Hi there

I am having an issue with some leads not coming through to the CRM, could you take a further look please?

Thanks

Hello! Thank you for your choice!

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please enable logging (you will find a checkbox at the stage where indicated `API token`), wait for the problem to reproduce again, or reproduce it yourself by sending the form (if you can reproduce it) and provide the log file.

Thanks!

Hey,

I have been using this plugin for a while now with a client of mine. Some form entries do not enter copper. I am wondering if you can assist in anyway… My support has ended but any assistance is greatly appreciated…

Hello! Thanks for your request!

Please download and install the latest version, the ability to log is added to it. After installation, enable the “Enable logging” checkbox in the first step of setting up integration – where you specified `API token`.

After the situation repeats, please provide a log file, as well as some information about what data was sent in the form, but did not fall into Copper, so that I could more easily identify the sending in the log file.

Thanks!

How do you get new sources that you’ve added to :Copper to show up in the “Sources” dropdown in the ProsperWorks CRM section?

We’ve added new sources in the admin side of :Copper, but they aren’t showing up as available sources within the “Sources” dropdown in WP. Here’s what we’ve tried so far: Waited a couple days to see if it took a while for the API to sync, Cleared WP caches, Disabled and re-enabled your integration plugin, looked in the :Copper admin to see if there was a way to force the API to reload data (you can only delete the API key within :Copper).

Nevermind – got it! Going to where the API key was entered and saving settings again worked!

Hello! Thank you for reporting that everything worked out!

Yes, sorry, the process of resetting the cache is a bit explicit. In fact, the plugin does this automatically once a day, and yes everything is correct, you can reset it initially simply by re-saving the settings.

I will think about making this process more explicit.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Hi, Added to gravity forms and set it up. Test Leads not coming into Copper. I have activation key in, Personal Email and API Key, and configured it on a form. Is there a log to show what is happening? Thx

Hello! Thank you for your choice!

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please provide screenshots of the field settings.

Thanks!

Hey again! I’ve been seeing some really inconsistent results with this plugin, sometimes a person is created and sometimes not. Most often, they are not created.. However the company is created every time. Occasionally on the failures I’ll get a 500 error in Chrome DevTools.

Have you seen this behavior before or do you know of some troubleshooting methods to try out?

Hello! Thank you for your request!

Hmm… It’s a bit strange. Well, let’s go in steps and first solve the problem with a 500 error.

Please turn on `WP_DEBUG` and `WP_DEBUG_LOG`, make a test form submission with reproduce 500 error and send me a log file.

Information on constants – https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG The log file will appear in the folder `wp-content`.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help—sadly, there’s nothing related in the debug log. It’s odd because the company is created, but the person (usually) is not. I think maybe 1 out of 10 tests have completed successfully. What else can I try?

Update—I think I’ve figured out the issue. We had a custom field in Copper setup as a dropdown. Their API requires you to send the id of the choice, rather than the text value .. So for a dropdown of “industry”, for example, instead of sending “Marketing” you have to send it’s ID (123456 or whatever)

The annoying thing is you have to really hunt to find these field IDs.. I had to do an API lookup using Postman to find them.

But once I set the values on Gravity Form’s dropdown to 123456 instead of “Marketing”, it worked fine.

Maybe minimally there could be a note in your documentation on this as a help for folks who run into this in the future? I also wonder if there’d be a way for the IDs to be displayed on the screen when you’re setting up the field mapping in your plugin? Just some thoughts. Thanks for your help!!

Hello! I just purchased this plugin, but every time I enable it and add it to a form, after I submit I get a few seconds of “spinner” and then a 500 error gets recorded in Chrome console. If I disable the Copper add-on, the form submits properly. Any ideas of what to try? This is a multi-site installation, not sure if that matters.

Hello! Sorry for the wait – the weekend.

You may have already tried the update. Yes, you are right, if you check the checkbox, then when `person` is found (by phone / mail), its information will be updated without creating a new `person`.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Awesome! This is a great bit of extra functionality. Nicely done! However, if I can suggest one thing.. I don’t believe you’d want to check if the user exists by phone number, as that’s not a unique identifier in Copper. (More than one person could have the same phone number). I’d leave the check to just email only, and if they exist then update. I wouldn’t check on phone number at all.

Either way, this is really slick. Thanks for all of the help!

Hello! Thanks for the feedback!

Oh, sorry, it seemed like a good idea to me.

No problem – instead of a checkbox, I made a list with a choice of 6 options: “do not update – search by mail”, “do not update – search by phone”, “do not update – search by mail / phone”, “update – search by mail”, “update – search by phone” and “update – search by mail / phone”. Now everyone can choose the appropriate option. :)

Please download the latest version.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

How do I manage custom fields with copper plugin? I really need help asap. rlacorte@outlook.com

I hope I understand you correctly.

Already added support – populate the value of the select and multiselect field from the form field. Please download the latest version.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

I am running Version 1.2.0. I will email you details now.

Many thanks for your email!

I answered you.

I purchased this plugin and would like to use this plugin on 4 websites. I used it on 1 website but I cannot register the plugin on any other websites. Please help. Thanks, Mark

Hello! Thank you for your choice!

Unfortunately, one license allows you to use the plugin on one site. If you want to use the plugin on several sites, you need to buy a plugin for each site.

One license (purchase code) – one end product. https://codecanyon.net/licenses/terms/regular

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Pre-purchase question:

Does this work with their new system since they’ve been bought out by Google and are now named COPPER?

Also, if we purchase and it does not work, are we available for a refund?

Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your interest!

Yes, of course, the plug-in will work. The system did not change in any way, only the name (Specially checked right now).

But please note that API is not available at tariff `Basic`, so the plug-in will not work at tariff `Basic`.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Do you mean Gravity Forms Basic Plan or Copper Basic Plan?

Hello! Thank you for your question!

I mean Copper Basic Plan.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
