Yes, you can just delete the existing one and upload the new one or just use the WordPress plugin -> Add new and upload the new plugin, It will ask you to override the new version

Can the tabs be closed by default when the page is loaded? And possibly closed for mobile only? This is the feature that’s missing in the Avada native tabs element.

As for closing the tabs only for mobile, it is not yet possible. I have added this to our roadmap and will surely look into this for future updates.

Pre Purchase: Can I get the mobile view for your tabs, will the tab content take the background of the tab title or one can set a different background.

The tab content background is a global setting for all the tabs content. However, if you’re looking to set different background for each tab content based on the tab color, you can do it with some sort of custom CSS as well.

I installed the plugin but dont see it anywhere on my site. I am using AVADA 7.4.2 version and it has no Fusion builder, it has now AVADA builder. The plugin is active and it shows in the “Avada builder add on elements list” too but I cant seem to find the option to get it to work in the elements. No Elements Tab option available, only the default avada tabs.

Is there a documentation anywhere? Likely I’m blind but I installed the plugin, it shows in the Avada Plugin page that it is installed and I can only find the settings within the WooCommerce product settings page. How do I create new tabs? Set the global settings,...? I’m using Avada 7.4.1

The Elegant Tabs for Avada does not have an option to create new tabs for WooCommerce. It just provides you an option to customize the styling. To add new tabs, you can use the Elegant Tabs element in your pages with advanced styling customization.

Does it allow to use avada builder to design tab content ?
Hi,
You can use the Avada shortcodes generator in the tab content editor or design your content outside the tabs and then just right-click on the element to copy its shortcode. Due to the limitations in API, it is not possible to add the builder interface into the tab content editor.

To add columns inside the tab content, you can generate the nested columns setup and copy the shortcode inside the tab content to get the desired layout in the tabs

Ok, I got it. It was deactivated in the elements and I activated it now. I have another question though. How do I add avada “containers” in the tabs? I mean I have created a saved container and then I want to use it in the tabs, is it possible?

They only changed the name of the plugin from Fusion Builder to Avada Builder and everything is remain the same. You can find the element in the elements list when you add a new element to the page. The element is named “Elegant Tabs”.

The container can’t be inserted into the tabs as it is the main container element that contains the tabs element itself. However, in case you need to add the multiple column layout inside the tabs, you can simply create a nested element and design your layout, then just right click on the nested element and copy. This will copy the nested element shortcode which you can paste into the tabs content area.

Oh, this is disappointing as the same is possible with simple Avada tabs as well.
I was planning to use it to enter multiple elements in the tabs as it was not possible with the default tabs. Though the tool you’ve made is great I may never use it as it seems to be missing the feature I need (not your fault though).
Can I get a refund for this plugin? As I am not going to use it.

The Elegant Tabs provide many design possibilities and features that the core Avada element doesn’t have. Since there’s no API available to use the drag and drop feature inside any element, is is quite not possible to provide inside any element except the nested columns.

Is it possible to use tabs vertically, and inside the vertical tabs add horizontal tabs too? (Tabs in Tabs) The stock tabs element does not work very well in this situation.

The nested tabs isnt’ possible with just the Elegant Tabs or the Core Fusion Builder tabs. However, you can make use of both the elements to create the nested tabs. So, you can use the vertical tabs with Elegant Tabs and put the Fusion Builder Core tabs inside the Elegant Tabs content.

Found it. Also works in the Fusion Builder version, but not only documented in the WPBakery version.
deep linking “This is the tab ID you can use to link to the perticular tab with section- as perfix. If you want to link tab from another page, simply copy the page url with #section-TAB_ID and use it as link url. This feature is called as deep linking.”
Yes, it does work that way. We are currently dealing with too many things. The documentation and the plugin demo is also in pipeline for the update in near future

Before buying Elegant Tabs for Avada, I would like to know if the following is possible.
I need to create a tab set for small group of people (4) and would like each clickable tab be the persons profile image & name. Looking at the sample styles, the icon tabs appear close to this, but am unsure if it will allow for a larger image that may be 300 or 400px tall.

You have an option to set the image width and height so you can set any size of the image for the tab icon.

You need to use the shortcodes inside the tab content. Unfortunately, drag/drop elements inside the tab content isn’t possible with Fusion Builder API. I hope they will work on this soon.
