Will Databased work ok my shared hosting environment?

Databased requires root access to the MySQL server, so it’s unlikely to work properly on most shared hosting environments. There are a few workarounds/hacks available to make it work, but these will restrict Databased’s functionality.

I keep getting an error message saying “Invalid Token”. What gives?

If this problem keeps coming up, please edit the file “/application/config/config.php” and find line 94 where it says “$config[‘enable_hooks’] = TRUE;” change “TRUE” to “FALSE”.

Will Databased work on an IIS server?

Probably yes, but you will need to create a proper web.config file for the application to function properly.

How do I upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1.1?

1. check your database to see if the table “dbapp_columnrestrictions” exists. If not, execute the following SQL statement: CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `dbapp_columnrestrictions` ( `dbapp_columnrestrictions_id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `dbapp_columnrestrictions_database` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `dbapp_columnrestrictions_table` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `dbapp_columnrestrictions_column` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `dbapp_columnrestrictions_restrictions` text NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`dbapp_columnrestrictions_id`) ) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=1 ;

2. Update the following folders: – /application (every subfolder except for the /application/config folder) – /css – /js

That should be it. If you need any help, please shoot me an email at
