Hi, I’m struggling to get the popup to appear in the same position across different screens. On desktop I can position it perfectly, at say 80% top distance, on the page. But on a different screen, like my laptop, it appears below and off the page. So I either have to position it a long way up the page for desktop so it shows, or have it cut off the screen.
I’m confused by this because shouldn’t the percentage adapt to each screen? So it should be consistent? I see it’s advertised as responsive to screen size too but it doesn’t seem to be working that way. I’ve tried lots of settings but don’t know to fix it, can you advise?
Sorry, I meant to put this on the WordPress Flying Popups thread – it’s a problem I’m having with that plugin.
Hi! Isn’t there a setting to stick banner to the bottom (when scrolling)?
Hey, when you set ‘top’ to 100% (and uncheck “centered”) it will be sticked to bottom. However when you scroll it’ll flot to the bottom edge not stick to it all the time.
Hi i only want to display the popup on mobile devices. Is this possible?
Hi, yes there is option disable_on_desktop. You can check it in live preview here: http://preview.codecanyon.net/item/jquery-flying-popup/full_screen_preview/175653
Hi is there an idiots guide to installing this? I have no idea where to upload any of the files unfortunately!
I’ve added this to my header
2. Produce HTML/CSS with popup content:
Where do I put this code? Create a new file?
There is sample.html file included in the package with some example of popups. Files simply need to be uploaded somewhere on your server and then paths need to match the place where you uploaded them.
