Is there a simple way to deactivate the search function so that we can have just choice based FAQs but without the search box? Or is this not an option at the moment?

the real-time search is based on FAQ titles + excerpt (for simple FAQs) + search helper attribute.

It searches for AT LEAST one occurrence among searched words

Hi, I’m talking about FAQ Revolution. All screenshots are for backend (the kitchen) Final product meaning frontend :)

Oh well, keeping a product on the website would mean having to care about a billion problems given by WooCommerce on a demo website :)

The plugin simply hooks in your product’s template. A new tab will be added and the FAQ block will be contained

Got this from Envato Elements.

I placed the shortcode on the page.

The FAQ is displayed for about one second and then completely disappears from the page.

I even DE-activated all the other plugins, and used a generic theme.

WP = 5.7.2

PHP = 7.3

I’m sorry but Elements doesn’t give you support entitlement. You shoulf purchase a normal license and open a ticket

There should be a possibility to import content through csv or so. It takes forever to propagate the website with meaningful content

FAQs are a normal custom post type, probably there’s some free tool letting you create posts through a CSV.

Different speech for questions-based FAQs, they must be created step by step in the plugin

Does it have: 1) Unlimited categories and subcategories? (subcategories are a must!) 2) Does it have a fast search feature? 3) Does it have the option to add tags? 4) Is it responsive? 5) Does it have premade Elementor add-on? 6) Do it have an option to add videos and images? 7) Does it support Font Awesome?

Yes, I did look at it. When I follow your example, it does not stay in the same page as yours does while you are answering the questions. Mine sends me to an empty page. It sends me to the Permalink underneath the title. Why?

Hi there, fan of your other plugins I have Grid , filters and Overlay!

I had a look at the demo and looks like you can have the FAQ start as a whole where you select the subject then topics (childs).

If I wanted 2 FAQ’s in that format on my website can I do that, I would want to show different subjects though for each FAQ.

The latest version of plugin doesn’t seem to work. When clicked on an faq it displays a white box instead of answer text. I’m using the version from envato elements.

It’s not a charity anyway – it was paid for support and updates. But cant get for what already was paid and what Envato and developers are guaranty. It’s not a charity, it’s a brigandage or even a racketeering for many pays for a 1 good. :(((

Yes, I performed a quite wide reseach about thrm and FAQs, implementing the best code I was able to wrap up.

Obviously it’s all up to Google to index you in that way (also basing on the site score)

That looks very interesting. I am looking for a modern and clear FAQ system that I can connect to a ticket system. This seems to be an interesting candidate.

Is it possible to implement a redirection if the correct answer was not found?

So “You didn’t find the right answer, click here to open a ticket”.

But I’d like to tie a one-time hash to the redirection to make sure that the support forum can only be visited once the FAQ has been used.

I would implement the hash etc. myself. I just want to know if this is possible to implement the redirection scenario?

Custom coding is no problem with the right hints.

Hi, sorry for complicated questions :D, but before buying need to clarify them: 1) Does your FAQ support WooCommerce Products tabs? 2) Does your plugin have a FAQs division to: a) global (for all places where FAQ shows), b) per-categories (posts/products categories FAQs); c) individual for each posts? 3) Is it possible to show not only search stroke, but some sticky FAQs + search?—If 1-2-3 not, do you plan to add a such functionality at nearest future?

Dont delay too much because for now there is really absent a modern and functional FAQ for WP… but it can be made by someone else… add this functionality and make a really best FAQ for WP! ;))

Hi as much as I like this plugin, I do have one small issue with it.

Currently the website I am building and using this plugin on requires me to use Keywords for the external links which is great. However I cannot link two different words with the same URL as the plugin won’t let me, as the plugin wants me to use another different URL.

Is there a way around this?

the link name is essential for External links and it must be unique in the list. Unfortunately there’s no solution to your question: you have to use a different name for each link

Hi. I can’t find a way to set the order of the faq posts. I can do its manually in every each item but the I have to do it in post every time. That’s not an option. In post list I can’t edit order and after istalling 4 different re-order plugin, no one can find the faq as a custom post. Which is the best way to order faq?

cool plugin (regarding the functionality), but can you please urgently refine your Translation attempts?

in your main php file, you define constants for the language key and Version I think and you try to call this constant in some files (not in all) and sometimes you use @fr_ml or FR_MR_KEY (that both don´t work).

In consideration of the wordpress Codex, you could do the Job easily by using just

, 'fr_ml'
behind your echo phrases and this would work very fine. I also tried the included english po/mo file with no success.

Cause I don´t habe a search and replace tool here, I did the changes one by ome with a result of around 290 translated (and working) phrases. If you like, I can send you the translated plugin via email (but I don´t know what you have changed since your last update)

As written in the documentation, the plugin already has its POT file in the languages folder. It has been created using POedit with the current setup.

The constant is simply a value passed to the __() wordpress function, but the handled value is fr_ml. Because of this it works
