Hi, Great menu! I’m having troubles getting the submenu to stay down when a sub level item is selected. i.e the .current state of the sub level item. Is this possible? Any ideas? Thanks

Hi. Thank you for purchasing my item. At the moment is a simple horizontal drop down menu.

Nice Job, one question. Is it possible to set the “first submenu item” always as “active” if someone visits the page for the first time?

i hope you know what i mean :)

Hello many thanks for purchasing my item. Yes is possible but you need to work on the code as following:

Add this code in the css file after the line 68

ul#nav li:hover > ul, ul#nav li.current ul { position: absolute; display: block; width: 960px; height: 40px; margin: 40px 0 0 0; background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#93b8c9), to(#055b81)); background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #93b8c9, #055b81); border: none; } ul#nav li.current ul li a { border: none; background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#93b8c9), to(#055b81)); background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #93b8c9, #055b81); }

Add the .current class to the first < li > in the html file at the line n. 11 I hope this will help you. Cheers.

How dow you make this menu perform dropdowns on the links – not the top tabs??

*example: “shop” should have a dropdown with 3 additional items in it.

Please advise! Thanks guys

Hi, can I remove the round corners from the tabs?

Thanks!

Hi, yes is possible via css.

Hi, I really like your menu and I’d like to purchase is but I need to know if I can modify the color. Thanks. Stefania

Hi Stefania, yes you can modify the colors as you prefer. You can find a detailed documentation with file or you can ask me here and i will help you. Thanks.

Hi There,

purchased the menu but it doesn’t seem to work in IE9 ? Is there a fix?

Many thanks Paul

As a footnote, i have the gradient working in IE9 …just not the hover state on the second level. When you mouse over the second level it just vanishes.

Hi, I need the horizontal drop & Slide line customized menu (should work on all browsers like IE7 and so on) to be created on urgent basis… can you please contact me on my email ankitshah89@gmail.com for the detailed requirement and costing stuff.

Hi, I have a problem with the submenus aligning in IE7 . When I test them in IE7 they are displaying off the the righthand side of the page rather than below the menu items.

Any ideas… Thanks

Hi, can you provide a link?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me – You can see the menu at the top of the page at http://www.cwjmedia.co.uk/Kaleida/development_services.html The only problem I have is menu alignment in IE7 Thanks

Did you have a look at the link I posted. Could really do with some feedback… thanks

Is this pretty easy to integrate into WordPress?

Hello, i think you can take inspiration from the css.

Hi, thanks a lot for this great menu.

I also would like to set the “first submenu item” always as “active” if someone visits the page for the first time. I’ve tried the code, but it doesn’t work perfectly on my menu (red one).

Could you give me the right/updated code for this?

Thanks a lot :)

Need to make it responsive.
