Two quick questions – is it just styling which controls how many dates are visible per view? Could it be made to show more or less for example?

Also, once the dates are selected how easy is it to then get the start and end date via a standard HTML form $_POST variable, for example?

I want to use this to replace two text inputs with datepickers but I am not great on Jquery or JS in general so am hoping it is easy to do :)

Thanks

Through CSS you can edit any visual aspect like width,height,colors.. So changing each calendar cell width or the width of the calendar view you can update the numbers of cell visibles. there is a callback function option that allows you to retrive every change on the Range Calendar. I think that this function can help you to do a ajax request (in your case through POST variable) to a receiver script.

I’ve wrote a sample of using Range Calendar Callback and AJAX requests, you can find it here .

Hopes this help ;)

Cool, I like it. :)

Thank you :)

Hello webagelo, I’ve just bought your plugin and I am wondering if I can set a date using javascript (and not only mouse events). For example, is it possible to add 5 minutes or 1 day to the current user’s date and then the plugin to show dynamically the new date?

Thank you

If you download the latest version (1.0.1), updated just today, you can use new methods to update programmatically the date and the width of the range. Take a look a this sample: http://jsfiddle.net/x7LY5/

Thank you for your reply! I tried to download the new version but the jquery.rangecalendar.js is the same. Can you please send it to my email address?

Hello how can we programmatically set the date of the range to a new date? I mean add a custom button action to scroll the plugin to a new date.

thanks

can you provide assistance on the question above?

Take a look a this sample: http://jsfiddle.net/x7LY5/

thanks for the example

Hi there I’m curious if there is a way to exclude weekend days. So if you have a 3 date range it knows the weekend are excluded and would display a 5 day range that essentially skipped/added in the weekends.

Also if there is support to exclude specific days like holidays. So if your 3 day range falls on a holiday it would display a 4 day range ignoring specific dates.

similar to $.datepicker.noWeekends and var unavailableDates = [“9-5-2011”,”14-5-2011”,”15-5-2011”];

It would be great to have built in support for “dates excluded” along with styling. Blacking out said dates for better visual understanding to a user that those dates are excluded.

For the weekends I’ve right now added an option to hide week-end days. See here: http://jsfiddle.net/Q63Rq/

I hope to add exlude-specific-dates functionality as soon as possible. Thanks for the purchase ;)

Thanks that seems to have worked visually. Now I’m having an issue the End Date it displays. End date that it shows ignores weekends:false.

Hi,

A really nice and useful plugin, great job! Just a couple of pre-purchase questions.

1) I would like to have a possibility to also set some day-specific parameters for each day of the selected range. Maybe some “selection” inside of selection, or just some on-click callback for a day inside of the selection. Is it possible?

2) Do you plan to add more “responsiveness”?

Thanks a lot, I will be buying it soon :)

And two more:

3) is “hover” event possible? to show some tooltip

4) is it possible to make some days unselectable?

sorry for being annoying, thanks again.

Just purchased. Once again, great job, 5 stars :)

Hello, is it possible to see the calendar in action? Maybe as a screen recording (video preview)? Thanks in advance.

I need to add a week (7day) agenda to a Web page head section….. I’d this a rolling calendar and who do I update the events?

Hello, how to select past date? I need to show dates from year ago.

Sir,

I’m currently working with the jQuery Plugin for date range selector you uploaded on jqueryscript. It’s a really nice system, clean markup. I’ll buy it on envato market, so you earn something with it. Why do you uploaded it twice? Under MIT and this regular thing? Also I need to know about database integration and how this date picker will give the output.

thank you,

l

presales question: I am actually looking for a date+timeslot selector where people can make appointments in slots of 15 minutes, with tunable timeranges (so i can control wether to offer a start time from 08:00 or 12:00). Could this control be adapted for this purpose ?

do you have this range calendar for android app?

Hi, I just want to be elected without a date range . I set the date range values ??only when the process is going right . But today I want to get the start date selected. start value of “0 ” can not be selected when I do . How can I make today is selected .

Looks great, but can i see a Live Preview of it working?

Hi , I am trying to set start option to ’ today ‘

$('.calendarDatePicker').each(function () {
    var currentDatee = $(this).attr('data-startmomment');
    // alert(currentDatee);
    var simpleRangeCalendar = $(this).rangeCalendar({
        startDate: moment(),
        endDate: moment().add('month', 1),
        start : "+1",
        startRangeWidth:1,
        weekends: true,
        theme:"full-green-theme",
        changeRangeCallback: rangeChanged
    });
});

but it adds a day that means the calendar starts with Tuesday not Monday
