man I love the effect of the mason grid and thumb presentation. Wish you will someday make a gallery like this for nextgen gallery
This does not work when used in conjunction with http://codecanyon.net/item/logos-showcase-multiuse-responsive-wp-plugin/4322745
Any ideas?
You need to activate them both and send me the link to your page so I can see if any errors are being thrown. nuvuscripts@gmail.com -Nolan
Please fix this for me. The site i gave you access to is really crazy now..
HELP PLS.
Like I stated in the last email – it will not work until you create a “cache” folder in your root directory. Also it looks like it will cause a conflict if you use it in the custom homepage sections setup by the theme since the theme is compiled them and causing the logo slider to be appended to the gallery items. Please respond via email – nuvuscripts@gmail.com when you have created the “cache” folder and given it 755 permissions. Thanks, -Nolan
Done.. Thanks!
Can this plugin be setup to work from Wordpress rather than Flickr? It is exactly what I am looking for but I do not wish to use Flickr
This is written to specifically handle flickr images. If I create a similar plugin for Wordpress images I will let you know. -Nolan
Hi! I just purchased FlickrShow but it’s not working. I’m getting the following error messages:
Warning: fopen(/7c696e971892836b02a44471e2222c7d.cache) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/nycdog/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-flickrshow/phpFlickr-3.1/phpFlickr.php on line 185

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/nycdog/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-flickrshow/phpFlickr-3.1/phpFlickr.php on line 187
My website is NYCDoggies.com
You need to add a folder in your root Wordpress directory called “cache” and give it 755 permissions. This is where the flickr images are cached on your server. This folder and folder permissions need to be manually added. -Nolan
Thx, I thought I added it. Is it possible to make the imgs open in the lightbox when clicked instead of clicking the + sign on the upper right of the img?
No sorry, that method would not allow for hover effects on touch devices. This is why I went with the + sign method for loading the image into the lightbox.
Hello! My root directory is public_html. I’ve created a cache folder there. I also have a cache folder in ‘wp-content’, which is in public_html. Can you kindly tell me the difference between those two cache folders?
Artur x
The cache folder in the root directory you add and give permissions to is the one used by the plugin. The cache folder in the wp-content is not used by the plugin.
I’ve got a massive problem – http://test.metall-fx.com/test-page/ I tried it on with a different theme – http://metall-fx.com/test-page/ but like you can see no luck. What am I doing wrong? I just typed in this code:
[flickrshow set_number=”72157639577387024” visible_at_start=”4” scale=”1.4” popout_speed=”1” image_size=”medium 640” larger_image_set=”3” larger_images_multiplier=”2” thumb_size=”custom” width=”18%” num_images=”9” margin=”3”]
I’m really puzzled. The flickrname for some reason didn’t work. My flikr website: http://www.flickr.com/photos/113874175@N06/sets/72157639577387024/

I need this quite urgently. my e-mail: a.sosnowski@hotmail.com Can you send me a file without social media or anything? Just naked images with kept focus option when hovered.
I sent an email. -Nolan
Hi, I am looking at purchasing FlickrShow 2, but I am concerned that the demo page at http://flickrshow.nrcstudios.info/flickrshow-demo/ doesn’t work properly on Safari.
Here is a screenshot.. I see a lot of bullets that are disrupting the display: http://i.imgur.com/KdjKKRD.pngCan you confirm if the plugin is cross-browser and cross-platform compatible?
Thanks Alex
The social icons are not compatible with Safari that is why the bullet points are showing. I have it written in the code to hide them in Safari and they do not show up in my Safari browser. What device are you using Safari on so I can investigate this?
I am on a MacBook Pro running OSX Mavericks, Safari 7.0.1. Thanks for investigating.
Sorry I can not give support for Mac. My testing environments are all running Windows.
Every time I insert the shortcode on my page, my website stops working and only comes back when I delete the plugin on ftp. Why? I’m using this theme: http://themeforest.net/item/horizonal-single-page-one-page-wordpress-theme/6791291
PS: Sorry for my bad english.
I do not know, please email me at nuvuscripts@gmail.com
Hi there! Great script. I have one problem on IE10 with it. Sometime some images don’t load !
can you please have a look ?
http://www.omerbraultinc.caImage load are aborted ! https://www.dropbox.com/s/zoq7ktp32go4jjm/Capture%20d%27%C3%A9cran%202014-04-08%2014.23.32.png
I cannot get it to not load on my end. Not sure if this added css could be the culprit –
url("data:image/svg+xml;utf8,<svg xmlns=\'http://www.w3.org/2000/svg\'><filter id=\'grayscale\'><feColorMatrix type=\'matrix\' values=\'0.3333 0.3333 0.3333 0 0 0.3333 0.3333 0.3333 0 0 0.3333 0.3333 0.3333 0 0 0 0 0 1 0\'/></filter></svg>#grayscale")Without reproducing the problem on my end I cannot be of much help troubleshooting. -Nolan
It don’t work more if i remove every grayscale effect.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xumfqrlv6789yzb/Capture%20d%27%C3%A9cran%202014-04-09%2009.14.09.pngIt only happen on IE10.
if i click “Show picture” it do load image :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hbfux0dzsy75cvw/Capture%20d%27%C3%A9cran%202014-04-09%2009.15.24.pngI’ve read every comment here and followed the instructions in the readme to a T but I get this error:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/**/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-flickrshow/flickrshow.php on line 267”
So I’m guessing this doesn’t work anymore.
It does work, there was an update for the plugin that fixes this error but it must not have taken via the codecanyon update process. Please email me at nuvuscripts@gmail.com and I will supply you with the latest files. Thanks, -Nolan
Since flickr does not use sets anymore, have you got an example of you you can specify an Album?
[flickrshow set_number="7928378810002" ]-Nolan
Before buy the plugin I have two question : Can i set the maximun number of images that i want to show? There is an option that allow you to see the image in a random way?
Thanks
1.Yes you can set how many images to show.
2. There is no “random” setting but there are interesting and relevance sot options:
date-posted-asc, date-posted-desc, date-taken-asc, date-taken-desc, interestingness-desc, interestingness-asc, and relevance
-Nolan
Can the animation be turned off so it is just a gallery?
This would require removing javascript code and css. -Nolan
