I adding the gallery to my site and selected the magnifier overlay but when I go to the page the magnifier overlay does not work. Do you know what could be causing the issue?
thanks for your question. Maybe your theme influences the gallery. If you send me a link via email I could take a closer look.
I just can’t get PhotoSwipe Lightbox to work because when I click an image it links to the image itself :cry Although when I select “Link To” None option it removes the redirect, but PhotoSwipe Lightbox doesn’t work of course.
Thanks for your question. I sent you an email about it.
Hi, I need to know if this plugin create photo albums.
thanks for your question. I don’t know what exactly do you expect if you say “photo albums”. Can you describe what do you mean? Or can you show me any example?
You can take a look at the examples page. Maybe this could answer your question: https://wandls.net/products/gridzy-wp/examples/
just a little word to tell you I like very much your extension (even if I use only Custom Galleries because I don’t understand how the Default one works :)) so I just published a tutorial in french : https://youtu.be/4jP2zWHuOwM
Hope my clients will buy more licences for their websites!
Have a nice day !
thanks a lot for publishing that awesome tutorial in french. Unfortunately your link don’t work because of some strange invisible characters at the end, but I could find it anyway. Here is the working link https://youtu.be/4jP2zWHuOwM
That’s really great like it very much.
I also made tutorials about a month ago. But I didn’t shared it very much until now. I should .. There are also two tutorials about default galleries. You can find them here:
thanks again and best regards,
Ha, thanks for your tutorials, now I know how to use the default galleries
Have a nice day
That’s great Have a nice day too
Hi. Fantastic porfolio look. Pre-sale question: does it include filter for categories? Thanks.
thanks for your interest. The plugin itself doesn’t provide filters or categories.
Hi, i need a plugin where i set a shortcode in one page and there charge all my gallerys to view them and access to the gallery that i want to access, so that i don’t need to change/create a page to add the new gallery.
Is this possible with your plugin? do you have any demo to see?
thanks for your question. You can set Gridzy as layout for all your default wordpress galleries. But Gridzy don’t provide an overview of all your galleries, if that’s what you mean. You can look at the tutorials at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ9F7Tul6dXcldW8Iu1VFGw to see the basic functionality of Gridzy.
Hope I could help. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Hi! please tell me how to do new uploaded photos show up first? thank you
thank you for your purchase and this question. You can always change the order of your images via drag & drop in your admin panel. There is no automatism to insert images automatically into Gridzy galleries or to order them.
Hope I could help. If you have any other questsions, please let me know.
but it’s very uncomfortable! If you have more than 20 pictures, more and more inconvenient and a very long time to drag them upstairs! Please help how to display new photos first! Thank you.
Hi!! Everything is working well… but for a single image i dont have the photoswipe lightbox. So when i install another plugin for lightbox, the gallery open 2 times.. so how can i get the photoswipe for your plugin and the single images?
thanks for your purchase and your question. There is no way to use the build in photoswipe for other images outside Gridzy. You can only put the single image into an own gallery. A gallery with only this single image. Or you can use the other lightbox for all the images and turn photoswipe off.
Hope I could help. If you have any other questions, just get in touch.
Hi, love the plugin. Is there a way to only show x amount and then have a ‘Show more’ which loads another x amount batch, as I could have a gallery with 50 images and have a section below that and want to be able to go straight to the section without having to scroll and scroll
thanks for your question. Unfortunately there is no way to do that with this plugin. The most similar way would be a link after a small gallery which takes you to an other page where is a large gallery.
Hi, I found this plugin which does what I want, but I don’t like the way the masonry doesn’t do the same way as your plugin does.
Mind having a look when you have a chance? I’ll have a look myself and see what I can do, but might be a bit complicated to do.
If you have any other questions, just keep in touch.
Okay, cheers for the reply. I’ve just made my own class to extend some functionality, but do most of the front end lifting, like the ajax loading and whatnot. I’ll try and have a go at pushing the new items onto the Gridzy tree, but I have to separate it quite a bit to make it work.
alright, much success!
I am trying to install the plugin but it shows the fatal error:
Warning: require_once(DIR/classes/GridzyMain.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in .../wp-content/plugins/gridzy/gridzy.php on line 23
How can I fix this?
thanks for your purchase.
it seams the plugin isn’t correct installed. Please remove the plugin completely and try to install it again.
If that don’t help, please try to install it manually: unzip the zip-file and upload the “gridzy” directory with all its content into the following wordpress directory “wp-content/plugins”. Afterwards you should see the plugin in your wordpress admin panel and should be able to activate the plugin.
Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
I did it few times both ways(through wordpress installer & ftp), but when I try to activate it, it still shows the same error.
Warning: require_once(DIR/classes/GridzyMain.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …/wp-content/plugins/gridzy/gridzy.php on line 23
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘DIR/classes/GridzyMain.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in …/wp-content/plugins/gridzy/gridzy.php on line 23
Oh, I think I figured it out, it is my php version. Mine is 5.2.9 and I need at least 5.3
But thank you for reply!
great that you could figure it out. Yes php 5.3 is needed. Maybe I should place a hint anywhere. Thanks to share your solution.
