Hi ,

I would like to buy your script but before i want to know if it’s easy to keep the javascript counting always active ? It means avoid reseting it every time that werefresh the page. Thanks to you answer.

hi, yes it’s possible. You just need to keep the current value on the server side OR you can set a stating point in time, where the counter at certain value begins to count. Choosing the right solution depends on your app/feature logic.

Hi Piotr, the script looks great.

Before I buy it I have a few questions? I want to use it as an “Incident Safety” counter. My client has a factory and needs to display the number of days that are incident free in the factory. So it will need to increment by 1 every day automatically. Is there an option to reset the counter to the default value ie if there is an incident and they need to reset it to 1? Can we associate it to a calendar so that it automatically knows the number of days that are in the current month?

Also can we style it with custom CSS?

Thanks Gary

Hi Piotr, thanks. Another question. How would we add a “Reset” option? We need to be able to Reset the counter to the beginning of the “Current” month (if there is a Safety Incident).

Thanks Gary

Hi Piotr, hope you are well. Please can you help me with something. We need the counter to only increment ONCE PER DAY. How do we achieve that? Also we are trying add a RESET option so that an admin can reset the counter to ZERO MANUALLY if necessary. We are using it as a Safety Counter to show how many Accident Free Days there are in a factory. If there is an accident we need to be able to reset it to zero manually. Thanks very much. Regards Gary

Hi Gary. I’ve just spotted your comment (wrote 3 days ago :-/ ) Please, contact me via contact form on my profile page, so I can assist You more intensively. BTW: You could have that counter showing days, hours and minutes (ew. seconds) of accident free period. You can reset it manually, it’s not a problem, but You may need somehow notify the counter about the reset – for example by uploading a file to FTP server or updating a value in a database – it’s up to You which way would You like to do it.

Hello,

This looks like a great plugin, I am wondering can this retrieve an integer from a mysql database? does the documentation describe how to set it up like this?

Hi. Yes, you can do it. Documentation doesn’t describe it, but it’s up to You how to provide it with the current value (start value, or starting date). You can do it with a static text in javascript, by echoing it into PHP from file or database or by pulling it by ajax calls. Whatever solution You choose, I can assist You during integration process. Just contact me via my profile page contact form after the purchase. Piotr

ok, that sounds good. one other question i had, If I wanted this to count up, will it keep counting and not reset if the page is refreshed?

yes, this can be done easly. All you got to do is define count starting date/time and eventually pass server-side generated value (to no rely on clients local time).

Hi can I make it so that it reloads after it expires? For example after 24 hours “expiration” it automatically starts back up to the 24 hour count down.

Hi, Yes You can do it. It just has to be coded in JS

Hi, concerning the request for Warnex how do I set the script. The script should not be reset to refresh the page. I did not understand your answer. I’m interested in the second solution … to set a start date. thank you very much

Hi, please contact me via my profile page contact form… describing the problem you’re trying to solve. (I don’t remember your case details).

Hi there… I really like the layout of this timer…

Is it possible to set it so it countdown 18 hours and then, when finished, set it to start over with 18 hours again?

Thanks

Hi Yes, You can do it. However this will require some JavaScript knowledge in order to accomplish it.

Hi Piotr

I am on the verge of purchasing. You seem to have the only wordpress plugin that has what I need which increments manually and is NOT a countdown counter.

My question is simple, can I use the counter to display a static number, than change it to increment by myself every so often, when I need to. The preview page shows “Animation speed” as slow, but not static/fixed. I’m sure the answer is yes, but wanted some confirmation.

Thanks Tim

Hi there is a way to put this on my wordpress site?? like a plugin or so?

How do you use this counter to count a series of numbers that are manually input to the counter? The usage is to track the total number of events by entering the values every 30 minutes and showing the running total. In other words have the ability to enter the periodvalues and display the running total

Hi, I’d like to know if is easy (or is possible) to use the currency counter with a custom mathematical function. For example, I have to show something like: myresult=(total annualy income)/(number of seconds in a year) May I put myresult inside the counter? Thank you in advance.

Hi, Sure, you can use whatever formula you like. You just need to code it in javascript.

Can I used to my website?. I just want to show animated how many users visit my website

Yes, but You would need to provide number of visits to the counter by yourself. It’s a browser-side script.

Hello. We’re interested in purchasing the counter and would like to include it as a widget for a progressive pot similar to what we have now.

http://worldgolfskills.com/championship/

Is this possible?

