Fairly buggy when it did work. However, I think I forgot to 'end broadcast' and within a week the plugin crashed my site and I can no longer get it to load. When I try, it brings down the site. Good idea, good UI, poorly coded it seems
Unfortunately, it seems that you have been using configuration settings that are too "powerful" for your server specifications.
Your issue is not bugs or code related. By design, LiveCom, like all live blogging web solutions that use HTTP Polling, is sometimes ressource intensive and may in some cases cause server crashes - especially when there are sudden spikes of user engagement. That said, when properly configured with respect to the available server ressources you can avoid such problems.
I invite you to have a closer look at the settings information in the documentation :
The front-end preview is miss-leading and the it's one way live broadcasting ... there are much more better plugins available for that
The preview page clearly states that the frontend preview application merely demonstrates how the different templates and animations shipped with LiveCom would appear on your wordpress pages once a live broadcast is initiated.
It is unfortunate that you felt misled, in addition to textual descriptions of how LiveCom works (on CodeCanyon and on its website), there are 4 videos on YouTube that explain the inner workings of the plugin.
