Just purchased your code. And it helped me a lot. But there is something I’d like to change…
I want to make the whole image clickable (not just a button), so that I could use that image as a preview. But I’m not into coding. Can you help?
He pAvi_23. Thanks for buying.
I made two different buttons. A normal button, and an entire button.
For the normal button use:
a class=”button” href=”“
For the entire button. ( so the whole image will be clickable.) use:
a class=”entire” href=”“
Thank you for a rapid response. It worked!
Hi. I bought your “CSS3 Image – Text Hover Effects”. I need to work with rounded images with a list inside in hover effect. With the Zoom and opacy effect. Ca you help me pls.
Thanks for buying.
Of Course i want to help you.
So what you exactly want is, that you have a rounded image, and when you hover it you see a list-type. ( with bullets before it or not? ) and with the effects opacity and zoom. ( Do you want the ZoomIn effect or the Scale Effect?
I will working on it. And when its done i will send it to your email.
Can you send an email. To firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I make the title text remain visible, even when not hovering?
I did not made that, its now only possible when you hover it. Let me make something for you.
Can you send me an email to : email@example.com
Thank you so much for a super quick reply! Email Sent. I’d give you 6 stars if I could!
Hey- Loving this effect- but I noticed today I cannot click the image and get to my link with IE.
I hate IE, but for some reason people still use it.. Do you have a workaround?
Yeah i see. Let me try to fix it.
I tested it in IE. And you are right for some reason, it doesnt work.
I tried alot but i can’t figure it out why its not working in IE, Even not in IE10.
I search it on the internet but also nothing.
If i’m right you are using it for the computer and mobile, it worked on mobile devices and on the browsers, except for IE.
On this moment i cant get it work. I will try it again in the future ( i dont give up ).
I hope you dont mind that i cant help you right now. If i look at the stats only 12% are still using IE. ( Most of the people are old. ) So i will give it another try in the future.
Yeah- Unfortunately this site is for a website that may get a lot of older visitors! I had a meeting with the client yesterday and he happened to be using IE on his computer.
I am using this effect on a Joomla site. I can activate and deactivate modules based on browser. I may create another version for IE. If you come up with something though- please let me know!
One of the hardest parts about making websites is coping with the small amount of people still using IE.
Thanks for your response!
I have uploaded a new update. The entire image will be clickable for IE now. I changed something in the index.html.
The a class entri was first in the span. Its now outside the span so it works for IE.
<a class="entire" href="">
<img src="http://placehold.it/400x600" />
<h1>This is a title</h1>
<p>This is an example of a description.</p>
<p>The entire image is a link!</p>
IE support would be much appreciated. For me images with the entire link work as download links. People get message “Download Now” on hover. When people click and nothings happens… Well, it’s just awkward.
My clients are women 35-50 y/o, so I’m sure a good part them do use IE.
He pAvi, I know the problem. And i solved it. I will upload a new document and pls download it. And look into the html. Its a little change. To the entire button.
But its easy to change it.
I had a class=”entire” href=”#” in a span> But its now outside the span and that works in IE. So please download the new update.
And i am sorry for the bug in IE
Well, great… But I can’t see the difference
I expected the change on the line 60 on index.html.
First you had the—a class=”entire” href=”” > a/> inside the span.
But now i made it outside the span so it works for IE.
Me again, hehe
Can you make it possible to add an image inside the hover box? I think I would rather use a zoom-icon than text.
“div#image section img” sets the same “width” to every image inside there. I need to specify the width of my hover box image. Or else this happens: http://puu.sh/43bNV.jpg
I am on vacation right now. So i have to look at it when i am back that should be 24 or 25 aug.
Hello, can this be used in wordpress? If so how?
I’m not into WordPress so i can’t help you with that. But i think its possible to use it in WordPress but i am not sure.
hi, will this work with responsive bootsrap 3 images? thank you.
No i dont think its working with bootsrap 3 images.
It works now for IE7 and IE8
This looks great. Before I buy it, do you have the option to enlarge the image that you rollover into a lightbox, or is it just simple page redirects?
Thanks that you like it
I’m sorry but there is no option yet, that when you hover it, it will enlarge to a lightbox. Maybe in the future
Wow ~ looks phenomenal !
I’m using a Wordpress site and was curious to know how I would install and use these effects? Do I just place in style.css? If so, how do I set an action to an image I have embedded? Do I need to use HTML?
I know a little bit of CSS/HTML.
How do I install/use this? Any details you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I am interested in purchasing.
I dont know anything of wordpress. But if you use a site without wordpress you just copy and paste the files that you get into your folder.
Then you call the css in your html like this:
<link href=”name_of_css_file.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />
Do that for all the .css files.
After that you just copy and paste the html code in the tag.
I think it works different in wordpress but I’m not sure.
So i can’t help you with Wordpress sorry.
Is it possible to use this item in a fluid grid layout (with dreamweaver cc)?
Hey, like the product!
Just wondering how I’d go about using it on a responsive bootstrap based system, i.e. having 3 on a row and with the widths and heights not restricted by the boundaries you set.
Do all my images have to be the same width and height for this to work? If so, you should state this in your description.
The image can have the width and height what you want. But be sure if you are using the vertical box. That the image width is smaller then the image height so it looks a little nicer. And if you are using the horizontal box that the width is bigger then the height!
Thank you for your reply. I didn’t explain very well. I have a masonry wall of images all of different widths and heights, but for your code to work all images on the same page have to be the same width and height as each other. I want the code to work for a variety of widths and heights all on the same page. I hope I have explained better.
Also, this needs to work when the screen size is smaller as well.
Hey Jonesannie. Can you please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Nice work, GLWS
