Hi, I love your work and will continue to support it. However, I need to know how to make these HTML5 files responsive. I’m spending time making two sizes, one for mobile and one for the website, when I’m sure there has to be a better way (what I am seeing right now is a black background—it doesn’t look right when it’s in responsive mode). I know about Construct (not how to use it, but their payment options), but you have to ‘pay to play.’ Honestly, I bought this for the HTML5 so I don’t have to deal with Construct if I do not have to.
Their ‘free’ plan is pretty useless right now—most of your files cannot be exported in the free version. Anyway, please advise. Thanks!
Hello, first of all thank you for your purchase! And please excuse the delay. We understand that the free version of the engine may have limitations with exporting, but the paid version is recommended for these modifications when necessary. Note that this game is made in a fixed size screen mode, you could try changing it to ‘full screen mode’ to ‘scale inner’ or ‘scale outer’, but that will require other adaptations which may take some extra work.
