What is the difference between all apple and ios. Is all apple + mobile = ios ?
Can u please add exclude.
Ex: all country but Indonesia
Ex: all device but android
I don’t know if this possible but hope you try.
I’m using your plugin right nice work
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Some older Apple devices don’t have iOS, but run on iPhone OS and similar older operating systems (which were later rebranded to iOS). The All Apple category will include also these.
Regarding your country and device exclusion suggestions, I noted it, will add this in an upcoming update for the plugin.

Hi, Can i use this plugin for country redirect urls. Mean if i set aan url and when user from a certain country click then it will go to my desired url which i have setted in the plugin and also if its possible that i use a single url from my domain to redirect different country users to different urls ?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Yes, you can set up links for country specific redirection of users, to different destination URLs. Also yes, you can set up the same URL to be redirected to different destinations URLs for different countries.

Hello, thank you for this great script. I recently purchased it and i wonder if possible where to put multiple ip’s for rules? Is it possible to add multiple ips in the field? Is it possible to block a list of ip’s for certain rules? Also i want to ask about the “bot” feature. Are the bot identifiers updated ? and how it’s identifying the bots? Thank you
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
Adding multiple IP addresses in the rule settings was not possible, however, I updated the plugin to v2.5.1.2 and added this feature to it.
Also, yes, bot identifiers are updated every once in a while in the plugin. Bots are identified by their user agent strings.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Thank you very much for the quick response and update, but im feeling blocked because i cant seem to find a way to use the filter for a speicific page using both the ip list and/or device type. I tried to create duplicate links with different rules but in the end it’s overriding and it’s not working. It would be very usefull to create a rule for a page and to be able to filter it by multiple rules, for example if a user is from mobile or from the selected ip list then…redirect happens now it happens only with both are matching. Also tried to look in the dat file to see if i can set this but with no success. Can you tell me if in ip list i can enter ip ranges? Thank you so much. Hope that you can give me some answers to find a workaround for this.
Also a city filter would be great. i know that im asking alot but i have seen so many features on the script and thought that has city fitering.
Hello,
I noted your suggestion regarding city filtering, will think on it.
Regarding IP ranges, this is currently also not possible, but I noted your suggestion.
Regarding the creation of multiple redirect rules for the same page, I checked on this on my part and for me it worked without issues, even for different devices.
Please let me know exactly what you tried and what did not work for you, so i can check on this on my test server.
Regards.
Thank you for your response. It would be great and very valuable for the community to add those features. I will test it today again to see what is happening exactly. Hope that i will be able to use it for my needs
Great plugin, but why is there no option to mass delete automatically created redirects? Having to go through 100+ redirects manually is no fun.
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
Sorry for this inconvenience, currently this is not possible in the plugin, but I noted your suggestion, will add it in upcoming updates for the plugin.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Cool. Looking forward. Thanks a lot, and also for the quick response.
Sure. Glad be assist.
Having the same problem as https://coderevolution.ro/support/plugins/not-able-to-register-with-my-purchase-code/
You might wanna check what’s going on. Thanks!
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
This might be a communication issue between your server and my registration server.
Can you send me, please, temporary admin login credentials to your WordPress install, so I can check this issue out? Send it, please, to my email address: kisded@yahoo.com.
Please send me also your purchase code so I can check it and try to activate the plugin on your site.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Having the exact same problem again with another site. Any way I can fix this myself?
Hello,
I am sorry to hear that the issue is repeated.
In this case, please contact your hosting provider’s support and ask them if your site has firewall rules active which block access from your server to my license activation server located at this host: https://wpinitiate.com/
Please ask them to remove any connection limitations for this site.
Let me know if this helped.
Kind Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Hello, Considering someone is using VPN, is there a way to identify it and block anyone that connects to my website through VPN to hide its original location? Alternatively, Is there an option to use a Cookie settings so if someone connects to my website from specific country, he won’t be able to connact even through VPN because he already has a cookie that redirect him from his first visit? Another question, is there a future plan to block visitor by ISP? Last, can I set And or Or between terms in a rule line? Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Currently, detecting VPNs is not possible, however, I noted your suggestion, will think on how to implement it in upcoming plugin updates.
Also, the cookie idea is good, I also noted it, but currently it is not supported.
ISP blocking is also added now to the update ideas list of the plugin.
Regarding AND, OR between terms, currently, all rules have set as default the OR operator, will consider adding also the AND operator in future updates, noted this also.
Thank you for this list of ideas.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Hello, Thank you. I ould like to sugest one more thing if possible in the future. It will be great if you can allow a rotating/random rule of redirection, so the user will get any of the redirect Admin set and won’t be able to identify he is redirected to a same message or page and try to get arround the block.
Nice idea, also noted.
Regards.
