Can I hide name of css files in source code? Not only folders name?

Hi, yes you can. You’ll need to make use of “replace urls” option under Replace Tools tab. More info regarding the replacement here – https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827

Plugin hide WordPress wp-admin URL and redirect it to 404 page. But i want to redirect untrusted user to home page when they try to visit wp-admin. How?

Hi, in HMWP there’s no option to specify redirect for /wp-admin
Do you want all of the 404 pages to be redirected to homepage or just /wp-admin ?

Does this work on multi sites? i have singel server with different cpanels

Hi, yes it is compatible with WP multisite on Apache server. WP multisite on Nginx server is not supported yet.

Hi,

I was using the plug-in all ok till now but when I try to preview any page while I am editing, I am receiving the below message. If I disable the Hide my WP plugin the message disappears. Could you advise..?

Apache log: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary.

Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

The most common causes of this problem are errors in the app’s .htaccess file or incorrect file or directory permissions preventing the web server from reading the .htaccess file.

Detailed information about this error is available in the app’s Apache error log at:

Hello. Why if I checked the options hide login and admin pages, it hides the wp-admin but not the default wp-login.php?

Before it was working correctly but I disabled this option and enabled it again and now this is what it’s happening.

Do you know why? I cleared cache and tried different browsers and still showing wp-login.php even also re-saved again permalinks options.

Any idea? Thanks!

Hi, it should be working fine. Can you please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it in our support forum support.wpwave.com as private reply?

Hi. I don’t see the option of posting it as a private reply? How should I do it?

Ok, I saw it, it has to be a reply and not a new topic. I will just reply one of my old posts. Thanks.

Hi, can HMWP hide version information of used plugins in source code of website? Thanks a lot!

Hi, do you mean the version info in the plugin’s main PHP page, like in /wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/hide-my-wp.php ?

I mean this (see image) please.

Yes, you can remove/rename such text and comments added by plugins and themes.

I am using the “WP Fastest Cache” plugin.

Is it OK to use it with “hide my wp”?

Please recommend the cache plugin.

Hi, HMWP is compatible with WP Fastest Cache. Also it’s compatible with other cache plugins like Wp supercache, W3TC, etc.

General settings > “Hide Login Page” I checked on.

After logging out,

When I try to connect, it is connected. Why does not the 404 page appear?

https://www.domain.com/wp-login.php

Hi, I’d like to know… When I buy this plugin I’ll be able to use in two, or three websites? Or no just one. And is there a license to activate the plugin?

Hi, it’s one license one website. Hence you’ll need separate license for each of the websites. Yes, you’ll need to enter the License code in plugin’s settings page.

I checked it.

“Hide wp-login.php. [Important: You need to remember new address to login!]”

But

After view source in browser,

Why does “new address” appear in the login / logout address of the main menu of my homepage?

“Hide Login Page” is to prevent direct access to /wp-login.php
It then can only be accessed with /wp-login.php?Login_Query=Admin_Login_Key”

“Change Login URL” is for renaming wp-login.php, so that you can login with something like www.yourdomain.com/login/

Is it really replace the ‘wp-login.php’ file in ftp? Should I backup original wp-login.php in ftp?

No, it won’t change anything physically. So, you don’t need to backup any of the files/folder.

1. If I have write “test” in the “Change Login URL”, What should I write in the “New wp-admin Path”?

2. If I typed “test” in the “New wp-admin Path”, What should I add to “wp-config.php”?

1) “Change Login URL” is to rename wp-login.php, and “New wp-admin Path”is for renaming wp-admin

2) The values for “Change Login URL” and “New wp-admin Path” should be different. Here’s video tutorial for renaming wp-admin – http://support.wpwave.com/videos/change-wp-admin-to-myadmin

When I roll over the mouse in the Login or Logout menu,

At the bottom of Crome browser,

Admin URL on my site is open to everyone.

Hi, rename wp-login.php via “Change Login URL” option as mentioned above.

Hi, after installing and setup hide my WP my css style broke. What is the solution?

Hi, it’s most probably htaccess issue. Can you please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it in the support forum (support.wpwave.com) as private reply.

Hi!

Could you explain what these options exactly do?

Clean up body classes * Clean up menu classes * Clean up post classes *

Thanks :-)

Hi,

Does it support Elementor and Revolution Slider?

Also, does it support WPML plugin? Thanks.

Hi, yes, it supports the above mentioned plugins.

I changed “Change Login URL = test”
https://imgur.com/S56b86H

Mouse rollover on top menu “logout”, Anyone can know the admin path.
https://imgur.com/rx42rSw

I also completed the path to “New wp-admin Path *”.

But, Everyone can connects to admin with ”/test”.

If members know the logout address, they know the admin address.

They will attempt indiscriminate hacking.

Actually, the logout path should also be renamed if you have renamed wp-login.php via “Change Login URL”.

Please create a support request at support.wpwave.com so that we can look into the issue further.

If I go to “support.wpwave.com”, is there a solution?
