hi fvimagination, applovin just introduced an SDK for tvOS monitization?. Could you please integrate?.

Can you list the types of files it plays other then .m3u8?

It may also play m3u or mp3 files, but they are audio files so the video screen would be empty and the app would be useless if you load such files, you must stream m3u8 links in order to show videos, otherwise Apple may reject the app.
Cheers!

Do you rely on an external library to play the live stream OR are you using the internal one? Are you able to stream streams in TS format?

Hi, this app plays .m3u8 videos that it gets from a simple JSON file, you have to store such file in your own web server via FTP. It doesn’t stream .ts format.

We’re going on vacation until Jan 2nd, we’ll be still able to respond to comments but not to code. Happy Christmas to everyone!

Looks great! Do you know if I can use it with my own .mp4 video? I am thinking of say a fireplace app :)

Thanks!

Mo

It’s always better to store such videos on a web server, no matter their size, and use their direct link into the app, no iCloud. We think that the size in MB of your videos shouldn’t be too big but can’t estimate a max size, it mostly depend by the speed of your web server. Cheers!

Thank you! I appreciate it.

Mo