Hello, Szabi. I read your blog https://coderevolution.ro and watch your YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/CodeRevolutionTV. You are a superman!
1. How can you completely mask external affiliate links WooCommerce from Google and Yandex? We plan to have a lot of external affiliate links WooCommerce. Is JavaScript redirection the best way? When using JavaScript redirection, do I need to add links to robots.txt? How do I do that? Tell me how to set it up and test it in a demo. We haven’t figured out how to automatically set up all the external affiliate links.
2. Does the https://tutortop.ru site example have a good link masking strategy? https://ibb.co/hsSRry9 Can you do the same as on this site? Can you suggest settings and try it in the demo?
3. What external link masking strategy do you use on your niche sites? We want the same as you, we need your expert advice.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
1. You can use External Affiliate Products in WooCommerce. Info here: https://learnwoo.com/add-woocommerce-affiliate-products/ However, automatically shortening the affiliate links is possible only if you have a plugin which can do this for you. I have some plugins which might help, they are able to add external affiliate products, like shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB6t4ZUw6Bw – these plugins support the usage of shorte.st for link shortening.
2. Yes, they have an internal redirection plugin or script, which stores links in database and create a short link for each redirection added.
3. You can check shorte.st, they also pay based on clicks you get. Use Payoneer when setting up your payout account, they have issues when paying to PayPal accounts.
I hope this info helps.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
1. We don’t need the shorte.st service, we’re asking about the plugin. How can you completely mask external affiliate links WooCommerce from search engines? We plan to have a lot of external affiliate links WooCommerce. Is JavaScript redirection the best way? Can Ikarus automatically redirect all affiliate links via Javascript? Can we buy it? When using JavaScript redirection, do I need to add links to robots.txt? How do I do that? Tell me how to set it up and test it in a demo. We haven’t figured out how to automatically set up all the external affiliate links.
2. Does the https://tutortop.ru site example have a good link masking strategy? https://ibb.co/hsSRry9 Can you do the same as on this site? Can we do the same with the Icarus plugin? Can you suggest settings and try it in the demo?
1. No, unfortunately this plugin cannot do this automatically, only manually.
2. Yes, they have a good strategy, however, this plugin cannot do this, sorry for this.
What you need would require a custom plugin built for you.
Regards.
I need some information before buying. Can I move one or more categories with their respective posts with this plugin? I would like to avoid doing a home redirect but at the same time move some categories.Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Currently the plugin is able to redirect URLs also based on Regex rules, which might be able to help you achieve what you mentioned.
This can be set up to redirect URLs from /categoryX/post123 to /categoryZ/post123
If this is what you wish to achieve, the plugin should be able to help.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Hello. I bought the plugin, some time ago, and was wondering how to redirect posts from specific categories.
I’ve seen that there is a category option on the plugin, but It’s a bit complicated to understand.
How would I go about sending, for example, a person that lands on a post from “Category A” to “link A”, and a person who lands on a post from, “Category B” to “link B”.
Thank you
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
This was not possible until now, but I updated the plugin to v2.5.1 and added this functionality.
Please add rule settings as following after the update:
URL -> /*
Redirect -> add your target URL where the redirection should go
*? -> checked (to enable pattern matches)
WordPress Post Category Slugs To Redirect -> here add a comma separated list of category slugs which should be redirected
Let me know if this update helped.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Hello and thanks for the quick response!
It did work, but only for 1 category.
So, for example:
URL -> /* Redirect -> Link A ? -> checked WordPress Category-> Category A
Works for Link A,
but adding a second rule, like:
URL -> / Redirect -> Link B *? -> checked WordPress Category-> Category B
Doesn’t work for link B.
Although, when I turn off the rule for A, the rule for B works, and the category B posts, get redirected.
Here’s a screenshot of the settings, in case my explanation is a bit sloppy:
https://imgur.com/tNAhCigEach link, has a category assigned to it (through settings) but only the top one works (unless it’s deactivated, in which case the following one works).
Could it be that I’m still doing something wrong? Does it work only for 1 category?
Thanks again
Thank you for notifying me of this issue, I fixed it in update v2.5.1.1.
Regards.
It works! That’s awesome. Thanks so much
I am glad to help.
If you like the plugin, please give it a rating, it is really appreciated.
Regards.
I have pre-sales question.
can we make conditional redirection i.e. if url exist then open it else try second pattern (www.website.com/Expired)/* if this nor exist then try Third URL (www.website.com/Expired2/*)
We have WordPress website with 6 million plus posts. we want to offload posts by shifting to new post type (EXPIRED) but it will change permalinks and we already given links at many places and Google already indexed old URLs. e.g.
URL A
https://tender84.com/tender/rendering-services-for-sewage-treatment-plants-and-water-supply-installations-of-hansa-vihar-area-un-2020-mes-381145-1/we want to offload these kind of posts so we need to redirect to another URL. /TENDER/ word will be replaced to /EXPIRED/ for all posts.
If URL A exists then it should open it else redirect user to URL B.
URL B
https://tender84.com/EXPIRED/rendering-services-for-sewage-treatment-plants-and-water-supply-installations-of-hansa-vihar-area-un-2020-mes-381145-1/can your plugin achieve this with your plugin?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Unfortunately, currently, this plugin is not able to detect if the link to where it makes the redirect exists or not. However, this is an interesting idea, I added it to my update ideas list for this plugin.

