One piece of advice that I’m asking from you is on changing the skin to a darker theme.
Our one team member, Julius is as blind as a bat and the poor guy is totally lost because some of the elements in the light skins are totally unreadable to him.
I told him to buy a bigger magnifying glass, but he says that his problem is not the size of the content but the color contrast.

This is a great looking plugin. The demo worked out very well on my site, and I upgraded to the paid version. The upgrade process ended up being complicated due to a versioning error with the software on Code Canyon, but the author quickly resolved that issue and was very responsive.
I subsequently had a conflict with a third party tool, and the author correctly identified the source of the conflict, allowing me to fix the issue.
Finally I discovered a third issue, perhaps only found in this latest version of his software, and the author was initially quite responsive, but then it seems he or she slowly lost interest in helping.
I went so far as to provide extensive documentation on clean wordpress installations on multiple hosting platforms showing that the issue was reproducible, but the last reply I got from the author was “We have thousands of customers, and none of them have this issue.” Of course, only a few at that time would have been on the new version and the screencasts clearly show how the issue occurs and the code involved in the bug.
I’ve tried following up within their support system, but it’s been over two weeks now with no reply. Hopefully they’ve just been busy on a new release and haven’t had time to get back to me, but until they do, I can’t endorse this software, no matter how great it seemed when I demoed it.

So I don’t know that it’s valid to suggest that nobody else has had this issue – perhaps they all just took the refund offer and moved on. Your product is otherwise so perfect that I’m willing to put my time into finding a solution.

Essentially, if the associated postbox is rendered with a class of “postbox closed” we’re left without any way to re-open it because the titlebox goes away.
I suspect on our very first install I had closed the custom code content box before upgrading, and the new code (that was introduced during the fix) is causing our “custom code content’ postbox title to disappear. Once that titlebar is gone, the only way to make the postbox show up again is by editing the code using chrome inspector to change the postbox status as seen at the very end of the video link above.

I suppose if I were really skilled I could find the database value where the postbox status is set and flip it manually, and just then never again be able to edit the display status of the ‘custom code content’ titlebar / postbox.
If this is happening for other users, they probably don’t notice it since the content box is still functional when the Postbox value is not set to closed, it just displays without the title bar and people might not ever realize there is missing functionality.
I’m not really interested in a refund, I’d prefer the software work correctly, and have shown a willingness to assist you in resolving the problem by putting considerable time into trying to identify the source of the issue.
We’ve disabled all plugins and themes, setup fresh installations, and introduced the software into 3 separate hosting environments to help isolate the issue and to see if it was purely an issue on our end.
Part of the support process you’ve committed to here at code canyon is:

Assistance with reported bugs and issues
Help with included 3rd party assets
That support extends for 6 months. I don’t see “Offer a refund if the reported bug is environmental and only showing up on one server” – despite the fact that I’ve used several hosting environments and the problem persists.
I did find you to be available to answer questions during the initial issues we had, noted that you were quite responsive and prompt with fixes to the versioning issue, and also commented that you helped identify an unrelated 3rd party issue.
I would ask that you give us (and this issue) one more bite at the apple, and am willing to actively participate in that process to help resolve this reported bug.

Just to provide closure here, I was able to identify the source of the issue, which was connected to V1.1.9 of the Freshface Custom Code plugin.
Although I had to locate this and identify the solution myself, it appears that this issue was extremely rare, quite possibly only happening for me.
While I was disappointed in the support that I got on this particular issue, the other support I received was great and the plugin itself is exceptional.
I recommend the plugin and will continue to use it in the future.
Hello, just three questions. If I add several posts with type CSS (external), are all posts combinate to one CSS file or do the plugin create on external file for each CSS post? If I write additional LESS code, are CSS and LESS combinate to one CSS file? Is the external CSS file minified? Thanks.

2.) The inputs could be saved as external (in wp-content/uploads) dir, or could be printed in header / footer. The external inputs could also be included in header / footer, depends on your choice

PRESALE QUESTION: I need a solution that will allow me to fetch get variables from the uri, perform a switch statement and then echo or print the results into the page. From what I can see I can limit the code to run on a certain page which is good and I can put whatever code I want. My Question is, how do I output to a specific area with a page or post. Is this done via custom shortcodes that I declare in the code, if so do you have any documentation on how that is done. Thanks
Firstly let me thank you for your question. The output of the code at specific area is not possible. The PHP code is run on hook “after_setup_theme” or “setup_theme”, and it only depends on you, what PHP code you insert here. Also PHP code cannot be limited with conditional logic.

Add 2 new data columns to code list view:
a. code type (css|JS|PHP|etc)
b. load (foot|head)
That way it’s easy to find the script you need to work on when you have many listed.

Suggestion for future version:
The default state for all code you load in the plugin is:
+ Enabled and active, and
Upon SAVE, this instantly adds weight and load time and there is no easy way to disable or ‘park’ code for later use.
It is reasonable to want to load libraries etc in preparation for later use and/or want to keep multiples of code libraries (to switch on/off) for testing etc
But you can’t as all code is active.
Could you add a checkbox for script ACTIVE/INACTIVE (enabled/disabled)?
If inactive the code is ignored regardless of conditions assigned.
At the moment I am using the condition “If year is 2013 run this script” which is a year in the past and therefore deactivates the script.
But it is clunky and stuffs up the correct conditions you want to have for the code when it is running.

So, the Cutom Code Logic section was not working properly. The dynamic filtering (ajax calls) are not working. But I discovered that the problem was some folder permissions on my server.
My IIS locked the write functionality on wp-content/uploads, I fixed that and is working fine.

Our server was down due to hosting provider blackout. It should be allright now
On a multi-site setup and with the latest version of Visual Composer installed .. the visual composer ‘BackeEnd Editor’ button seems to stop the custom css editor from working.
There doesn’t seem to be an option to turn Visual Composer off for the Fresh Custom Code post types as they are not showing up in the Visual Composer Role Manager window.
Is this a known issue?

Most probably the installation was not complete. Please try to delete the plugin and upload it again, this should solve your issues.

Thank you & sorry, the login still isn’t working, so I have to write down my question here: I used the Custom Code plugin on a staging site and went live recently, and now I can’t edit the existing files or create a new one. It seems like I simply can’t type in the editor’s field – when the page loads, I briefly see what I typed before (or I see the empty edit field), but then it turns into light gray type, and the former edits are gone. The site itself (http://tekne-retreats-ibiza.com/) is incredibly slow, and I think the plugin might cause that. I would be happy to delete and reinstall the plugin if I could retrieve the files I already created. Any idea on what to do?
