hello, I am trying your demo site but I don’t find the multi currency selector… What I mean when I ask if it supports multi currency is the following: USD is the default currency of my website, so in Jagif I set the subtotal needed for a gift grater than 100 USD… The customer selects currency zloty (from poland) and 100 USD is 1340 zloty, so the total value of the cart now should be greater tha 1340 zloty… So if your plugin is multi currency compatible, it shoud always first “translate” the treshold value from base currency to whatever the user selected and then compare the two values… like in the following plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-free-gift/6144902
I implemented the plugin on my website but unfortunately I confirm it currently does not work with multi currency: if I set a treshold of 99 USD and my customer uses another currency, the treshold is not converted

I’ve received your email with title “Re: multicurrency” and replied there, sharing the dev file. Just a quick note in case it’s missing.
I’m interested but testing the free version I see some basic accounting issues and bugs.
First of. Nothing is for free. Even though we may show a product as a gift, it has a value to it witch needs to be accounted for in the invoice/backend. Right now it will be shown as 0€. Also for the admin/accountant. One of the correct solutions would be to add it as a discount that gets subtracted from the total amount. The product needs a value for accounting reasons. Any solution for this?
Second. Despite all settings the gift icon or product foto of the gift does not show up on shop or single product page. But the gift get added to the cart and is also visible to the checkout form. So it is something wrong with the implementation. I use the popular non-customized Hello theme on the staging as test environment. No cache issue. Any solution for this?
Third. Nowhere is mentioned what added features are in the PRO version.

Right as you said, currently gift product shows price as 0 for both admin and customer Gift products are fully visible on the store, we only set default to hidden for store gift packs, you can choose to show it on the product settings page. To the second. You misunderstood me I assume here. It was already set to show up in single product site but it doesn’t. In other words your switch has no effect.

Yeah, so the issue with product gift not showing up is a bug and you don’t care? No other way to understand it otherwise… Obviously not the best pre-sale support response in my eyes. To be clear. You demo showing gift products in the single product page underneath the short description/buy button. This is not working here on default setup with the Hello theme //Edit2: Now it is not working on your demo site either

1. In the Hello theme’s default setup, the product gift does not appear. Which Hello theme is being used? Please let us know. For further discussion, get in touch with us via our support forum.
2. On our demo, it doesn’t work. Could you demonstrate how the plugin isn’t operating properly? As I saw on our demo, it’s working perfectly fine.

Yes, it is possible to win 2 gifts in that case.
However, if you want to increase the quantity and include respective gifts, this feature is not available.

I found a bug… can you replicate this: create a variation product, and on this variation you set the regular price and the sale price. Create a gift pack and use this variation. Now make a product and add this gift pack to make that variation a free product. You will see that this show free on the checkout, but the price sum with the gift product. So if the gift product is $5 on the checkout we have the price of the product + $5 from the gift product. This is just because the variation have sale price.

We followed and tested your case:
1. Create a variable product with the regular + sale price.
2. Create a gift pack and assign this variable product.
3. Create a new simple product and assign the variation gift pack.
4. Purchase this simple product and checkout, the result is the total price does not include this free gift pack.

Can I add the quantity rule for giving the gift?
e.g. there is no gift if user adds 1 or 2 quantity of ‘Product A’ to the cart. But if user adds 3 quantity of ‘Product A’ to the cart, he qualifies for ‘Gift Pack 1’. If user adds 5 quantity of ‘Product A’ to the cart, he qualifies for ‘Gift Pack 2’ etc.

Sorry, this feature is not available in our plugin, we will consider a feature that allows offering gifts based on the quantity rule of one selected item in the cart. Currently, only the rule of the number of items in the cart is available.

1) Is it necessary to add the “gift” product as my woocommerce product first? I mean I want to give two products as gift (say Product A1 and Product A2) when user purchases Product X. But I don’t want to display those two products (A1 and A2) in my products list anywhere on my woocommerce website. Is it possible?
2) Is it possible to give the discount coupon on another woocommerce website as a free gift? Usecase – I have two woo stores on two different domains. When user purchases one product from my Woo Site1, it should generate a discount coupon on my woo Site2 and send that as a Free gift to the buyer on Site1

Yes, free gifts can be displayed on the cart/checkout page; customers can also change the gift if the product is variable.
You can use this plugin to create a free gift for each simple and variable product, or you can offer gifts in specific situations based on global rules that meet your selling strategies. Customers will always see the first type of gift when purchasing the product that offers the gift. For the second type, the gift will appear on the cart/checkout page only if their cart meets the criteria you specify.
