Hi there. This plugin looks awesome. I have some pre-sale questions tho:

1. Does it support iframe? 2. Can i place the button on specific/selected pages/url´s? (i dont want a universal button on all my pages)

Best regards, Dennis.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest! Regarding your concern, you can add iframe as content but I cannot guarantee that the size of the iframe will fit perfectly if it’s bigger than the pop-up. And yes, there’s an option to add Post/Page IDs that you want the button to be visible. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Jeffrey

Pre sales question – I wondered if you could use this to generate a floating icon that can do a smooth scroll to top action?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Unfortunately, there’s no option for back to top action on the plugin as of the moment. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hi, i added the plugin to the page and in basic language its visible… but its also shown in all other languages aswell. I know that i cant add it into WPLM – but how can i deactivate it to be visible in english etc while using wpml?

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing Floatton! As of the moment the plugin doesn’t fully support WPML. If you can create a support ticket here : https://phpbits.net/contact/ with your websites link, I’ll be very happy to help you out on CSS code to hide the buttons on specific language. Thanks!

Jeffrey

Can this button be created and then as a shortcode and put it inside a page. I would really like to put my website registration form into this pop up? Also are their settings so that it does not come up if someone is logged in?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Unfortunately, there is no shortcode option for this plugin as of the moment but you can try this other plugin of mine : https://widget-options.com/modal-pop-up-and-sliding-widget-options/ which you can open via button. There’s also instruction on the settings area on how you can manually trigger the open action on a custom link button inside your page/content. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hi 1) it is possible and easy to add multiple actions to one floating icon? I mean once the visitors click the icons will expand. 2) Is it possible to add TAWK.to chat icon to it? You can find the icon here. https://dreambox.tw Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Unfortunately, there is no multiple floating icons when the button was clicked and tawk.to chat can be integrated like on your reference site. Please ask there support team how to. Thanks!

A. I wish there was a timed delay for it to appear. B. There seems to be an issue where it does not honor whether or not I want to display on a Mobile or not.

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing Floatton! Regarding your concern, there’s an option to hide buttons on Mobile. Please do create a ticket here : https://phpbits.net/contact and will be very happy to check your issues. Thanks!

Hi there,

I just purchased this and really want to replace the dash icon with a custom icon I created. Either PNG file or SVG. Is there a way to use CSS to customize the icon displayed?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing Floatton! Regarding your concern, the plugin only supports dashicons as of the moment. You can definitely use custom CSS code, can you please create a support ticket here : https://phpbits.net/contact and add the website and image link; and let see what I can do. Thanks!

Hi there

I am very interested in the Plugin, however I do have a question… Are you available for a small customization? Perhaps for hire

What I am looking for is to add about 5 questions as content in the floatton, then a button that when clicked removes those questions and reveals a contact form.

Please advise

Thanks you so much.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Unfortunately, plugin customisation is a different matter and I can’t offer you any as this moment. Thanks!

I want set up the visibility with category, but I couldn’t find it. Should I set all the IDs of post?

sorry, solved. set post type ID, not a post ID. right?

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing Floatton! Really glad that you’ve sorted it out. Thanks!

Hi

I love this plugin, looks awesome, just wondering. Im going to have a scroll feature that when scroll it snaps to next anchor point.

I want to use this for a info button, but when click the information button changes per ancor point as you scroll.

so if its a one page home page, and each section of the page is broke up like #Home #Features #About Me #Contactme

when i scroll to each section, but click on button for info, it changes info based on section?

Can this be done???

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Unfortunately, this on scroll based section feature is not available as of the moment. Thank you for the suggestion though.

How well does this work with Visual Composer?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, this is not a Visual Composer extension but it’s working side by side with any other plugins installed. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

hello

Does the plugin work for creating a floating contact us button (no window/no pop up) located on the center right of the screen and that redirects to the contact us page when clicked?

Also, I would need to choose the specific pages where it would be displayed.

thank you

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, you can use the button without any pop-up but there’s no option to reposition it to the center of the browser. And yes, you can display the button on specific Post IDs. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Cheers,
Jeffrey

Hi Jeffrey

I have a few pre-sales questions :-)

1) Can I center the button? I only see left/right on the demo.

2) I want to use it to get more comments on my posts. Can I select the button to only show on posts and pages, where comments are enabled? No reason to show it, if comments are closed/disabled for some reason.

3) I have “Subscribe to comments” on my blog. Will users also be able to select “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail.” in the popup comment field? If not; can I make a button that just scrolls down to the comment form?

4) I also have some pages (not classical posts) where comments are active. Will the plugin work with both posts and pages?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Here are the answers to your questions:

1. Unfortunately, there’s no option to center the button but you can set the left/right margin by percentage which helps you to centered it.

2. This is exactly how the plugin works. If you use it as ‘comment’ then it will only be shown on comment-enabled pages/posts.

3. If this checkbox is present on the comment form then it should be carried over on the pop-up comment form.

4. You’ll just have to check the Post Type on visibility option when creating the button.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Jeffrey

Hi.

Very interested in this but can you set the button to open another page upon click/tap rather than having it show a form or pop-up?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you very much for the plugin interest. Regarding your concern, yes you can set the button to custom link instead of pop-up contents and just add the url on the field provided. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Jeffrey

Hi, I’m using the plugin and I think it’s really great! I want the button on every page except one. I see I can use page IDs that I want it added to, but this will take me quite some time to add all the IDs and would mean remembering to do that every time I add a page. Are you able to advise me of some quick CSS code I can use in my theme stylesheet to hide the button on the particular page ID I don’t want it on? Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you very much for choosing Floatton and I’m really glad that you are loving the plugin features. Regarding your concern you can use the CSS code below and just change the page ID and the button ID :

body.page-id-5 .floatton-btn-24{ display: none; }

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Cheers,
Jeffrey

Brilliant! Worked perfectly, thanks so much :)

You are very welcome :) Cheers!