Time redirect: if I set this page will be redirected on 1st Oct, 12am, and I visit this page on 11am, do I need to refresh the page on 12am, or it will automatically redirect when the server time hit 12am without needing page refresh?
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
The page needs to be refreshed for the redirect to function.
I hope this answer helps.

Hi, I have a pre-sales question:
I have a WP website with WooCommerce Memberships installed. Access to restricted content is given to members. Sample url: https://tamiroos.com/sandcastles-membership-page/
My question is: Can your plugin REDIRECT users of type: customer BACK TO the restricted content page AFTER they login? So let’s say customer is looking at url above – it will say restricted. So they click button to go to WP login and when they login YOUR PLUGIN will REDIRECT them back to the page with restricted content?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Sorry, but this feature is not included in the plugin right now, it cannot redirect users back to the page from where they clicked the login link.

I am looking at your product for my need, All I require is an option to redirect a page to another page based on the user using a mobile or tablet. I have tried other redirect programs that work for say android but not reliable for IOS. Can this product handle this need I have? I have about 5 or 6 pages that need redirecting. Thankyou for your assistance.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Yes, this plugin should do what you wish to achieve. Please check it’s live demo site, here: http://wpinitiate.com/coderevolution/icarus-demo/
Also, please check it’s tutorial video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIDjKTgVvrI

