“Responsive layout always fits your content area”

There is a problem though, if you resize the screen the grid is not updated. Bind window.resize to your update method :)

Thank you for the feedback! We will be working on fixing this. The change log at the bottom of the product page will be updated with fixes and new releases. This may not be a major oversight, but important to future/current buyers nonetheless. Cheers!

Can you please show the example with various types of content In particular video from YouTube and Vimeo

Thanks good luck

Thank you for your interest in the Griddler plugin. A video example has been added to the “live demo” page. It should be the second item in the grid. The rollover animation should read “Full video and iframe support”. This is a Vimeo example, however a Youtube implementation is nearly identical and is covered fully in the download’s documentation. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who has purchased the Griddler jQuery Plugin. We are correctly working on a new update. This update will include cross browser bug fixes as well as a more responsive layout. The update will be FREE to current owners.

Hello! first of all congrats for the great work! i have a doubt, i would like to know if it is possible to ad arrows to navigate through the pinctures in the gallery, instead that close one image and open the other one! Here it is the gallery! Thanks in advance!

Hello Luis, thank you for your purchase. While it is possible to add this feature in a future release, it is not currently supported in this version of the Griddler plugin. There is no doubt it would be a useful feature and hopefully will be included in the next release. Thanks again for your purchase!

Thanks for the response! When do you plan to make the next release?

A fair estimate would be within the next couple of months. Please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions.

I looked over a lot of plugins. I like this one a lot. It is pretty easy to implement, and the example is very good. It integrated in very nicely with Dreamweaver (CC). Kudos!

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the Griddler plugin. Please be sure to rate it and thank you again for purchasing!

I too would like to see some navigation in the lightbox, keyboard control and swipe for mobile devices. Otherwise a neat gallery!

Thank you for purchasing the Griddler plugin and thank you for the great feedback. The topic of lightbox navigation has been mentioned previously and I will strongly consider adding it into the next release. Be on the lookout for a new release – it will be free to those customers who have purchased the plugin!

Is there a way to change the number of grid columns for mobile screens? For example I’d like 4 columns on large screens and 2 on mobile sizes

Currently there is not the option to reorder the grid layout inside the plugin. Please email me at and I will provide guidance on how you might achieve this with additional JS.

Thanks for the answer. Would it work by using 2 galleries, each with a 2 column layout, inside a responsive div layout. So the wrapper divs stack for mobile sizes?

Currently Griddler doesn’t support multiple galleries on the same page. So using the method above wouldn’t be effective. While the gallery width is responsive, the layout within the wrapper is not. Supporting multiple galleries is a great suggestion for an upcoming release. I will look into it. Thank you for the feedback!

I’m thnking of buying this for a project I’ve got coming up for a client in the next couple of days. I was hoping you could help me before I make my purchase.

Pre-Sales questions:

1. Is this plugin compatible with any video player (specifically JW Player), or do you feel that it can be made to accommodate another player?

2. It’s my understanding that you don’t HAVE to use that featured (larger) image correct? We can just have 4 columns (or more/less) of same-size images?

3. Does the responsive version (when viewed on a phone) stack the images on top of another, or is it still a grid view? (we’re hoping more for an image stack honestly)

Nic, Sorry for the late response. The plugin supports Vimeo and Youtube player support, but doesn’t support JW Player specifically. You are not required to use the lightbox (larger image). You can link the thumbnails (grid images) to whatever you would like. You could easily modify the existing stylesheet to include a media query to force the images to stack at whatever browser width you deem appropriate.

Please let me know if you have any further questions and thank you for your interest!

There is now a version that supports multiple galleries on the same page?, Thanks

Hello Alfonso, Currently only one instance of the gallery is available. Changing the plugin such that multiple Griddler galleries can be invoked will be included in the next release. Development has been slower than anticipated, but there will be another release coming. Please let me know if you have any further questions or comments, and thank you for purchasing the Griddler plugin!

This looks pretty similar to what my client wants their site to do. Can the grid image link to a window that contains HTML content with a ‘read more’ link in it, rather than an image? If so, this would be perfect.

Please advise asap – thanks, Carol

Hi Carol, and thank you for enquiring about the Griddler plugin. If I’m understanding your question, this should be quite simple with little work needed on your end. You would simply create an HTML doc with your desired markup and CSS, host the page and then reference the appropriate URL in your anchor tag, with class of “iframe” and that should do it! Please let me now if you have any further questions.
