Very nice plugin, can I use it to so something like this page:

http://makeover.house/retro-modern-living-decor-ideas-styleboard/

Will it speed up the page loading time? Thank you

Jenn

Hello,

thank you so much, yes you can do that like on our demo page: http://www.shindiristudio.com/imgmapper_jquery/ Also you can choose your custom pin and setting. Loading time depends on many factors such as: size of images, hosting speed…

Hi guys,

Is it possible to use polygon areas instead of circle areas?

Hello,

Yes you can do that if you insert custom pin with transparent background in png. format. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us.

Bought this item about six ago, plugin still not working well (pins content not displaying), not getting answers from the support anymore.

I had to edit the plugin myself to make it “kind of” work and deliver to my client that was expecting his website in time…

disapointed

Hello, I’ve done everything very well, I have a question

When I choose the option “LINK” for icons a new window “_blank” opens.

How I can do to be “_self” ?, I need the link opens in the same window.

Thanks and regards,

Hi,

After setting Your pins, and make sure that You set the links and the default click option of the pin to “Link”. This is the first step. Next You have to log in to Your FTP account, and navigate to Your plugin js. Find js > frontend > jquery.image_mapper.js

Open up this file, (make sure You make a backup first for security reasons), and find the line 1163, change the existing code to: window.open(link,’_self’);

So you have to add the ‘_self’ expression to the link. This will make Your link open in the same window.

We hope we could be of service, have a nice day!

Hi there, I’m wondering about buying this module to place it on the front page of PrestaShop instead slider. For tests, I implemented your site demo code to check conflicts and I noticed that the script causes unknown error (500). Will you be able to help implement this script to the prestashop after my purchase?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest. You can contact office@shindiristudio.com, to inform yourself of our fees for implementation or customization, because it is not free.

Thank you

Pre sales question…I’m use to working with image maps where I use my graphic software to find the x and y coordinates of the images. I noticed you use top and left in %. Is the x and y the same as the percentage you use for coordinates?

Hi,

We do not quite understand what you actually mean The pins are showing on the page in relation to background picture and a coordinate grid that is in the background.

Hi,

Is it possible to have a front-end to allow user to drap and drop pin by themselves on the map? And after, save it in the database?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can be the text of the pin taken from a php query to a database?

Hi,

Unfortunately with the basic setup of the plugin it can not be done.

This is a feature that you would have to custom code your self.

Hi, do you have Joomla version?

Hello,

No we do not have a version for Joomla for iMapper.

Best of luck,

Hi, I’m just wondering a few things: - your demo page shows only one responsive example (top image), but the ‘pins’ (plus) does not rescale when resizing the screen. Because responsive design is extremely important, I’m wondering if the plugin fully supports it. - Is it possible to replace the pins with a div containing custom content? I would like to use it for a website where a div with overlapping images and text is placed on a specific area of the underlying image

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry for the late respond, we need to update the Demo page with the latest jQuery version of our plugin.

Resposnive should be working just fine.

You can custom code whatever you like, after you have the licence.

Is it possible to add a word next to the pins? I’d like to add a unique location name to each “hotspot”.

Hi,

Please contact our support forum via email directly: support@shindiristudio.com

or via our support forum: support.shindiristudio.com

The idea of adding text above the pins is already present, its just a matter of the documentation and how to implement it.

The guys will be more than willing to help you.