Hi Yes, it’s also available as a wp plugin. It’s located here: http://codecanyon.net/item/animated-counter-for-wordpress/4662405

I went ahead and purchased it! Now the only issue I’m having is getting it to fit as a widget. When I try to embed it now into the widget area, it shows up too large. Here is the code I am using.

Hello please can the countdown countdown to a date for example a programme date that starts and end a programme 1st-28th December can it start counting from 1st and end 28th automatically

Hello, You are able to do this with this counter, however, there is no such a configuration option. You’ll need to code such a functionality.

Thank for your reply. I dont really know anything about coding please will you able to help me do this I dont mind paying you. Thanks

I’m trying to figure out what coding to insert into my page for a certain counter. There are no instructions anywhere. Please help

Hi, I believe You already received my message on that via e-mail. Will will find everything out here: http://codecanyon.net/item/javascript-animated-counter/full_screen_preview/233648

code samples, code generation form and docs.

Ok, I followed directions per your documentation but still can’t get it to work.

This is what I did, I’m not real familiar with JavaScript.

On my webpage I added the below to the <head> section <script type=”text/javascript” src=”counter/counter.js”></script> <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”counter/counter.css” />

I’m not sure what you mean by #2 Define HTML element, which You want to set as a counter container. Do you mean add the javascript code that is listed in #3?

Is this where I copy the code for example #4?

Time left to the next century

Years Days
Hours Minutes Seconds

<script type=”text/javascript”>

var myCounter = null var timerId = null

function loadCounter(){ myCounter = [ new Counter(“my_counter_1”, { digitsNumber : 2, direction : Counter.ScrollDirection.Downwards, }

characterSet : Counter.DefaultCharacterSets.numericUp,
            charsImageUrl : "images/numeric_up_blackbg5.png",
            markerImageUrl : "marker.png",
            extraClassName: {
                left: "ex1_left",
{
            digitsNumber : 3,
            direction : Counter.ScrollDirection.Downwards,
            characterSet : Counter.DefaultCharacterSets.numericUp,
            charsImageUrl : "images/numeric_up_blackbg5.png",
            markerImageUrl : "marker.png",
            extraClassName: {
                left: "ex1_left",
{
            digitsNumber : 2,
            direction : Counter.ScrollDirection.Downwards,
{
            digitsNumber : 2,
            direction : Counter.ScrollDirection.Downwards,
            characterSet : Counter.DefaultCharacterSets.numericUp,
            charsImageUrl : "images/numeric_up_blackbg5.png",
            markerImageUrl : "marker.png",
            extraClassName: {
                left: "ex1_left",
{
            digitsNumber : 2,
            direction : Counter.ScrollDirection.Downwards,
            characterSet : Counter.DefaultCharacterSets.numericUp,
            charsImageUrl : "images/numeric_up_blackbg5.png",
            markerImageUrl : "marker.png",
            extraClassName: {
                left: "ex1_left",
right: "ex1_right",
];
inner: "ex1_inner"
    }
})
timerId = window.setInterval(function(){
        var destTime = new Date(2101,
00,
01,
00,
00,
0);
        var now = new Date();
        var diff = Math.floor((destTime - now) / 1000);
800);
        myCounter[1].setValue(Math.floor((diff/(606024)) % 365),
800);
        myCounter[2].setValue(Math.floor((diff/(60*60)) % 24),
800);
        myCounter[3].setValue(Math.floor((diff/60) % 60),
800);
        myCounter[4].setValue((diff % 60),
800);
1000);
},

loadCounter(); </script>

Then I don’t understand the last step where you say After Counter object is created, You can set it’s current value by calling this method:

Where do I put that in the body where I want it?? myCounter.setValue(12345, 2000);

I’ve just emailed you about that.

Hi, can I have 10 digits? this page does not allow me to enter more than 9 digits. Is that how it is supposed to be?

http://codecanyon.net/item/javascript-animated-counter/full_screen_preview/233648

Hi, yes, You can have as many digits as You like

Excellent. But in this example configuration, as soon as I put 10 as number of digits, it defaults to 9. Is that only because it’s demo? Because if 10 works I am buying it right away.

Hello mate,

Great counter but I can’t still do what I want. I want an end less counter that would start at 500 and finishes at 1000000 by increasing of 2500 per day. I found this website that has what I want at the bottom of the page : https://branch.io/

Can your plugin do that ?

Thanks very much

Best

Hi, Yes, this plugin can be programmed this way.

Hi there,

I have purchased and installed the counter – seems to be working well!

Just having some trouble getting the counter to start from 0 each day at midnight and not refresh every time you leave the page. Is it possible to adjust this? Is it possible to allow for the counter to run for a whole year without refreshing?
