Hi Rik – I sent you an email yesterday. I purchased the non-Wordpress version of your calendar but a developer told me that I can’t use it with Magento – is that right? He said you can’t have jquery on Magento – have you any experience with this or know if it has been done??? Thanks!!

Hi,

I don’t have any experience with Magento, but I believe it should be possible if you load the required js/css files. Don’t know how to do that though. A quick Google search will probably get you an answer, and also help you with loading the jQuery library.

Best regards, Rik

Hi Rik…I sent you an email yesterday. I cannot get the XML to work on this calendar. I sent you the necessary files to look at. Please let me know ASAP

Hi,

There was an error in your XML file. I’ve answered you via email.

Hi, very nice script! Does this work with google cal oauth? It seems like a lot of calendar scripts were cutoff by google when they switched to oauth. I need to access a private calendar and display in php. Wondering if yours would work for this. Thank you!

Hi,

It does not use oauth, but you can still use the “secret” private calendar link for this script so a private calendar would work.

Hi mate,

I tried the solution you posted here: http://codecanyon.net/comments/7959711

But it’s not worked for me. Can you please advise if this is still a valid solution to make this work with iCloud calendar?

Just put:

$extern = true;

And remove all the other code on that line.

Best regards, Rik

Thanks again Rik.

Does this require a specific version of PHP or web server software to run? I’m having no joy.

No should work on any server. Can you email me ftp details so I can have a look at it?

Hi, if I have more than one Event for one day I have to click to see alle Events. Is it possible to have the list open when the site load?

Hi,

This is not an option unfortunately.

Hi is it possible to auto-refresh the calendar on an interval without reloading the example.php page? I enabled caching and lowered the cache_time, but this does not reload the calendar…

Hi,

No sorry, you’ll have to reload the entire page. If you reload and the cache time has passed, it will delete the cache and check the source for updates. The calendar cannot be updated using javascript.

Thnx for the feedback. Okay, I tried just reloading just the container div, which works a 3 consecutive times, then starts throwing errors regarding datepicker in the console log. Would this be possible to get working, or no?

Hi,

Sorry but the calendar cannot be updated using javascript since it’ll have to re-initialise some JS. So you’re getting JS errors because some elements have disappeared or are not initialised. Unless you’re willing to modify a lot of the JS, reloading the page is the only solution.

Hi Rik, the event calendar on my site www.goberson.com stopped showing events. Did check the private ical link and that seems ok. I’ll be happy to renew support if we can get it working again. Cheers, Mark

Hi,

I’m afraid I cannot check what the problem is without having the ical link you’re using to get the events.

Best regards, Rik

Just bought the calendar and liking it. A few questions 1) when i add images to events within Google calendar, is it possible to make them appear in the event list (perhaps as thumbnail next to the date or as image within the description)? 2) when assigning colors to the events in Google Calendar, can these colors be translated to the event list (perhaps as background color behind the date?)

any ideas?
