on parent folders to the one you’re installing your gallery on don’t have any rules that conflict. Deleting them would be the perfect way to make sure of this, but depending on your server and what you’re running in it this might not be an option. If this is not possible for whatever reason, I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider for extra help on this issue if you are unsure. Do let us know if you have any further questions or need any additional assistance.

Hi. There is no .htaccess on that site. My question is, is there missing file? In the downloaded package is no install and database folder. Is that right?
It’s quite likely that there is an htaccess file that you simply cannot access. Speaking to your host might be helpful to resolve this. That being said, there is no database folder. You simply create a db via your hosting, and upload all the files as stated in the instruction guide and that’s all that’s needed. There are no missing files. If you’re having an issue, it’s related to the server configuration. Did you run the compatibility tester before purchasing the software? Let us know. Good luck.
Hi. with the htaccess, thats was a problem coming from my mac. Sorry. They are on default invisible. I activated it, an install it on the server now. But still same error.
No I din’t see that there is a test file. I install already a lot of differant sofware, but that the first time I have a error like this.

Hi. I’m not sure I’ve fully understood what you have managed to do, so let me simply ask some questions to make sure we’re on the same page.
1. You found an htaccess file in a directory above the one the Gallery software is installed in?
2. If yes, did you delete it or make changes to it? What is the status of that htaccess file now?
3. You have followed the installation guide, uploaded all the files to the right location and created the database in cPanel/Plesk, etc?
I upload the script and set the permission to 755, but I get a 404 error when I go to my domian:zhuang.polyhedron.cn

As for the redirect, this is normal. For installation purposes, the software is designed to redirect you to the /install/database page, however the fact you are getting the 404 is likely an htaccess issue as described above.

I’m afraid it’s a nginx problem, nginx not llike apache could recognize .htaccess file, while I change my server to Apache，it could be installed but after the installation，I still got errors, pls have a check on zhuang.polyhedron.cn
It seems you got it working. I assure you the issue wasn’t with nginx as most of the servers we used for testing had nginx and indeed the demo version runs on an nginx server. sorry but got another problem, I upload through drag and drop, but when I click the sync album, it gives some warnings

Why are there over 900 files in the “test” to check my server?
Hi 1cmathis. Essentially this is an empty cake install with a series of internal checks. This ensures that your server can successfully run the version of Cake required and the specific config, thereby reducing any potential conflicts or incompatibilities between the server and our software. While it is a large number of files, they are rather light and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to upload.

Ya, they are 2 separate installations. We didn’t want people o be able to play around with the Live Preview, forcing us to regularly delete photos, etc in order to ensure it looked good and didn’t contain inappropriate images. So one is just to look at it and get a feel for how the end-user will interact with it, and the other allows full access so you can play with it, upload, delete, manage, etc. So, one’s for front-end and one back-end. Hi tk-dd. You’re running a very recent version of PHP which we don’t tecnically support. This is likely the cause of your issue. That being said, did you run the compatibility test before purchasing the software, as this would have told you if the software would run properly or not. I suspect you didn’t. I’m not entirely sure your install will work with that version of PHP as we’ve never tested 7.2.1. Can you run the compatibility test and send us the results via email at our support address? Thanks.
