Nice. Bookmarked for future projects.

What would be awesome is an Admin login to add/edit the news items. That way it does not require a page edit to update. My clients could change this on their own.

I realize that makes it a different thing entirely, but worth 5 times as much to me.

Thanks :), I’ll add that on the next release.

Hi,

Just want you to know that wordpress version is available now :)http://codecanyon.net/item/wp-newsbar-wordpress-floating-news-bar/4716428

Thanks!

I agree with crayz. Commands / API to handle news and JSON support will be great.

Thanks :), I’ll add that on the next release.

Hello, very nice plugin. I’m working on it right now but I’m not good enough to find the function to force to have 3 lines opened at start. Do you have any clue for doing it ?

Hi,

Thank you for purchasing the plugin. You can just add click trigger on window load.

jQuery(document).load(function($){ $(’.jnews-toggle .toggle’).click(); });

Let me know if this will work. I’ll let you know when I added auto open parameter on the next update.

Cheers,

Can you help me to remove “Toggle” button? Thanks

Thanks for purchasing the item. You can remove the toggle by adding this to the css :

.jnews-toggle{ display:none; }

This is an excellent News Ticker. I was looking for a news ticker I could easily integrate into Sharepoint 2010 and yours integrated most elegantly. Thank you for coding it. :-)

Hello! Is there any way to set compatible with other jquery? My problem is: conflict between jquery 1.7.1 and I own a plugin that uses 1.9.1! If I publish the news bar, it conflicts with my homepage because there is a content that requires jquery 1.9.1. How i can fix it? Thank you!

Hi Honn,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. With regards to the issue, It’s compatible up to the latest jquery version. I’ve tried and there is no error. You probably include the jquery library twice, please remove the 1.7.1 and it will work properly.

Thanks,

Does this script operate on Blogger and Tumblr platforms?

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the plugin interest. With regards to your concern, this is a jquery plugin and you have to manually add it on the theme you will be using on blogger or tumblr in order for this to work. Thanks

Hi ravester,

I saw mention 2 years ago for allowing this to display an rss feed. The feed is from my own site, I need to display 3-6 rotating items. Is the rss feature still not available yet?

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the plugin interest. With regards to RSS feed, I’ve decided not to add it since the rss can be loop via php and just add the value on the newsbar items. Thanks!

Cheers, phpbits

How to implement reading and outputting news rss

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, there is no custom call for RSS feed, you have to do it manually via PHP then loop the output on the list then apply the news ticker. I hope that make sense. Thanks!

Hello sir, I’m interested in your module. However how can I implement in drupal 7.50. Thank you for answering me.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest and my apology for late response. Regarding your concern, this is a jQuery plugin not a Drupal module so you have to do the integration manually. Thanks!
