Can the files be edited with Gimp software?

And for animated version, you will have to either use HTML5 editor or Google Web Designer.

No, these banners do not support dynamic feed. You have to set that yourself.

Yes, you can use these ads as static banners also. All banners include PSD file which you can edit and use as simple static banners. For animated banners, you can either upload published files (.zip) to adwords or using iframe you can embed these banners in your website.

No problem! You can directly edit the animated banners in GWD, which is a free tool. Detailed help file is included with this bundle which will guide you to change required information with ease.
