I get error messages when uploading files / creating users / editing users. What should I do?

The PHP script needs writing access to the folder “users”. To do this, give the directory the permissions 0777 recursively (in Transmit: Just check all the checkboxes you can see in the folders information window and click on the left button).

The file seems to upload normally, but it doesn’t appear in the users directory?

The problem is that PHP is limited by a maximum execution time. That means the file must be uploaded within a specific amount of time or the upload will fail. Just upload the files via the old school form or via FTP if they are too big.

How do I fix the “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/content/f/l/a/flashsite/html/clients/class/User.php on line 6” error?

You probably use PHP 4.x, but the script needs PHP 5 or higher to work correctly. Just upgrade your PHP installation, that should fix the problem.

How do I change the maximum upload size?

That’s not a limitation of the script but your hosting provider, in most cases you will not be able to change it. Upload large files via FTP instead.

I changed all permissions but still getting errors?

Some webhosters don’t allow rights that are too high, in this case try reducing the rights to 0775 or even 0755.

Is it possible that you allow the clients to upload files?

No, that wil never be possible with this script.
