Hello Guys!
Do you think is it possible to add an option to show a Twitter-list in the Live Event feed? I mean if there is a new tweet on a list, it would appear automatically in our feed as well.
Thank you!
Hello Leons,
this is possible since there is the related REST API endpoint from Twitter.
I created a ticket for this. However I can’t guarantee at the moment about an actual implementation or provide you a release date.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Hi there,
perfect, thanks! Actually it would be a big help if we could implement automatically the tweets of a simple user from Twitter. I suppose the method is similar for this…
Hello Leons,
could you please indicate to which one of these two suggested implementation are your referring to? So I can add more details on this ticket.
- Adding the Twitter user timeline in a single plugin timeline item
- The ability to create an event timeline which is 100% retrieved from a Twitter user timeline
As I reference with Twitter user timeline I’m referring to these data: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/v1/tweets/timelines/api-reference/get-statuses-user_timeline
Thank you.
Actually, the perfect solution would be in case of an user send a tweet on Twitter, then this post automatically would pop up in our feed as an item. Thank you.
Hello,
I am interested in purchasing Live Events. Before that, I would like to ask about pagination and how it was solved in this plugin. I intend to use it not as a one-time event, but rather as a microblogging and always open event. I’m going to post on average 3-4 posts/updates per day using it. As I can picture, without any pagination, it will require “endless” scrolling after some time of posting new content, which is not good for the user experience after all. Besides, it will negatively affect the loading time of my homepage. Here are my questions:
1. Does the plugin support pagination or does it always load all content at once? I briefly looked at comments added by other users here and they were asking the same thing, but it’s been a while and the response from you was that this feature has been requested for further updates. Has it already been implemented?
2. Is it possible to set a custom number of posts/updates added with this plugin that will be visible on first load? If not, is there a way to adjust the height of the Live Event section and scroll through other posts/updates inside the section?
3. Does it support “Load More” button?
4. Can I place the Live Event section in 1/3 of the page block without worrying about readability or will it break? Are there any recommendations for a minimum section width or should it always be set to full width?
Many thanks for your reply, Rafal
Hello vyltus,
1. The content is loaded all at once when the page is loaded. Updates are added via AJAX requests when new timelines items are added/modified via the back-end. A pagination feature has not been added.
2. No. This might be possible only with a customization that involves adding a container with scrollbar.
3. No.
4. It’s a very simple layout and there is no minimum width.

not a single working example?
Hello kimmikennedy,
the demo site is accessible by clicking “Live Preview” in the item page or directly from the following URL.
https://demo.daext.com/live-events/
Let me know if you have other questions.
I know where the page is. Keywords “working examples” NOTHING is there.
Hi Guys!
Is it impossible to integrate a TinyMCE editor into your plugin? It would be much easier to work with it… Now it’s simply too complicated to use it for a live commentary
Hello Leons,
an update that includes this feature will be released in May. The update procedure.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Amazing, thanks for the quick answer! Do you plan to release an update which includes the scheduled posts as well?
Hi guys, can you please tell us when can we expect the new update? Thanks!
Hello Leons,
I’m sorry, I missed your previous message.
Do you plan to release an update which includes the scheduled posts as well?
I created a ticket for this. I can’t guarantee about the inclusion of this feature on the next update.
Hi guys, can you please tell us when can we expect the new update? Thanks!
We are working on multiple plugin updates. You will see the update for the Live Events plugin in the next few days, before the end of May.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Great, many thanks!
Does it work with AMP?
Hello vdberto,
the plugin requires that custom JavaScript scripts are loaded in the page. There are no options dedicated to support AMP, as a consequence customizations are required.

