Great App! I have a presale question… will there be an Android version? I know its in Swift and admin could be tricky but I want to resel this to a client but they want both IOS and Android version. Also is there food menu categories and sub categories?
Hi, thanks for your feedback, we’re sorry but we’re only iOS developers. Cheers!
Does this app support push notifications? And is it possible to make some custom adjustments
Hi, it doesn’t support Push Notifications yet, we’re thinking to add them on a next update via Parse Push (which means you as the admin will be able to send some push notifications via Parse website).
You can customize it as you wish, from the layout to the code.Cheers!
Recently i am looking for iOS developer for customize apps.
If you are interested please reply me.
Hi, please contact us by our profile’s contact form and we’ll get back to you asap. Cheers!
I see you added push notifications. Will my client have to use parse site or is there a whitelabel backend? I’d like to see of demo of what my client’s experience would be. Thanks
Hi, yes, the admin of the app must use the Parse site to send push notification texts, as shown in this screenshot: http://s17.postimg.org/fnv4e6hbj/Screen_Shot_2015_10_27_at_14_05_31.png
He just has to login into his Parse app via hsi browser, enter the Push tab, click on Send a Push and scroll down to the message box to type his message and send it to everyone who installed the app (and of course accepted to receive Push notifications on their devices).Cheers!
How much you would charge to customize it for an school and add a calendar?
Hi, well, a school is different than a restaurant so we should know all the features you need for it. Anyway, for customization requests please contact us by our profile’s contact form and we’ll get back to you asap. Cheers!
Thanks for the reply, I would leave the template as it is right now, but just add a calendar for school events days and customize the colors.
Does it support categories and sub categories?
If yes I buy!
Hi, the Menu class has name and description fields, no subcategories. Cheers!
Great app – Please can i run it on the iPad and can be add the images and prices update throw admin panel or online,
Please advise me
Hi, yes, you can run the Admin app either on iPad, iPhone real devices or both Simulators. Cheers!
it is possible to remove the menu “reservation”. Then, I can forget PARSE? Can I Use the app without PARSE?
Yes, you can remove the Reservation controller and its swift file, but you still need Parse to run the Client and Admin apps. Cheers!
Okay. Or it is possible to edit content in Xcode and publish the app with the edit’s on AppStore as a update?
Yes, but you will have to remove all the code relative to Parse queries and update the code with your static info (texts on text views and labels, for example).
Can you add menu detail page soon, its really missing for this great app?
Hi, we’re sorry but have no time to add such feature right now, we’re pretty busy with other projects to complete, but thanks for your suggestion. Cheers!
Is gallery add/edit/delete missing in Admin?
also menu does only has 1 images, can you change that to have at least 3 images?
Hi, we’ll leave the Menu items with a picture only, 3 is too much work to do for a template with such a cheap price
Gallery editor is currently not present in the Admin app, we’ll add something for it once we’ll be free.Cheers!
Can you send me the database demo with images to import it to Parse?
my email is iscode <at> hotmail.com
Hi, sorry, but iRestaurant doesn’t have a gallery for the restaurant, like myHotel app template, so that’s why there’s no Galley editor in the Admin app, because there’s no gallery images into the Client app as well
Its better if you answer under the correct question to less the confusion
But you are wrong about this!
iRestaurant has gallery on front page under social icons!
At least you should know this as the AUTHOR.
yes, you’re right, sorry, another person replied to your comment and got confused with myHotel. What we’re going to do on the next days is to add a Gallery editor in the Admin app, since it’s necessary. Cheers!
So back to my question
Can you send me the database demo files with images to import it to Parse?
my email is iscode <at> hotmail.com
Ok, we will send you the json file for the Gallery class
Ok thanks for the Gallery class files but
I was really asking for all theclasses for iRestaurant db files so I can import and create it in Parse
correctly like Menu class, Event class and etc. including images
we’ll reply to your email, cheers.
In admin app I can add and edit menu and event item
but I can not delete items, its missing but very important feature
like for the gallery!
Can you fix this soon please?
I found the delete feature
exactly, we were going to reply you about it, just swipe cells left to delete items. We’ve submitted an update with Gallery editor 2 days ago, hopefully Envato will publish it soon
Just said it, the update has been approved right now, check your Downloads page
Will you be coming up with android version?
no, sorry, we’re only iOS developers. Cheers!
Hello, I might have missed it, but I don’t see any video demo of the app? Thanks
Hi, there’s no video preview of this app, we’ll upload it soon, but you can check the screenshots meanwhile, they show all features.
Given the current state of Parse.com, can you make a CloudKit supported version? Maybe with a PHP admin page? Although much of the primary admin operations could be done using the CloudKit dashboard.
Hi, this template already uses CloudKit, please read its description
Sorry – was getting this confused with another restaurant template.
How hard is it to remove the one signal.com dependency? CloudKit can send notifications using subscriptions which can even be pushed silently if required. I also would like to know if you have any plan to build an ordering/delivery function into the restaurant app?
We’re not able to send push notifications via CloudKit. We have no plans about ordering feature at the present.
Can I presume that the license will allow me to rewrite the components to make use of CloudKit? If so, could you give me some idea of how deeply integrated the onesignal.com functionality is embedded? If everything is basically a single class called from one controller then I’d classify that as low impact (higher integration would reflect a higher level of work). I appreciate your taking the time to reply on this as I like the look and feel of the template otherwise.
OneSignal code is only in the AppDelegate, the User Giide explains the simple steps of creating an AppID and configuring your account on OneSignal.com. Anyway if you don’t want to use OneSignal easy console to send general push notifications, you can still edit the code of this template as you wish. Cheers!
Hi, I am getting 2 issues:
1. OneSignal/OneSignal.h file not found
2. Failed to import Bridging header …iRestaurant.Header.h
I just want to play with this app and explore, before do something searious, but these 2 issues fail the app to be build.
Please let me know what should I do. Thanks
Have you changed the project folder name? the Bridging header path should be iRestaurant/Header.h, not with the dot as you wrote above, check it out on Build Settings tab -> search for “bridging header”
I didn’t change the folder’s name. header is correct.
I am getting these error, image uploaded here: http://imgur.com/DahXSP1
ok, so please now go into Build Settings tab in Xcode, use the search text field and search for “bridging header”, then take a screenshot of your screen, lastly please contact us by our profile’s contact form and send us the link to that screenshot so we’ll get back to you with a solution
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
Why buy with Envato