Hello, I have now purchased the product, its main purpose is to redirect users to a different home page depending if they have a Mobile or Tablet. My problem is that I am unable to get the correct Syntax for the Defined Rules Manager for the URL. If I put in ”/home” in tthe rules which is the name of the home page it wont redirect when a user enters the domain name as the word ”/home” is not a part of the syntax, for example my domain name is www.exchangechurch.org.au which takes me to the home page automatically, but if I put in www.exchangechurch.org.au/home then the redirect option works fine. So what I am asking is how do I redirect a home page with the correct syntax for Defined Rules Manager URL when a user just places in the domain name of www.exchangechurch.org.au
I also have a secondary issue. Until I understand the correct syntax for the home page with my previous question I have been playing with the product to redirect from one page to another. This works fine, but I want to be able to redirect a page only if it is displayed on a Tablet or Mobile. I change the device filter to one of these and the page does not get redirected on my portable devices, I am using a Samsang Galaxy tab S tablet and a Samsung S10e mobile. I have disabled the cache program on my site and I have cleared out the cache on the devices each time I do a test, still no success. I then thought lets try just filtering on the OS, this worked for the Android Tablet with the Android setting but when using the Ipad setting it didnt work for the ipad. Why am I having so many issues when just applying a single filter for these devices with it not working? If I take the single filter out the redirect works for all devices option, but this is not what I want at all, I am seeking a method to redirect for both Android and Apple Tablets and phones to different pages. Supper appreciate any assistance you can give for both my posts I have submitted.
Hello,
Thank you for your purchase.
To redirect your main page in this case, you should create 2 different redirection rules:
1st should redirect from / to the redirect page you wish to lead visitors
2nd should redirect from /home to the redirect page
Let me know if this helped.
Regards.
Regarding the second issue, can you send me temp admin login credentials to the site where you set up the plugin, so I can check it? My email is kisded@yahoo.com
Regards.
I want to redirect member role to page A on login and page B on logout, I want to redirect customer role to page C on login and page D on logout, can this do that?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
The plugin can redirect users on login and logout, but it cannot redirect them based on user roles. So, unfortunately what you wish to achieve cannot be done in this plugin right now.

nginx support ?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Yes, the plugin supports nginx.

Is it possible to add links to the play & app store according to the OS? for example domain.com/download?utm_medium=test and then it will redirect to the play store if you are in android or app store if you are in iOS and ofc to pass the UTM tags too so you can measure the sources
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me.
Yes, this is possible, you can set different redirect links for the same URL, twice, depending on the OS of the visitor of your website. They will be redirected in function of their OS, to different links.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
OK great! But is it possible to pass GET paramters? UTM tags for google analytics
Yes, GET URL parameters will work.
As I saw in your video, is it possible to set static referrer source (in your example www.facebook.com). I mean that I have this link: 1. mydomain.com/download?utm_source=Google 2. mydomain.com/download?utm_source=Facebook
it will refeffer Android users to: 1. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.activision.callofduty.shooter&hl=en&utm_source=Google 2. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.activision.callofduty.shooter&hl=en&utm_source=Facebook
iOS users to: 1. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/call-of-duty-mobile/id1287282214?utm_source=Google 2. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/call-of-duty-mobile/id1287282214?utm_source=Facebook
and with the rest UTM tags (not only the source as the example)
Sorry, I need to change the GET paramter for example:
1. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/call-of-duty-mobile/id1287282214?cn=Google 2. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/call-of-duty-mobile/id1287282214?cn=Facebook
Only a single referrer can be set in plugin settings, for all redirect rules. This cannot be different for multiple redirects.
Hello I am using /* to redirect all posts however I do not want pages redirected how do I accomplish this?
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your purchase.
In the current version of the plugin, you can set a list of URLs that will not be redirected. You can set this in the ‘Don’t Redirect This List Of URLs (One Per Line)’ settings field, in the redirection rule advanced settings, from the plugin.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
Thank you for the quick reply. Where can I find Dont Redirect This List?
Don’t Redirect This List Of URLs where is this on the settings page
I found it sorry
Thank you for the support
I am happy to help.
when user reset the forget password & again login is it possible to redirect custom theme profile urls. not subscriber word press profile ?
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, the plugin cannot differentiate between normal logins and logins that were made after the user reset he’s password, so I don’t think that this is possible.
Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.
ok thanks. if any recommended plug ins pls let me know
Thanks
I am not aware of a plugin that can do this, but I will look around. If i find something, I will let you know.
Regards.
oky. thank you
Hi, your plugin works with multisite right? It is appearing in network tab, but why the changes that I made not apply for all sites? I need activate the plugin in each site and configure each site manually? Thanks!
Hello,
Yes, the plugin works with multisite, and yes, each site must be configured separately.
