Hello, first congrats i loved this Gallery and i loved all the code that was very good organized with comments.
So my question is have anyway that i can put the information you know the image with (i) that appear website|email … any way that i can put a information in any image? like each image with a different information?
Well Thank you very much.
Do you mean you’d like to pre-populate the contact form with a link to the current image? If so, that would require some adjustments to the script. I could probably help you with that on a freelance basis. Feel free to contact me from my profile page if you’d like a quote for the work.
Yes i want know if i can put one contact form for each image that appears in the page and i want know too if i can do this way and if i can put one contact form to each folder with category that i have.
Thank you very much.
Same thing. The contact form is meant to be a standalone widget that stays the same through the gallery experience. If you need it to pre-populate a message or submit to a different url based on a specific category and/or image, some advanced custom work would need to be done to the script.
Very nice and neat. Really diggin’ the soundtrack that you have playing on the demo… is that a clip that’s available on audiojack?
Yes it can be purchased here:
thanks for 411!
Awesome work on the plugin, we’ve combinated it with Bootstrap as the structure, works pretty good.
I’ve got two questions:
1. The slider navigation is wrapped up in the cj-footer, and that bad boy has a very clever, adapting inline style=”left:..px;” which aligns it in the middle of the page. The problem is that I want the navigation to be on the right side of the page, under my caption, but my js knowlegde is not good enough to get it to move around??
2. Since I developed it with Bootstrap ‘on top’ of the galleryJack, the (invisible but present and needed) rows of the Bootstrap are sometimes laying over the caption and slider nav which makes it unclickable.. When I raise the z-index, the whole slider gets on top of my main menu etc. Is there a way to just raise the z-index of the div.cj-image-info and the slidernav?
I hope you can help us out!
Thanks in advance,
Jochem and Danny
Hi Jochem and Danny,
Inside the file “js/cj-galleryjack-core.js”, search for:
and then delete the two instances where you find it.
For your Twitter Bootstrap, you’ll probably need to set whatever content that is to inline-block in order to ensure that it doesn’t take up more canvas space than it should.
Is there a way to stop hashing? I would rather not allow the user to navigate the slideshow using the back button.
I don’t find that anywhere in the help files. Could you please explain it with a little more detail because I don’t understand where to make that change. var bgSettings?
Wait. I think you’re referring to the wrong Slideshow. I purchased
‘GalleryJack – jQuery Full BG Image Gallery’ so I only have an index.html file. And I find nothing about cjDeepLinkMode in the index file. There is some confusion here.
You’re mistaken. The cjDeepLinkMode is for the ‘GalleryJack Rebooted’ image gallery; I have ‘GalleryJack’ which I’m assuming is the original version. (I didn’t know there was a newer version when I purchased this). Regardless, could you please provide support for the correct version?
My apologies. All my item comments are combined and I got confused. Deep-linking is required for this version.
Looks like a really clean gallery. Unfortunately, when viewing on my smartphone (Android) gallery is not optimized . That’s too bad since most of my clients view their images on the phone…
Hopefully we will see an optimized version soon.
Just made an update to improve mobile compatibility. Should be live on CodeCanyon shortly. Until then, feel free to email me from my profile page if you need the update sooner.
Good clean product, thank you.
Is there a way to autoplay photos not just first gallery,
but all others? (Continue play photos on second gallery, when first gallery is ended).
Right now it plays first/current gallery in circle.
This option isn’t built-in but it’s an easy adjustment to the script. Send me an email from my profile page and I’ll send you back a modified script.
Hello i’m here again.
So i have a question i don’t know if you can teach me how to fix that or if you can update the gallery fixing this little problem that i didn’t like.
So when i access the gallery i see all the images very nice but when i want go back to my website clicking in the google chrome Go Back button instead of going back to my website start to show all the images that i clicked like if i click in image number 16 i need to press go back 16 times to go back to my home page.
So if you can tell me how can i fix that your release a new update will be very cool.
Thank you have a nice day.
This gallery is dependent on deep-linking. I might be able to change this for you on a freelance basis, or you could use the 2nd version of the gallery where deep-linking is optional.
I have some questions about your gallery. Is it possible to include the galleries in a wordpress website ? I want to use this gallery to create some sketch-books for my travels Like these ones :
Do you use the flash technology for the galleries ? I don’t want to use the Flash technology to offer the possibility to watch it on an Ipad.
My last question is about the intégration of vidéos in the gallery… Is it possible ?
Thanks by advance for your answer !!
The only thing Flash is used for in the gallery is for the music player’s HTML5 fallback for browsers that don’t support HTML5 Audio such as IE8.
The gallery wasn’t built for WordPress, but anything can be added to a WordPress site. But depending on your experience you might need a freelancer to help.
Videos aren’t supported in this gallery but they are supported in version 2.
Hey thanks CodingJack for your very fast answer !!
I took a look to the version 2. The version with video is very good.
Is it possible to have the design of the version 1 (with numbers) or to hide the list of pictures in the second version ?
For the Flash use only for IE8 it’s perfect. I will can instal it in wordpress with single pages I think…
The only thing the two versions have in common really is that they’re both fullscreen galleries. They don’t share any CSS styles, so the 2nd version would need quite a bit of customization in order to look like the first.
thanks for your answers. I will take the 2nd version with video support and deep navigation.
Is there any chance we can preview the JS settings?
Sure, here they are:
Hi. How can i disable crop ? it doesn’t matter if image will not be 100% fullscreen. Thanks.
In the beginning of the category, choose “cj-fit” as one of the class names, so it looks something like this:
This gallery looks really nice!!! Thank you for your creation.
I was wondering if it is possible to make the transition slower and smoother. I think it’d look good with slower music too.
Yes you can make the transition slower by increasing the value for the setting named “transitionTime” inside the “js/cj-galleryjack-settings.js” file.
hmm…i cannot find that file you mention
I can only find bg-slideshow.js, is there an updated version?
Sorry about that. I was referencing version 2 of the gallery by mistake. The transition time can be changed in version by by editing the “js/bg-slideshow.js” file, on line #51. The variable is called “time”, and is currently set to “750”.
I would like to know how to adjust the speed of how long a pic is displayed. Right now I tried to make changes on the html and js file as follows:
transitionDelay: 6000 and time = 600. Both of these effects the transition speed. So back to the topic, I would like to know how to adjust the speed of how long a pic is displayed.
Would you please let me know if this is available?
the “transitionDelay” is the delay between how long the current image is displayed and the next one loads in. It’s defined inside the html file, in the “bgSettings” section.