Purchased this plugin to use the live commenting functionality.
1. Is there a way to turn off moderation? The client wants comments to go live automatically.
2. The client does not want to force users to sign in before commenting. Does the plugin allow for users to simply put their name and their comment and publish immediately?
Hello scottwgraves,
I confirm that the ability to leave comments is currently reserved only to logged in users. I created a ticket for an option to allow comments for non-logged users.
Let me know if you have other questions.
I would like to use this plugin to manage comments in a business/event directory. I would like to know is there a feature that will let us configure this as a lie update comment system for posts and pages where we have comments enabled. I would like to replace the core comment system with this plugin.
Hello iDavi,
if you create an event that includes only a “Comment” section the result is a comment system with live updates. You can see an example in this page of our demo websites:
https://demo.daext.com/live-events/comment-section/
However, the following aspect makes this solution not applicable without changes to the plugin codebase:
A new event should be created for each page. So you would have to create for example 1000 events for 1000 pages and manually add the shortcode/block at the end of these 1000 pages. An implementation that automatically adds the comment system at the end of the pages would be instead a practicable solution.
Let me know if you have other questions.
I bought this plugin but it’s complicated to set up. I honestly thought it’s plug and go and i really need it today.
Hello Kanyiokeke, I just replied to your email.
Hi, I see you already have LiveBlogPosting Schema, that’s good, I have questions before buying:
- What do you mean in previous answers to “implement optionally”?
- LiveBlogPosting Schema, is it an option to simply activate or should I do something else from my side?
- My sites are already in Google News and in Spanish, it requires some modification for Schema? Do you have cases where live events are recognized automatically live en Google? THANK YOU
Hello antoniomanco,
- 1. You can activate or not this feature with an option.
- 2. You should enter additional structured data. Specifically the event start date and the coverage start and end time.
- 3. The structrured data are validated with https://validator.schema.org/ but we don’t have a live demo website with structured data indexed by Google.

Hello: Do you have a plugin or script similar to these that displays Tennis data?
Thnx.
Hello HeyJohnie,
currently we don’t have a plugin for Tennis data. We actually had a plugin for Tennis data a few years ago but it was a niche plugin with a very limited amount of users and now it’s no longer developed and maintained.
For statistics you might also consider our League Table plugin, which is a general purpose table plugin.
Let me know if you have any questions.
I have sent two support messages, I don’t know if you ever respond to this enquiries. It’s now over a week that I sent the first enquiry.
Hello opeedo,
the answer to your question about the liveBlogPosting schema implemented by the plugin has been sent on Dec 31, 2022, 9:36 AM.
Please verify the emails in your spam folder or contact us again at support@daext.com so we can resend the message.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Apologies, the message went to my Spam Box. Your support after we connected has been awesome. Well done
Does this plugin support google’s event type guideline so the my updates can appear as live event in google search.
Hello innovative6,
starting from version 1.31 the plugin can optionally implements the LiveBlogPosting schema.
Let me know if you have other questions.
can we replace the “clock icon” with ”Live Icon” in the tab section
Hello innovative6,
yes, this is possible only with a CSS customization. Technically a pseudo element for the icon is created with the following selector:
.icon-clock:before
Let me know if you have other questions.
ok thanks … if i purchase plugin then will u help me in styling css elements
Hello innovative6,
with the included support you can ask any technical question about the plugin. However, the support doesn’t include customization services. So we can’t send you customized versions of the plugin or ready-to-use code snippets and files.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Hi, results, statistics and upcoming shifts are automatic? For example Premiere League, Serie A, ect?
Hello lucalongobardidesigner,
the data displayed in the live event should be added via the WordPress back-end from a dedicated menu. The plugin currently can’t be connected to external data sources.
Data updates on the front-end layouts are performed with AJAX requests at specific time intervals.
Let me know if you have other questions.
sorry but loading images in live events – ElemensTimeline does not work. why? work for old versione baut dont work for last version
Hello crotoneok,
are you refering to the image upload functionality available in the Live Events -> Timeline Items menu? Can you please also include the plugin version in use? Thank you.
Please also note that as a customer you can contact us directly from the “Support” tab above for technical support.
Hi,
Its more than 3 years, you guys are telling that u gonna consider LiveBlogPosting in next update.. Last you commented the same 4 month ago.. So is there any chances ? of getting LiveBlogPosting schemas ?
Hello pratik95,
Tuesday will be released an update that includes this feature. Thank you for your patience.
Is this plugin have LiveBlogPosting schema?
Hello technicalnext, the LiveBlogPosting schema is currently not supported.
New update coming soon ?
Hello BorderlineMoon,
I can’t provide you a release date for the next plugin update.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Hi pre-sale question, is this a livestream plugin? So, is it possible to open a live broadcast on any platform and publish it on my wordpress site thanks to this plugin? If so, how many live streams can it support at the same time?
Hello metinuygun,
no, this plugin gives you the ability to publish a timeline of events and optional tabs with statistics and comments. The events and the other data are updated in real time without a refresh of the page.
The plugin doesn’t give any specific live stream related functionalities. You can, however, use the HTML embeds if provided by the streaming service.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Before buying the plugin, I would like to know if I could automatically send each update to twitter and facebook?
Hello bsantamariagalindo, I just replied to your email.
