Sorry I’m asking this here but I don’t see this project in the create-it.pl support page’s choices…
The menu’s working fine, but the client noticed that if he drills down to a results page and then clicks the Back button, he can’t go back to the previous level of the menu but instead is back on the closed/original menu screen. Does that make sense? Is there a way for me to manually add a Back button that will only go back to the previous menu item?
Could you please send me an email to email@example.com with your site url, login and password to wp-admin and a link to a page where drilldown is used so I can investigate where the problem is?
Doing it now, thanks.
I would like to implement this plugin into my website. I have many items in one sub menu. Can it be align into horizontal, e.g. a list of grid? Please check http://www.geosumer.com and at the top, click ‘Select Location’ > ‘Select State/ Territory’ > click arrow sign beside ‘Kuala Lumpur’
Thanks for your advice
Unfortunately I don’t think drilldown will work in this case for you..
Drilldown works only in vertical mode.
I had some problems today with the plugin – I’ve sent an e-mail and got an answer within 5 minutes. Aleksander helped me out and sorted my problems and updated the plugin to the latest (unreleased) version.
Excellent and fast support! The best I’ve received yet! 5 stars!!
Hi ! pre purchase question:
we have a tour web page, so we need: to be able to select for example, north, central, south then activities and then the answer (link) to the page of our tours. is this possible?
Just to make sure, you will have:
— -link 2
—- link 3
—- link 4
If so, it will work for you
Full of bugs. Please see my email and help me.
I’m sorry to hear. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that our plugin will work on ALL themes out there that’s why we will be more than happy to adjust it for your theme to make it work.
Please create a new support issue so our support team can help you out: http://support.createit.pl.
Will this work with WooCommerce themes ?
Drilldown can be built manually (with HTML code) or by using any WP menu. If you are thinking about navigating categories etc. you will not be able to do so out of the box.
After installing the “jQuery Drilldown Menu for WordPress” plugin into our client’s site…
1) The “Revolution Slider” no longer appears when breadcrumbs are activated.
2) The Navigation disappears on mobile devices when breadcrumbs are activated.
3) Only the first “button set” does a drilldown, while the other “button sets” do not go anywhere.
4) None of the “Toggle” functions work on the website when breadcrumbs are activated.
5) The only plugin-themes we can use are “Classic-Light” and “Colorful”.
This is definitely a “breadcrumb” issue and most likely a JQuery conflict.
Look forward to your assist.
I will send you the SFTP and WP Login credentials to your private email.
Just sent a ticket to http://support.createit.pl/projects/jquery-drilldown-menu-for-wordpress/issues
Thanks for the reply.
I actually deactivated all the plugins and still have the same issue.
I will send you the SFTP and WP Login credentials through the support ticket system.
Just sent SFTP and WP credentials through the Support System
Your issue has been fixed. There was a CSS conflict and thus drilldown could ‘drill’ correctly:)
Ok. Great. Thanks for the assistance.
I activated the “breadcrumbs” and the “Revolution Slider” is not being displayed on the front page
The toggle functionality on the “Policy” page are not working.
So there is still a Jquery conflict.
Look forward to your reply or assistance.
Could you please post your questions on support issue you’ve created?
This way our support team can contact you:) Comments are not a best place for technical questions as it’s hard to ask additional questions.
Will post next question in support system.
I can see your new issues has been also resolved.
Not been resolved as yet. It concerns the “Start” breadcrumb.
Please see support ticket.
Submitted a support ticket about 7 days ago.
Have not heard from you concerning when will you be able to look into this fix ?
Or is it already in progress ?
Sorry for this delay – it is in progress, I will notify you when it will be ready. Your theme’s js and CSS conflicts with our plugin and that’s why it’s so time consuming.
Will August 31st be OK to follow-up ?
i work on local site and the plugin not working at all… in console [ GET http://localhost/help/minimal 404 (Not Found) ]
even in online also [ http://myls.net/vec/ ]
Could you please send me your sites url, login and password to wp-admin so I can investigate where the problem is at firstname.lastname@example.org?
It is not working at all. It shows unstyled list of menu items… did anybody make this work on the latest Wordpress?
The search function is not working.
Does it, or can it be it easily made to support a back button ?
I bought it a couple of days ago, just got around to playing with it and realised that if I disabled the “start” button and have no search box and no breadcrumbs (which is what I want) then there is no other way to go backwards.
My reason for turning off all those things is to try and make it as small as possible.
So the idea would be to have a < (back) arrow as you do a > (forward) arrow to go back one step.
I see what you mean – with some small adjustments it can be done.
Could you please create a new support issue at http://support.createit.pl? Also if you could send me a link where drilldown is used, wp-admin login and pass to email@example.com it would really speedup everything.
I have created the support issue and as requested.
Many thanks for the amazing support.
It’s nice to see good CS in action.
WordPress 3.8.1 ready ?
WooCommerce 2.1.2 ready ?
Wordpress 3.8.1 – yes. As for WooCommerce – sure, though it doesn’t integrate with this plugin.
I purchased this plugin and i’t works fine in a widget, but not in a normal page… Show a non-aligned menu, with no theme and no sub-menus… :
Something wrong with my .css?
Thanks for your help
Could you please make sure that shortcode doesn’t have any br/new lines in it (switch to text mode just to be sure)? Sometimes wordpress doesn’t properly recognizes shortcodes and that may be the cause.
If not, please create a new issue at http://support.createit.pl.
I´m sorry, but the plugin does not work at all:
1. alignment fails, all boxes have different sizes
2. no breadcrumbs (although it is checked)
3. back function does not work
Plus, I can´t find any support to this plugin.
I have to apologize, support is superquick and good. My fault!
I have a pre-sale question. Can this be used for image-based drill down?
what I mean is instead of text, can I place an image to be clicked on, then to the next step?
It can’t be used like this without additional adjustments, because drill down content is created with WordPress menus – that’s why it’s text. Feel free to contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org about this – we could prepare for you some custom solution.
I have in important query that needs to be solved please guide me, thank you.
I have overall 1300 categroies/ subcategories some of which are upto 6 levels deep. The form is loading fine and everything is okay. The problem is when i load the page it shows all the parents and children before rendering a usable version. This whole process may throw off the user and is overall not a good UX in my opinion. How can i make it not show everything and simply load the menu.
I installed Google fonts plugin from wordpress repository (https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-font-manager/) since then the menu stopped showing it only shows the parent and children of the menu all expanded. I deactivated google fonts plugin , deleted and reinstalled your plugin but still the same.
Unfortunately we can’t guarantee compatibility with all free plugins from the WordPress repository, though please contact our support team at http://createit.support/ with your site URL and WordPress admin panel access, so we could check this. Our team will gladly help you there.
does your plugin works with the last wordpress version (4.4.2) ?
Yes, it should work properly with the latest WordPress. In case you need help with our plugin feel free to contact our support team at http://createit.support/ guys will gladly help you there.
Hello I would like to know if the nesting result should alway end with a link (answer) or it can even just be a text answer
Our script is dedicated for creating menus, so by default it contains only links as results.
Will it work with wordpress 4.6.1 ?
We’re working on WP 4.6.1 compatibility right now. At the moment some methods are outdated but it will be sorted in next update.
