Hi, two questions to see if it’s what I’m looking for:
1. Instead of changing background image by click anywhere, I only need it when a menu item is clicked
2. each menu item should be connected with one certain background image
Can I do this with your script?
Yes, the script has a go to function that you can use to switch to any of the background image you’ve included.
How can I turn off the onclick function?
I just want my background to change automatically instead of on click.
You just have to remove the $(“body”).click(...) function from your page
I have ideas on this items – http://codecanyon.net/item/easy-background/2219383/
you use this from example
var BGImageArray = ["1.jpg","2.jpg"],
var BGImage = BGImageArray[Math.floor(Math.random()*BGImageArray.length)];
2) Add option to set the maximum image size for example:
After crossing the window size above 550 height of the image is not further magnified but it will be displayed on the top of the page (top: 0px;).
2a) Add option to set the minimum image size (it is a similar)
thanks for update
You write on the demo four options: Fill, Adjust, Stretch and Repeat but neither one is not what I suggest
They are good additions indeed, but unfortunately won’t have time to upgrade it for now unfortunately.
In addition to installing Easy Background on my site, I’ve added Lightbox script. Both are using jQuery, but lightbox is using 1.11.0.min so I’ve left this one (as it seems newer). As a result under Firefox background is only shown partially (works ok under Chrome). Using 1.6.2.min results in lightbox not showing.
Please advice how I can use Easy Background with Lightbox so the both don’t get in conflict.
Which version of the easy video background do you have. Also can you provide me a link for me to debug?
Thanks and sorry for the delay.
it puts me “which causes two Network Error” NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http: // localhost / juicebox / none ”” NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http: // localhost / juicebox / undefined ”
Is this normal?
No idea what you just said
It seems though that you have some path wrong since it is giving a 404 error. Check if all the paths you’ve defined to the videos are correct.
I did a copy / paste too fast.
Here is the error message: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.battle-pro.com/none

That seems to not be related to easy background. It seems some scripts you’re including have a wrong path specified.
Regards and sorry for the delay
Hello, how I can have there thumbnails? It would be great photogallery which I need just right now
Unfortunately it doesn’t support thumbnails, it was made as a strict background script. Thanks for the interest anyway
Any chance of some help on making this MOBILE ready? On Landscape yes it works fine, but on PORTRAIT, all the advantages of your script are lost, as the window screen is w360 x h640px… so doesn’t matter if you have an iPhone 6 Android this or that, the Background looks dreadful…
As the background fix’s onto the Body tag, can’t do a lot about this, but IF I could add a ID to the DIV, then theres a chance of doing some CSS that would make this compatable with MOBILE screens – but cannot find where to +ADD a ID in he js to make this work…
anyone else found a way to do this…
If so DM me madesignUK
