is this on swift 2?

Hello,

No, it’s written with Objective-C.

Regards, dmbTEAM

Ok. I think you should update your details as the project say Swift. Thanks

It says that its compatible with swift, not that it’s written with Swift. When you see the Included files field, you will see that only objective-c files are included.

oh its not swift !? app like that need it with swift anyway great app

Hello,

Yes it’s not Swift and we have reason for that. Our previous app for iOS, which iOS Recipe App was created with Swift, but the experience which we had and still having is that this language isn’t stable enough (for the moment) and even Apple is constantly changing it, which caused us a lot of troubles. We will rely on Swift, once Apple stabilize it.

Last but not least, thanks for the nice words.

Will this work on iOS 9?

Hello,

Yes, it will work with iOS 9. By the time, we’ve been developing the app, the iOS 9 was available for the developers and we’ve adapted the app for iOS 9.

after we save the location. can we navigate back to it with google map or maps or in the same app?

Hello,

You get the route directly drawn within the app. There is no turn-by-turn navigation integrated inside the app.

Regards, dmbTEAM

thanks

Supports Ipad? Having Ads? Supports ios 9 ? We need it without ads can you give?

Hello,

1. There is no specific version for iPad, but the app can be run on iPad.

2. Yes, there are Ads – iAd Framework is implemented.

3. Yes, it supports iOS 9.

4. All customers that have Extended License have access to Ads free version.

Nice idea and good implementation.

hi, your app come with any UI controller file, which make integration with Admob possible

Hello,

Please explain whether the app is working fine or it crashes somewhere while functioning? Or it’s working fine, but this is an informative located within the console.

hi, apple rejected my app with following messages, appreciate you could help to fix it and release a new version

From Apple 2.2 – Apps that exhibit bugs will be rejected 4.1 – Apps that do not notify and obtain user consent before collecting, transmitting, or using location data will be rejected 4.1 Details

We noticed that your app does not request and obtain the user’s consent prior to accessing their location data, which is not allowed on the App Store.

We’ve attached screenshot(s) for your reference.

Next Steps

Please revise your app to add the consent prompt for accessing the user’s location data and to ensure the features are still functional if the user initially opts out.

2.2 Details

We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on iPhone running iOS 9.1 on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

Specifically, the map does not display even when the location has been turned on.

The steps to reproduce are:

1. Launch app 2. No map appears 3. Check that locations are turned on in Settings 4. Map still does not display

Hello,

We are sorry to hear that, but I think that you’ve modified the source code, because on start the app asks the user to allow his location to be used. See screenshot: Simulator Screen Shot Dec 5, 2015, 11 19 28

Plus, you can see that the Map is loaded straightaway in the background and the bug, which has been reported by Apple, can’t be reproduced with the original source files. Please make sure that you didn’t change something crucial, which caused the reported issues.

If I purchase, can I change the few developer name things and then submit it??? Is it ready to be submitted??

Hello,

When you make the purchase you can change whatever you want, because in fact you will get all of the source files. It’s fully functional app, so you can submit it.

Regards, dmbTEAM

I downloaded the apk file for andriod version it is not as its described

Hello,

What do you mean it’s not as its described? Both apps are absolutely identical by features – only the platform is different and this brings some specifics to each of them. But overall, they are the same.

Hi there,

I found an error in the script. Check the image. Could you tell me whats wrong here?

if ([v isKindOfClass:[KxMenuView class]] && [v respondsToSelector:@selector(dismissMenu:)]) { [v performSelector:@selector(dismissMenu:) withObject:@(YES)];

It says: Undeclared selector ’’dismissMenu’‘

I haven’t changed anything. Xcode just gives this warning.

Kind Regards, Keno

Hello,

Warning is something different than ERROR. I mean, the warnings are not errors and they can’t prevent you from building the app. If you get Build Successful, there is no need for worries.

Hi! Nice app! Is it possible to share location? Thanks

Hello,

I am afraid that you can’t share locations.

Regards, dmbTEAM

hi, can i open this app with swift (i know is made in objective c). what soft editor i need to change and publish to the ios store? thanks

Hello,

Swift is a programming language and is not an executable program or software. So there is no term like “open it with swift”.

Nevertheless, it’s written with objective-c you can upload the app to AppStore. There is no limitation to publish objective-c apps.

hi, does it work in any country if i travel to Indonesia by example ?

and is it easy to change the color and logo ?

Hello,

It uses Google Maps, so it should work everywhere in the world. Yes, it is easy to change the color and logo.

Regards, dmbTEAM

Hi there. I have just downloaded this source code, and when I run it and go to save a location it crashes with the following error…..[MobileAssetError:29] Unable to copy asset information from https://mesu.apple.com/assets/ for asset type com.apple.MobileAsset.TextInput.SpellChecker

Hello,

Contact us via the contact form in our profile page – we will continue the communication there…I believe we will find the cause of the problems.

Hi there. I have contacted you on your profile page, but have heard nothing back as yet.

Hello,

You already got answer.

Why this message appears when the router to a saved location? Can I edit it?

“Directions Not Available A route to the nearest road cannot be determined.

Hello,

This message comes from Apple Maps. Currently, you can’t translate it, but we will add this to our to-do list and will try to add it to the translations file(s).

Hello,

I am afraid it’s not easy :)

Where can I change the top bar green color to something else? e.g. light blue

Hello,

Open the BackToLocation/Misc/BTLColors.m and inside look for the following code snippet:

+ (UIColor *)tintGreen {
    return colorWithHexString(@"#FF840C");
}

Just change the #FF840C hex color to the desired one.

Apple wrote me > Missing Push Notification Entitlement – Your app includes an API for Apple’s Push Notification service HOW TO REMOVE IT I DONT NEED IT?

this are the whole story…

We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "CF2". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:

This app attempts to access privacy-sensitive data without a usage description. The app’s Info.plist must contain an NSCalendarsUsageDescription key with a string value explaining to the user how the app uses this data.

Though you are not required to fix the following issues, we wanted to make you aware of them:

Missing Push Notification Entitlement – Your app includes an API for Apple’s Push Notification service, but the aps-environment entitlement is missing from the app’s signature. To resolve this, make sure your App ID is enabled for push notification in the Provisioning Portal. Then, sign your app with a distribution provisioning profile that includes the aps-environment entitlement. This will create the correct signature, and you can resubmit your app. See “Provisioning and Development” in the Local and Push Notification Programming Guide for more information. If your app does not use the Apple Push Notification service, no action is required. You may remove the API from future submissions to stop this warning. If you use a third-party framework, you may need to contact the developer for information on removing the API.

Once the required corrections have been made, you can then redeliver the corrected binary.

Regards,

The App Store team

Q1: I think there is already some message where pop up Q2: Still not able after I dit exactly the same steps like in the description video How easy its just to remove the notification part in the code?

Thx so much

Thomas

Hello,

1) The app is not using Calendar’s sensitive data. It uses only the gps location and a dialog is presented to the user to allow the access.

2) Push Notifications: I’ve prepared a video demo how to remove OneSignal library: https://youtu.be/lZKVaqq98YQ

Generally speaking, I advise you to stay with the Push Notifications, because it is a very useful feature…
