Thanks a bunch for this, i just needed this for my new theme preview and find this great script that saved my nerves ;). 5 stars ;)

Hvala puno, spasilo mi je vrijeme i zivce ;)

Glad you like it! Hvala ;-)

works perfect … 5 stars from me.

a specific link with a sitename would be nice … like …

switcher.php?default=mystyle.css&site=sitename.html

;-)

Hi; thank you for purchasing! Glad you like it.

By “site” parameter you mean a page were user gets redirected after style is switched? If so, we already have that :) Check the docs.

Thank you for this piece of work. Works great. 5 stars from me.

All the best. :)

Thank you for purchasing! Glad you like it!

Perhaps strange question, so… If I will install it in index.php, somebody will change style eg to blue, will be this style visible on other web sites (about, portfolio, contact etc etc)?

On other “web sites” – no. On other web pages on that domain – yes.

Well, I thought “On other web pages on that domain – yes.”, if it is so, I’m gonna buy it just right now, thanks ;-)

No harm meant, sorry if it sounded offensive. We just don’t have any means to edit the comments and would like to keep them as organised as possible.

Yep, it’s clear. :-) Anyway, 5 stars. Thanks. I recommend to other buyers.

Thank you!

Hello,

I have a wordpress where I need users to switch between 2 stylesheets. Need to ask, if someone changes the style and they go into a different page (on the same website) will the maintain the new style choosen?

Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!

Yes the new style will be maintained. It’s saved in a regular or a session cookie depending on what you configure.

Hello, I am purchased the file – but the theme I am using define the default style through a function i assume: <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”css/my-style.css” type=”text/css” />

It didn’t find that line – anyway to workaround this.

my site is qlrs.org and I am using salutation theme by parallus

Hi, thank you for purchasing. Sorry to hear you’re having problems.

Please contact our support via email. We can’t provide support via comments. Also, this is not a WP item so our support might be limited.

I’m just about to purchase.

However, I’m wondering if this can be per user.

Like if a member of my membership site wants to change the layout they are looking at (like from a dark to light background) will it work for that user alone?

This could be amazing to make the user experience way more enjoyable and customized for our members.

Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!

Settings (styles) are saved on a per-use session/cookie base. So yes, each member can have its own settings.

Hi

I sent some emails requesting assistance. Is it correct to use the form on CodeCanyon as I am not getting any replies.

Thanks

Hi, thank you for purchasing!

No need. I have found an alternative solution. Thank you

Hi there!

I have some problem:

The requested URL demo/css/switcher.php was not found on this server.

Any help?

Sorry, figured it out! Rated 5 stars!

Thank you for purchasing! Glad you figured it out.

Very nice script, it worked perfectly to my WP and any other website installation.

Until… I use CloudFlare. The users cannot change the style, and seemed stuck at the last setting.

Do you know what should I change to make it working again? Because I need them both (style switcher and cloudflare).

Thanks in advance.

I’m trying to use this in a WordPress setup to switch between stylesheets for the visually impaired (black on white, white on black, yellow on black and normal). I’ve set up the theme switcher, added the lines of code where needed…and when I do a mouse click I get 404 errors.

The stylesheets and switcher.php files (multiple ones) are in the same folder. Any thoughts? If it helps, I’m using The Cause WordPress theme.

Like RoughReady I’m needing something like this for a visually impaired radio network website. Is this code still being supported? I see the last comment was two months ago. I haven’t selected my theme yet, but it will be a wordpress theme.

Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!

The switcher works with WP but it is not a WP item so please note that the scope of our support is limited in that regard.

Hi, I’m wondering if this will help to get “A” grade on Google YSlow test to avoid google’s penalty for unnecessarily http-request when I can’t combine CSS files, into one, wich happened with wordpress themes, where develops instead of combining CSS /JS files, making a list of dozen <link rel=”stylesheet”... witch is growing with every plugin installed?

BTW, You don’t have a plan to develop “5sec JS/CSS Script Optimizer” that will work with Themeforest’s themes?

Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!

No this item will not help you with Google’s YSlow score. There are already quite a few popular JS/CSS optimizers/minifiers so at the moment we don’t have such plans.

Is there any documentation to implement this into a WP child theme?

I would like to be able to have three different color versions of my child theme css, and when someone installs the child theme in WP, I would like them to be able to set which css is activated on the site from the WP Dashboard.

Thanks!

Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!

No there are no WP instructions whatsoever since this is not a WP item. Sorry.

Yes, I see, thank you! :)

You’re welcome :)

Five stars! This works great. Thanks you saved me a bunch of time. I would have gladly paid more for this. $4 seems too cheap really. Envato should boost it up to at least $10.

P.s. I got it to work just fine with my wp child theme, it was easy. :)

Hi, thank you for purchasing and those kind words! We’re glad you’re enjoying our item.

Hi guys!

Any tips how NOT load empty switcher.php if I use default CSS?

Hi, thank you for purchasing!

We don’t provide support via comments – http://codecanyon.net/item/css-style-switcher/150156/support

Demo doesn’t work?? No matter which link I click on, nothing is changing …??

Hi, thank you for taking for taking an interest in our items!

Try accessing the demo directly – http://style-switcher.webfactoryltd.com/

No sorry, still no effect!! Also when I check the SourceCode it’s always the same :(

I’ve checked on 2 computers and had no problems :( Try force refreshing the page. Other than that I don’t know what to suggest. We didn’t have any problems in 5 years that the item’s been up for sale.

Demos all broken.

Hi, thank you for letting us know!

It’s fixed. Just make sure you force refresh your browser.

How it will work with WordPress ? Do you have any documentation ?

Hi, thank you for purchasing!

No, sorry we don’t. But we had customers who implemented it without much problems.
