Can I call the plugin from a PHP page, sending the URL from the social networks from there?

Hello business_ideas,

Thank you for your interest in InstaLink!

Please, accept my apologies for the delay in replying. To call a plugin fro a PHP page, you need to use the do_shortcode function. Here’s an article that will explain this in greater detail: https://elfsight.com/help/what-are-wordpress-shortcodes-and-how-do-i-use-them/ .

To pass a parameter, you need to add a corresponding attribute to the shortcode. Here’s an example of what it will look like: [instalink id=”1” username=”YOUR_USERNAME”]

So, when you’re calling this code from PHP, this is how it should look:

<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[instalink id=”1” username=”’ . $instagram_username . ’”]’); ?>

You will find the complete list of shortcode attributes in the plugin’s documentation.

Beautiful Instagram plugin, I love how there’s a panel showing the no. of posts and followers etc, and it has a very Facebook-ish type of look which is great as social proof. Support is awesome and friendly, couldn’t ask for more!

Hello, Pre sale question Will your plugin support to hide some of my site menus and display it for logged in users only or I have to use some other plugin along with your plugin Please advice

Hello jabali,

Thank yoг for your interest in InstaLink! Unfortunately, our plugin doesn’t support this functionality, so you will have to find another plugin that allows you to do this and insert InstaLink inside that plugin. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience!
