Interesting, but does not work with IE.
Error line 300 in geophoto.js
Sorry about this, but can’t seem to reproduce the error, does the error also happens on the provided example file?
Your video script functions now.
But, there is a new error for photo script:
Error line 330 in geophoto.js character 5.
Sorry for the late reply.
I was able to track down a problem with IE that is probably causing the issue you described.
A fix will be uploaded in next few hours.
I’m now waiting for it to be approved.
Thank you for noticing it.
It is with the link of demo on Codecanyon.
Your video version also does not function (link on Codecanyon).
There’s a new version that prevents similar errors in IE.
Hi is it possible to change the map like this? http://www.interviewproject.de/videos i need it to be the same so locations in white with black outline?
Happy to pay for develoment if needed as i have a tight deadline!
If anyone can do the above would love to get a quote as very keen to purchase this plugin! And have a very tight deadline! Didn’t know where else to ask!
Nice, worked in Opera… tried on firefox and its not having it. On Opera I decline the geolocation and it loaded the map up anyway, on Firefox the map doesn’t load at all. Any ideas?
(referring to the demo)
You are right. Didn’t noticed that before.
In firefox if the user declines geolocation permissions the map doesn’t load.
This a bug, I will push a fix for this ASAP .
Thanks for the heads up.
I’ve published fixes for the firefox issue, they should approved in a day or so.
Now I’m going to fix the demo website.
It appears to be fixed on my end. Good job.
is it possible to open the “original photo” with prettyphoto?
Yes I believe you can.
The library exposes a callback function photoOpenCallback, that is triggered whenever a pin in the map is clicked.
If you provide that function, the built-in lightbox is disabled. That callback function receives the image info (including URL ) as a parameter, and you can pass that to prettyphoto.
Let me know if you have questions or if there is anything I can help.
Great looking script
1. Can I set some parameters so that only photos from MY picasa album show up, excluding pics from other picasa users?
2. If I purchase the video version of this script of yours, both vids and pics will show on one map, or I need to place two maps, one for pics and the other form vids?
No need to have two maps, both will show up on the same map.
Let me know if you have any further questions, or if I can help in anyway.
Great to hear that!
The script shows photos with geotags, correct?
Can I make it show up geotagged points of albums instrad, and clicking the point displays photos/vids in slideshow like the demo?
Also, I was tring to find my photo that is uploaded, geotagged, and its status being public, but couldn’t find it on your map…. are you excluding some users in that demo, or is there some things I need to do in picasa for it to show up?
Yes, that is correct we show public geotagged photos. But we don’t show them all. On the demo just the first 20 or so returned from the API .
So, if you want to see your photo, the best option is to zoom in as much as possible to the location and search for a keyword used in the image.
Regarding your other question, currently the script doesn’t support albums.
Just purchased and installed it on my website.
Was really excited but didn’t work with my site, and did some investigation and found that it doesn’t work with mootools.jp for some reason?
Do you have a quick fix for this?
I really want to use your script on my site, so please let me know if you have a solution…
Btw, here is the URL to the website I am trying to install your script.
When I take out the following line at 264, it works fine, so it has got to be the moo tools, correct?
I’m checking it, will get back to you.
I just uploaded a patch that fixes the compatibility issue you experienced with MooTools.
It’s still being reviewed by codecanyon, it should be available for download in a few hours (I think).
If you need it earlier, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much for the fix!!
I got your email and uploaded the mootools compatible version and it works great!
But, now that I changed the API to the following, it hangs up on me…
Also, when I set geolocation: false, I still get popup message asking whether I need to accept geolocation.
I don’t want to show that popup to my visitors, so how do I disable it?
Please see the email I sent you regarding the issues described.
The URLs are correct, in short, not all the photos in your album were geo-tagged, this caused the script to fail.
I’ve uploaded a fix for this (v1.5) and I sent you an email with the new version.
Just to let you know that V1.6 has been published, it supports Picasa/Google+ Albums.
Using V9 of IE – the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ buttons don’t seem to allow me to change the photos.
Thank you for the heads up. Currently working on a fix.
It’s fixed now.
